- This video will cover the Top 7 Interior Design Trends to pay attention to in 2021. I’ve been working as an interior designer for the past 18 years, first as a residential designer and now as a commercial designer for large businesses and their office spaces.
But whether it be residential or commercial design, I’ve always needed to know what the upcoming Interior Design trends were going to be. Why, because the last thing I wanted to do was find myself at the end of a multi-year project with a dated design.
This Interior Design video will assist you in planning what's next for your home and exterior spaces. Please let me know if you plan to incorporate any of these trends or something new for 2021. Let me add that trends are just that trend. Design with colors and furnishing that you love, and your space will never go out of style for you!

1. Upper cabinets and lower cabinets different colors.
2. Bring outdoors in, add plants!
3. Open concept is going out of style.
4. No more all grey, or all white. No more farmhouse! No words on the walls!

You should do color bottom cabinets and white upper cabinets. That is a big trend!

If you follow the 'trends', your home will look dated and stupid in 12 months. Decorate with what you love, ignore trends, and love your space! Those dark cupboards at 4:34 are straight out of the Mediterranean look in the early 1970's UGH! (The youngsters probably think this is soooo new!)
