We need Adam Clayton Powell in this world right now. I think he could make real changes for Black people. I admired your father so much and all that he accomplished.
It's a shame that the youth today doesn't know much or anything about Adam Clayton Powell jr. He was such a force as a Congressman and accomplished a great deal. He was able to get legislation passed that was very important to Blacks and other people of color. I truly believe that it is time that future generations of African Americans take an interest in finding out about great Civil Rights leaders like Powell and appreciate what he was able to do and what he stood for.

Already giving the message to work with the blue print that Adam Clayton Powell jr. established in the service of the Nation, and each one has a role to play ( serve) be it a Cleaner sweeper of the road or CEO of a company or Commander in Chief of a Nation . I wish one day Adam Clayton Powell iv does becomes the commander in Chief of our Nation. I am sure he will carry the teachings of the Baptist Minister , his father , who said : Unless you believe in the Universal brotherhood of Man and work for it ( Paraphrased it), you are living a life of hypocrisy . for clarification I would say it this way : If you do not believe in the Universal brotherhood, you have lived all your life chasing a Mirage, Never satisfied of the thirst that you are thirsty about. Just like living in a desert , you go up to a Mirage thinking there is water , and that Mirage goes farther away from you. You do not get the water to drink , you only chased a spurious thing. Similarly life is also filled with dissatisfaction , if you do not believe in the Universal brotherhood of Man. A person who believes in the Universal brotherhood of Man and becomes Commander in Chief of our Nation, he will not commit to the atrocities of War , upon defenseless Nations , for their Mineral Resources as it is happening for decades with our Chiefs and happening today also. CREATION of Biblical Proportion of Refugees and Millions of innocent deaths of Men , Women and Children of the OIL RICH Nations. And loss of our YOUNG men and Women in thousands , and disability mental and Physical and some times both of hundreds of thousands of our young Men and Women. This is One Planet Earth as a boat , we are all floating in it together, we can live together and share the resources together as brethren , we do not have to show our EVIL side by dropping of Bombs upon those who cant even Manufacture a rifle . We sell the weapons to them to kill each other. Rather we have flooded the desert-land ( Iraq and Syria etc ) with weapons to kill each other , spill rivers of blood and then call it a Desert Spring. What an EVIL Hypocrisy of the Hypocrites in Power , totally abandoning the teachings of the teachers who taught : Treat your neighbor as you want to get treated. In situations like this with intense oppression of Masses Natural Disaster will come in the form of PLAGUES, Tsunami and Earth quakes. Then when it all gets leveled in a moment of time , the foolish Man then thinks oh we did wrong , Lord forgive us, then it will be too late.
