You can also add smaller stickers in the open spaces to maximize ALL of the sticker paper possible, and use those as freebies, put them on the address label for a small touch to your package etc
I'm determined to learn stickers!! I learned "kiss cut" term and I've made one page of stickers so far- I made them myself from a drawing. They're terrible but I am going to keep going!
On telling the backing side vs the print side of sticker or photo paper... wet your finger, the side it sticks to is the side to print on, the other is the backing. I also recommend putting on the package which side is up (printing side vs not.) This was literally the best tip that I've picked up. No more guessing! Of course this only works if the paper is coated, it will not work on shipping labels that are plain paper on the print side.
This is the best tutorial on using the double-line cut (kiss-cut combo) I have ever seen. My Silhouette has been severely underused because I could just not figure out how to do this. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this info!
This was great! I love how you did the kiss cut and then a cut that went straight thru for easy peeling on the customers end. I usually hand score the back which is so time consuming.
This was super helpful!!!!!! Ive had my machine since 2017 and could never figure out how to cut things out. No other videos helped me until today NO LIE! I just need to find my cutting mat now but it surely cut my stickers out. THANK YOU!!!!!
I was so close to returning my Silhouette because I couldn't figure it out but this video solved all my problems and my stickers look so good!! thank you so much.
I am so glad I watched this video. I learned about kiss cut and how to get the cut outline to work. Both of these will help me so much when I print anything on printable vinyl and sticker paper. Also, thank you for recommending the Neato paper, it was so confusing trying to find a good one on amazon. With the OCT50 I got 50% off my 3 10 sheet packages. I also will use this to make labels that i can cut for the African Violets I raise. Another hobby of mine. Loved this and learned a lot. Thank you so much .
I am a big fan of your work. You can bring those registration marks out more to print more stickers ... I love to make stickers on my Cameo 4 .. Keep up the good work.
I have been trying to make stickers and this video was so helpful!! Now I feel confident that I can finally get some of my stickers designs printed and start selling! Thanks!!
Thank you for the step by step instructions. I have a Cricut and I already know how to do the kiss-cut with Print then Cut, but I don't know of a way to do the two separate cut depths at the same time. I'll have to research this and see if the Cricut has this capability. As always, thanks for the great info!
You have to trick it. Take what you want to be the full cut and put it on top of itself 4 times. You can take the color away and send the extra three to the back but make sure they are exactly placed on each other. This causes the cricut to cut that line 4x. I use the post it cut setting and the image that is there one will be kiss cut and the one that is 4x will be the full cut.
there is a setting that will autofill the best way to get all the items in the empty spaces. Not sure where to find it though..but I remember seeing it somewhere
Late to the PARTY, but AWESOME tutorial! If I'm wanting to search for stickers you made...what would i search for..are they pdf, png??-- I'm looking for cute sewing stickers! Loved your sticker patterns you chose! TY!
I love your tutorial - I just added letters to my artwork and I can’t figure out how to offset it in a straight line. It wants to jut down around the letters I added! How do I make it offset straight across?
You are so AWESOME Sallie...I love all your videos & tutorials...I have had my silhouette cameo for about 3 or 4 yrs and can't get it to do the print & cut,but I am going to re watch your tutorial and see if I can make some stickers for my customers...I enjoy & appreciate all your help 😊 One question though...Do you print your stickers out with sublimation ink or use regular ink in your printer? I didn't catch it if you said it or not ...Thanks so much, Margaret Brown 😊🥰
Hi.. Love your tutorial... My issue is I too have the Business Edition; however, it does not show the same setting options as yours does under the Page Setup area. It does not show MACHINE.... Only Size-width-height-orientation. will not having a Machine to select make a difference? What update version do you run? I think that may be why the difference. Thank you and I look forward to your reply.
I think they are cute, but I am looking for some thing that I can do with my machine to put on woodwork like I would like to start making things for my tier tray
Hi Sallie! I've watched you for a while and finally decided to try the stickers. They worked perfectly after some tweaking on my Silhouette settings. Quick question..its been a while since you filmed this and I was wondering if you've had any issues with the ink bleeding or any complaints at all? I got the Neato Matte Finish Water Resistant White Vinyl Labels, full sheet. Just looking for a trusted source for review before I go all-in!
What do you recommend if the only printer I have is set up for sublimation? Do you think that it will work or do I have to laminate it after printing the sticker sheet.?
Hi Sallie! Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. Quick question, I purchased the "Thank you for shopping small this fall" png and some others from the same Etsy shop but my Silhouette Design Edition software and machine are wanting to cut a square around the sticker and not the white shape around the design. How did you get this to work? I tried tracing as well but the outline around the white portion of the sticker is too faint. Any tips?
Hi Sallie, thank you so much for another great video! I just got my cameo 4 and as I was trying to do stickers by watching your video, I was not able to cut them because it won't let me select the cut edge option. Do you happen to know why that is happening? Please let me know:)
This is by far THE best sticker tutorial on the entire internet. THANK YOU!!!!
THANK YOU. You've addressed all of my questions with regards to making my own stickers!!! BEST tutorial I've come across.

You just saved me SO MUCH MONEY! Here I was thinking my machine was too outdated to do this and that I'd have to buy another one. Thank you!!!

I'm going to go through this again. Great tutorial. I messed up somehow and deselected the outline of my design and my first offset line somehow.
This was awesome! Thank you so much! I bought a set of graphics I wanted to use for stickers but had no clue how to do it! I can't wait to try now.
Thanks for the tutorial. Great explanation on kiss cut and regular cut. One that I could understand.
Thank you! Glad it helped 😊
I learn best by observation, and you did a great job! Thank you!
Definitely going to use these for my small biz! Thank you :)
I'm glad I came across this video, you explained everything perfectly. I'm ready to give it a try!!!

Very very helpful video. Do you have to have 2 blades to do a kiss cut?
So much easier with this software than Cricut I can’t wait to get my silhouette
wonderrful for your business thanks
Hi Sallie. Do you have a favorite Etsy shop where you purchase your images from?
Thanks for an awesome video! I do not have a Rachet blade, will an Autoblade work? Thanks

Great video!!!! But i really just want know is what color is ur eyeshadow??? And where is it from??
🤣 it's actually an elf bronzer palette! I'm totally not good with makeup.
Great tips as always thank you
Am I correct that if u use an inkjet printer, that the unk.will smear if it gets wet? Or does the vinyl hold the ink better?
im so excited I have no idea why I thought the process was a lot harder than that lol
I always thought it was too! I've had my machine for many years and just never tried. Glad I finally did because I'm hooked lol
@@SimplySallie unfortunately my settings are different so I have to see how I can make sure it cuts where I need it too
Oh this is great! Thank you
Very good video 😊
can you help me understand why when i cut the stickers the first row is good and the rest it cuts into the design
Very helpful!! Thank you so much
This is perfect info thank you
This is great, thank you for this!
What kind of ink do you use for your stickers? The Epson ink?
What do you recommend if the only printer I have is set up for sublimation? Do you think that it will work or do I have to laminate it after printing the sticker sheet.?
Detailed informative tutorial
Design is adorable for those heart stickers! Can the double cut (kiss & die cuts) be done with cricut?
Yes it can! I've seen others do it with their cricut.
Very good video.
Thank you for this video! So very helpful! 🥰
So cool!
What blade is the ratchet blade🤔? Thank You
I love your videos ❤️
I have trouble with stickers and the word because they are not connected. Anyone know how to fix that issue?

Great job!!!!
I've read that the ratched blade only works in the left carriage...? But you have it also in the right...Does it still work fine?
You use that printer to print pictures to put in your shirts ?
Luv your videos. Is there a Rachel blade for cameo 4?
Yes! You can order the adapter. I did this for my 4 pro
@@SimplySallie thanks adapter for ratchet blade for cameo 4
Hi Sallie, thank you so much for another great video! I just got my cameo 4 and as I was trying to do stickers by watching your video, I was not able to cut them because it won't let me select the cut edge option. Do you happen to know why that is happening? Please let me know:)
Was having the same issue you just need to click on the design you're trying to cut and it will give you access to the cut edge option
Do you need two Blades or just the one will cut both of the settings ?
Thank you! You make it look so easy! ❤️
Are you using regular ink or sub ink? Thanks
