New Moi University Acting VC takes office

Professor Laban Ayiro has taken over the office of vice chancellor of Moi University in an acting capacity from retiring vice chancellor Prof Richard Mibey Ahead of a two day graduation ceremony that starts tomorrow. The management of Moi university management says the graduation ceremony will go on as planned despite protests led by two governors on Tuesday who were demanding that a local be appointed to take over from Mibey and not professor Ayiro.
