I know you are less on the organized religion side, but I am a Catholic who loves your channel. I love these bible updates from a protestant brother, keep them coming and keep safe and prayers for JD and Munky.
That's just how I feel. I'm Catholic too, partly because the ritual gives me comfort, but I love hearing Head's perspective on the bible verses. He once was lost, and now not only did he find himself, but he became wise.
Jesus was against organized religion because religion organized Jesus's crucifixion. I'm happy that you're searching for God, but if you can get out of Catholicism, join the real Christianity because Catholics go against a lot of Jesus's teachings and in my belief is a false religion. Along with every other religion. If Catholics were Christians, then why wouldn't they just be called Christians? God bless and I pray you find the truth.

I've struggled with faith because I was brought up in nihilism and abuse. Now my ego that was formed by my parents controls me. But one day I am very open that I could be more open for Jesus and God. I am at least open for that they exist. I think it will come eventually the more I meditate and accept things instead of judging but I won't force it.
Unfortunately because I see my ego as my own god subconsciously I have issues with faith. But it will come with time eventually. There is a reason why I am like this but it doesn't mean I will need to be like this forever.
Brian you are one of the guitarists that influenced me as a kid growing up when I discovered your music in 1996
Years later your honesty and transparency with your struggles with drug addiction helped influence me to get clean and sober.
In AA and CA we follow the 12 step program which teaches us to be open to god. Your influence had already planted that seed.
And today… I stay sober and have been reborn through the unconditional love and guidance from Christ and these videos that I always stubble upon at the right times emotionally (divine intervention) keep me connected to my faith and focused.
You sir, to me anyway, are doing gods work and I’m forever grateful to you 🙏
Amen! People try to find happiness in money, cars, fame, associations, and guilty pleasures only being left w/a form of emptiness. The only true way to fill such a void is building a true relationship w/the Lord. Seek first the kingdom of God & he will supply you w/everything you need. I never read books but for some reason, I couldn't stop reading yours once I started and it really touched my heart in many ways...gave me hope and inspiration...reached out to me whenever I needed it the most. So thank you for that and for this video.

I feel like depression can sometimes play a role as a plant killer to me. When my grandfather passed away I felt like I understood. Their is such a dark void that is unreachable to anyone to me. My grandfather was so ready to go kept saying it was healthy and it just amazing me that he got what he wanted....I just wish it wasn't parting with us. I fight that inner dark myself get on online crap to keep my mine off it but it is there. I will always water the plant inside but I have to also keep the dark that fights it from growing....

I am also an ex-meth addict. I've been clean for over 4 years and work for Teen Challenge Monterey Bay helping/discipline others. The Lord has given me new and awesome desires that are way better than any other drug this world has to offer.

WOW” is all I can say!!!! I’m 35 years old my middle school years I thought I was the coolest! I was the biggest skater Chick and I was one of those people that didn’t want to be like everyone else. I was unique and to me that’s what made people cool. I was probably one of the biggest Korn fans and I did actually skateboard really well when not many females did lol I grew up with a hippy dad that battled with addiction but he was so smart biblically. He was raised in church, he knew the Bible and loved God with everything in him. The problem was the power of addiction. The last time he overdosed was when I was 13 but this time everything changed he never picked up drugs again God healed him it wasn’t easy but he got through it and man it’s such a testimony! Seeing God free him from that changed my life and made me realize it doesn’t matter what you go through that matters is having God in your corner and getting through it. I stopped listening to Korn when you left because your the reason I was obsessed with Korn. I was drawn to you and I think it was because I was drawn to who God really saw, when he looked at you. You are so extremely talented and that gift came from God. I just watched your testimony and it’s such a blessing. Thank you for sharing it!

I have no idea what you're talking about, but something inside me resides with what you're saying. And it makes me cry, it makes me so scared, yet so filled with hope. It's so crazy I can't wrap my head around it, I just have to keep going. It's so good and so bad at the same time for me. I'm trying so hard to follow the light but I keep stumbling in the dark :'(

I'm suffering from mental illness for 22 years now. I watched your movie a few times and every single one of your videos and i love you man. I'm so happy for you and your daughter. You deserve to be happy.
I tried so hard to get out of my situation to get "free" and just feel "power" and all that stuff.."if been asking and knocking" for a long time..
But nothing changes..
I really want it cause i'm a father of a perfect 5 year old boy..
Something HAS TO change cause i don't know how long it takes until everything just crashes..

Ask him to shift your desires to him. Spend quality time with him in the secret place. Talk to him like you’d talk to me. He is your friend! Focus on intimacy my friend!
If you believe that He paid for your sins on the cross, you are saved, He is definitely in your heart. The bible says whoever believes in Him receives the Holy Spirit and he never goes away.

How we live our lives shows our true character. We can claim to be Christian but if we are not living it then we are only fooling ourselves. All this division and living in fear, these things are not from God. The more we seek God the more we will find him. Our life here is short but it will determine how we spend eternity. Just felt someone needed to hear this. Love one another no matter what. Help one another. It’s the only way
