I watched this song and i was like "So beautiful, but so hard! I can never do this :c" Then i just started playing it and while doing that i got so motivated by the song that i kept going on. I got through the hard parts and now i can play it.

Wow, dude nice! Took me a minute into the video to realize that this audio wasn't ripped from the video of him playing. This is probably one of the best transcriptions I've seen. Dynamics do wonders.

edit: yo its 2022, i totally forgot about updating loool i played this at a family reunion wayyy back then. havent touched the keyboard for a while so im little rusty. took me two summers to do the whole thing, but i finally did it !! you reap what you sow !!

This song is a truly masterpiece
Had to shorten it a bit because I'm lazy, but I'm happy to say after a solid year or two of starting and giving up on learning this I've finally made it 4 minutes in. Broke a sweat after playing for a few hours.

I have to agree, some parts of this song are really stretched and repetitive, I also shortened some passages in the middle

Isn't that what lots of music creation is? I got these notes, what if I used these instruments to play them, what if I modify the sound of the instruments? listen, change settings, re-arrange the notes a little, add a few more notes. Seems very creative.

ahmm well the amounts of time I practice really variate. Sometimes I play everyday for a week, sometimes I dont play for 2 months. I got it in 2.5 years but I didn't practice that much on it. If I practiced more/ only calculate thr amount of time I put into it, I'd have gotten it in a few months I think

@@mcgrey_ I kinda understand, I get like that sometimes. For example, Zohar's Corridors of Time is an extremely difficult song for me. Every time I think I learn a part and listen to it again, I find that there are some parts that I missed, so I have to relearn certain parts of it.
It should give you goosebumps, because it's a masterpiece.

Love the intro and climax of course. Very easy intro to play but odd structurally. Hard to say where a meter starts and ends, you just kind of get into a cycle and it keeps going
