Might be worth to note that most of the time if your having drive issues it’s the chains being too tight and applying pressure of the cork or too loose and it locking on the sprocket

Hey Chinny! Great video, i was hoping adjusting the clutch would solve my mates parklander engaging the drive without the clutch being pulled in, but the bolt is pretty loose.
I think i’m going to have to pull the clutch apart to see what is locking it up 🤦🏼‍♂️

Mate, awesome video. Just got my first cylinder mower, a lawnmaster 500 golf. I'm finding the speed is way too fast, almost have to run behind it, apart from the obvious of using less throttle can this system be modified to travel a little slower? Are there any community of cylinder mower moders?

Yep heaps of dudes that mod them.
Heaps of cylinder mower pages on Facebook
Only way to slow it down is to feather the clutch.
They are designed to slip a little

I just purchased an old Masport Olympic 660. It is way too fast . Thought of trying to find a smaller drive sprocket (very top one). Is that doable?
Also, sent photos to Masport Australia to identify model. They sent me through the parts breakdown of a MK1 which is not the right one. How can I identify the model. Any good resources you can recommend?
