    Is so sad that the traditional Judaism have taken over yhe Jewish community. You can’t sometimes even convert back to Judaism if you are a Jew that grew up in another religion because the traditional community will still consider you a ger. This is the case of the Anusim that are spread around Latin America which have tried hard to convert but due to rabbies not been able in those countries or not wanting to convert make their life miserable. I hope God allow the Karaites come back in years to come! We need them God needs them again! I am a Sephardic myself and can’t tolerate all these nonsense rabbinical domination over and even worse in our Sephardic community which is the hardest and discriminates the most any form of conversion. Shalom!

    As a Christian, I respect the Karaite Jew. They stand on the authority of God's word alone. We obviously have our differences, but with these people I believe there is mutual respect. And that goes a long way in a world subjugated by satanic elites.

    I really wish Karaite Judaism would spread and open up synagogues everywhere and seek converts. I also want to see Karaite traditional commentaries on the Tanach to be published.

    I've seen a couple of your videos now. This is exactly like "Quranism" or "Qur'an Alone/First" Islam being the true Islam .... and the sectarian Sunni/Shia Islam based on the "oral tradition" (Hadiths). Shaytan has the same tricks. The Prophet said we would follow the way of "those before us" ... and we are truly exactly in the same state.
    God bless you.

    I still feel blessed you helped me on my path! I appreciated all the personal time you devoted to me and my walk in karaism. I do find Mr. Gordon too close to Christian for me personally but I probably have different views from that. I just feel he allows them to stay by helping them not correcting them.

    Much respect to Karaite Jews; you're real Jews because you accept the Torah alone and not the talmud.
    It's also why I respect Quran only Muslims who reject the hadith.

    Thank you for the explanation, although you do seem to repeat the same point just a little more than necessary. I got the point that you view the Tanakh as self-sufficient well before the eight-minute mark.

    I have been wanting to have a better understanding of the Hebrew scriptures for over 25 years. I have especially been sort of lost as to understanding what the Prophets were talking about. Is there any good detailed commentaries or books that you could recommend to me or even online teachings. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

    Sounds a lot like "Sola Scriptura" when Protestantism split from the Catholic Church. The RCC adds the traditions of men, elevating them to the same level of the Bible, which is similar to how I understand most Jews treat the Talmud.

    Salam please allow me to share a verse from the holy Quran regarding adhering to the Torah:
    Quran 5:44
    Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah ] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah, and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.

    • @pakistanzucks

      It would be utter bullshit if one couldnt convert or join the fate, how does that make any fucking sense, the creator only chose jews to beleive in him and only give them scripture while the rest of human race gets the shaft!!! The holy creator has done no such thing!! his revelations are universal , yes they would come to a specific people or tribe then these people who are the initial receivers are given the mantle of responsibility to spread the word of the creator not by the sword but by good words and conduct.

    How is possible to observe Shabbath without the rabbinic law? What is according to the karaites allowed and forbidden on Shabbath?

    • @plumsink
      @plumsink 5 лет назад +1

      I am very new to Karaite Judaism so I might not be the best person to ask, but my understanding is that the heart of the Shabbat rules is this: not to work, not to ask your employees to work, not to engage in commercial transactions or otherwise invite other people to work on Shabbat. That's about it. There is debate over what lighting a fire on Shabbat might entail, but otherwise the core value in the Shabbat is freedom. Not being enslaved to work or economy on that day. There are other things, but that is the heart of the matter.

      Well Salaam and Shalom. Welcome to my channel. I have very close relationships with several Muslims who ALSO do not believe in additions... I learned quite a bit about these individuals over the last few years it's very interesting just like our Judaism which is original Tanakh alone...No Talmud

  • @cue_khb
    @cue_khb 3 года назад

    I respect Jews who can hold to the Tanakh exclusively. Since I'm a Reformed Christian, I hold to Sola Scriptura and not the Tradition of the Catholic Church. So I see a parallel between Karaism being Tanakh alone as opposed to Talmud and Kabbalah.
    But how do you keep Torah without the Temple?

    • @matthewgordonpettipas6773

      Its true that the Torah doesn't specifically state that there is an afterlife though when Abraham passes away it says he was gathered to his ancestors. Now obviously that can't be talking about physically since Abraham was buried in Canaan not Mesopotamia where he was originally from.
      I take it to mean his spirit was taken to be with his ancestors (i.e taken to the afterlife). Other Karaites may interpret that passage differently but for me that is what it means.
