It’s pretty much bang on what I expected for a psychological thriller/musical mash up. And bear in mind, A Star is Born was not a musical but a music drama - there were no breaks in reality to accommodate the songs. What I’m getting from this film is Sucker Punch but with a director infinitely more capable than Zack Snyder.

Stunning trailer and the musical element just enhances what Todd Phillips concept is looking for. Gaga & Joaquin's screen presence is haunting. Wonderful trailer .
