I am glad Microsoft is focusing a lot on the operating system. By the time they release a Surface Duo 3 it will prob be far more polished than the first two Duos. This is the next step that Microsoft seems to be taking attempting to replicate their early success with the Microsoft Surface lineup.

But the Pro 3 really optimized a lot of features like the kickstand, the Surface Pen, and the Type Cover.

@@msp5138 Considering the features that the Duo 2 has (NFC, upgraded camera, updated processor, 5G) that the Duo 1 lacked, I would certainly say that yeah the Duo 2 is an upgrade. So I went and got a Surface Duo 1 after watching this video and a couple of others. Arrived this morning. Android 12L has made this a great device.
What an incredible second device. This is the way that Microsoft needs to focus the product. Don't bother trying to be a phone replacement but an incredible second device with 5G/4G connectivity.
So great software, great screens and connectivity. But cameras, don't need them and treat this more like a tablet than a phone.
I would have gone for Surface Duo 2, but this device is better due to the lack of camera bump and a nicer design.
This is now go-to device for work email.
Pity it took Microsoft 2 years to get there. Hopefully Surface Duo 3 perfects this form factor.

It is more inspired now to Fluent Design V2, but yeah it's not a straight up similar to Wimdows. Things like sliders are still Android 12 design, only made some slight changes like added shadows. At least it's not bad, but it surely needs more polished. The title header for example sits way towards the left.
