Hi beautiful souls! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful comments - I truly appreciate them ❤️ I try to read and answer as many as possible, and know that I’m just so thankful that you take from your valuable time to do so ❤️ Love & light!
God brought me to your videos today. I struggle immensely with mental health and I battle not taking my own life, daily... I've been through a lot throughout life and have a hard time accepting that life is a gift and to be grateful for it. One part of my struggles is I had a massive stroke, 5 years ago, at age 36. The pain and numbness I live with are minimal in comparison to what you have endured and continue to live with. I just wanted you to know that today I'm a little more mentally sound after listening to you! Thank you! You are helping so many people in ways I'm sure that are life saving!
Dear Mandi ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your story - I feel for you so much 🥺🤍 Your pain and struggles are no less than mine and I share in your pain - even with questioning life. I had a small stroke due to a brain hemorrhage on the 1st of December, 2021. It was in the area of my sight, so I lost half of my sight for some time. I’m much better now, but I still struggle with permanent issues. I wish I could take away your pain. I feel so blessed you’re here and sharing your light with me and with us 🌎✨💖
For most of us there is someone who is worse off than we are ourselves. I can not fathom what you have gone through and are going through. So please don't think I am being flippant about your situation. Take stock of everything you are able to do for yourself or with a little help and praise yourself for doing those things. Maybe look to things and people that can or do give you purpose and a reason to go on. Whoever you are, you are wonderful and awesome and the world is a better place with you in it. Take care of yourself.
Your videos are going to change lives. There are hundreds of neurologically impaired people, especially young people, who need to see you and hear your messages! This is how you run now. Literally across the planet! Go girl go!
My heart is strengthened knowing neurologically impaired young people will have access to your channel and book that is outstanding awesomeness I support your bravery tenacity and tenderness you are so loved and respected and appreciated shine brightly dear one shine on xxx
What a coincidence for me. I just watched your "My Accident, how I became a quadriplegic" and was going to respond to you that you are an amazing and beautiful storyteller. You have a knack for taking the viewer to the very place that you are. Your situation is tragic and life altering but you are able to transport us from tearful sadness to joyous laughter or at least smiling. Thank you for telling your stories and for helping so many with your courage, strength and endurance. Please write your book. I want to read it.
I would read that Book! You have such a beautiful delivery, thank you for sharing your heroic extraordinary awareness. Vulnerable, strong, honest and real! Your understanding of Life inspires me beyond explanation! You are truly on another level. Humanity needs you❤️🙏🏻
One wonderful thing is all the love flowing between you and your audience. In a world where most people talk about nothing most of the time, you talk to us about what’s important. I’m right there with you too, in my heart.
Beautiful Erin I cannot imagine what you have gone through and still having pain. You are very authentic and I pray your blog/videos bring you more peace. You keep me from self-pity and remind me to be grateful. Much love and gentle hugs.
Your video somehow showed up on my feed out of no where. Not even close to anything I watch or have interest in. But I pauses before almost deleting it and decided to watch a bit of it. It was the video about your accident and what happened. And a few minutes turned into watching it in it's entirety and subscribing to your channel. In any case, I didn't find you, you found me! ❤️ You are such a beautiful and strong soul. Just the few videos you have posted have touched so many people already and I'm sure we all look forward to many more. I can't even imagine the kind of strength it must take to go through what you have endured. But I guess you never know how strong you really are until you have no choice but to just give in or to live with what life has given you. Anyway, thank you for finding me and I look forward to joining you on your journey. ♥️ 🥰🤗
I stumbled on your video I'd say by accident but I don't believe things happen on accident. As I read your comments I see a common theme in them throughout. How soothing your voice is and comforting you are as a person. You seem pretty spiritual and I wonder if you've ever thought of making some guided meditation videos on youtube? You are very in touch with your body and emotions. You can empathize with so many people and situations. I love your motivational vlogs. I think you can touch this world in so many ways. Through vlogs but also making some guided meditation videos. I think you'd be ah-mazing at it. You have so many ways to reach others and so many projects running through your mind. You have the opportunity and the motivation to do them all. Stay positive and never stop touching people in deep ways as you are. You're changing lives no doubt.
Also know that everything you're doing does mean something. You may not see it firsthand but think of all the people you'll never meet that come across one of your videos. The ones that came across them just as they felt no one understood them. Then they found a wonderful woman on youtube, half way across a globe, who wondered if anything she did meant something, that completely got them.
Thank you for your amazing positivity despite such difficult circumstances. You’re such a beautiful person. Your writing will be wonderful to read. Sending very best wishes recovering from the bad infection you’ve been treated for over the last month.❤🌹🌸🙏
Wow. I am amazed at your ability to explain your thought so clearly and beautifully. God has no doubt given you a difficult path in life, but he has also clearly given you the grace to get through it. Actually not just get through it, but to make the very most of an incredibly difficult life. Best of all, you are sharing your life lessons with others, helping them realize that life can be hard, but is still so worth living. I would say you have more than a bit of healing powers. Your words are a balm to other battered souls looking for their authentic self in the face of adversity. Well done you. I am a fan. ❤❤
Understanding your situation makes me feel guilty about bemoaning the experience of my own petty problems. If I could, I would come to where you are and just talk to you.
Ur voice is so relaxing to listen to u have such a beautiful & precious spirit . Please keep pushing forwards keep being courageous ❤❤❤❤ love from uk 🇬🇧 x
Bing watching all your videos in 24 hr. Now I have to wait or watch re-watch....I will rewatch. There is so much inspiration in each one that I know I am in for a bonus blessing from re-watching. Thank you so much. P.S. I love hearing your voice and hope you record your own book in your own voice for audio purchasing. God bless you for being the blessing you are!
Wow Erin Beautiful Girl🥰 Watching and listening to you… ❤️ You truly are such a real beautiful soul. Such depth of wisdom with your words… a gift Praying for you that you turn your corner soon🤞 Love and light my dear friend…. Love and light 💫
@@eirinceciliegjedrem I’m looking forward to knowing you. Just know, we who have begun to love you will not mind your good days and bad. You may cry, or show whatever emotion. You made me smile and want to hug you!
Thankyou for sharing you are really wonderful because I love authentic and real people it’s so hard to find in this harsh world. You are giving hope to so many through your beautiful heart and life.
Thank you Eirin for making this video. I sometimes suffer from depression and have recently started a gratitude journal. I like to go over my entries a few times a week to keep my spirit up. I appreciate your transparency! I hope you are feeling better soon friend ❤
I have watched about 4 or 5 of your videos, and I am amazed at what a beautiful, amazing, giving soul you are. You have shown me, how to be stronger, and to appreciate life so much more. You are a wonderful blessing from God. Thank you Eirin, for teaching me valuable lessons.
Hello, beautiful soul, Norwegian angel. So impressed by your courage to reach out in this way. Maybe you have some Viking in you. 🙂 🗡 Yes, you definitely have the gift of story-telling, and I look forward to hearing more about your writing. Speaking of, your command of the English language is really impressive, seriously. Better than many Americans, I must say. Are you both self-taught and also learned it at school? Maybe add that to your next Q&A if you haven't done so already? Thank you very much for sharing, my dear. Your friend in Chicago sending you best wishes.❤ 🌹🏵
Your explanations of gratitude has been really helpful. Sending you my energy ❤. By the way, you explain and describe amazingly well. Can’t wait to read your book in the future. Hug from Spain.
Thank you for sharing your story, i know it couldn’t have been easy. You show the reality of life yet you enable many to be thankful of what one has. I love your spirit & admire your sweet soul. I think it’s a great idea you write your book just be sure to do the audible yourself. Your voice has such a calming effect even when talking real life adversities
I just want to add that it warms my heart to know that there are beautiful souls like you out there. It helps lift my spirit just watching your videos. I love how authentic you are and it helps me focus my compass. Thank you Erin! You should definitely get a dog…if possible. They give so much unconditional love ❤
I would definitely read your book. I think it’s a wonderful idea. I’m so sorry your nauseous from the antibiotic you’ve been taking for so long 😢. This is the second video of yours that I’ve watched. I’d love to know more about you and I feel drawn to you. Your a good person. Hang in there sweetheart.
I appreciate your confessing about the word gratitude “Leaving a bitter taste” as it is better it isn’t forced nor feigned and I say that as someone who was very authentically grateful from a very young age and then in elder years became less so and am trying to get it back in a more conscious way. Your video about how you were injured also is so refreshingly honest and emotionally accessible, the positives more so for your admissions about your struggles and expressing your vulnerability with tenderness and your impressive memory of the intimate details of your experience before, during and after your injury. You see others’ viewpoints and your own with amazing clarity. “A lot of perfection on social media”…you said that as I was writing this and you go on about one battle after another; so brave and beautiful the way you aknowledge and express that and your voice too.
Eirin, I am so sorry that you are struggling with this pressure sore and those nasty antibiotics. You should be proud of yourself and for your exemplary composure and communication skills, so much so that you have become the "our rainbow in the clouds." Your communication style allows the release of pain, anxiety and stress from your body to help you to heel. Thanks for being right here with me, I am always there for you as well-I am a night owl too-thats when I get my best meditation done and gain control of my emotions. Stay strong, your wisdom is your greatest weapon in combating the mental anguish (I have found that to be true) that you face. Hang tight Eirin, I see much better days on the horizon for you friend. Be well. 🙏
Eirin, Thank you for sharing yourself with the world. Your video touched my heart and reminded me we are none of us alone. Your words about becoming alchemists and transforming suffering into something useful helped me greatly.
We need souls like you filled with kindness compassion and love, the very qualities we forget as life gets going. Those are Godly qualities, your purpose while something you can see or hear about ie superstar, president of whatever…is to make us whatever we are dealing with… to be grateful and find beauty every where❤ Dear woman you are an inspiration. God bless and cover you !
I feel you were speaking directly to me in those last few sentences. Thank you for always lifting our spirits, especially when you are struggling yourself. That is a very special gift 🇮🇪
Thank you for your honesty, my prayers are with you for healing. My late husband was a quadraplegic incomplete, which ment he could use his right arm, for which is rare. He was a true Blessing in my life for 6 years. God brought us full circle as Charlie and i met in our 20's( he had been in a motorcycle accedent at age 18. )Am 67 now, he died entering into eternal rest 2 years ago come July. So i do understand what you are going through , remember when God brings you to it, he will get you through it. Am Glad that you have him, Blessings to you and your Loved ones.
You are a gift of light and joy even when talking through your bad day❤. Your book will be amazing and engaging just as you are! I just want to thank you for sharing your story and thoughts with us all! May the Lord lift your spirits and heal you to get back into your chair! Praying for you!❤
I just came out of feeling like that. It started when I got sick, and lasted two weeks. Every night before I prayed and asked “please give me my energy back.” I had no desire to even do household chores and I couldn’t bring myself to do anything but sit on the couch with my phone. Finally about three days ago it went away. Hang in there, I KNOW you are going to start feeling better soon. ❤
Your video truly resonated with me. I'm disabled from a spine/cord injury and have excrutiating radiculopathy from damaged nerves, keloid scar tissue from many surgeries and adhesions to the nerve roots in my spine. I totally understand having a horrible, terrible, no good, very bad days. I too have been experiencing rotten nausea and vomiting from my medications, I'm assuming since every test I've had shows no other explanation. I've spent a lot of time in bed and by myself (I'm a single mom to a 23yo daughter who's moved back home to save some money). When you spoke about us having bad days and feeling alone, you mentioned that you are here for us. Well, I simply wanted to say that we too are here for you. Don't hesitate to post these videos if you aren't feeling 100% cheerful, grateful and inspiring. It's nice to know that we aren't the only ones that feel this way. Mostly, it's important for YOU to know that WE are here for YOU too! Here's hoping you have more good days than hard ones. Take care of yourself and good luck getting your book written. I'll look forward to the day I can buy a (autographed? haha) copy. Blessings to you, Heather🇨🇦
My dearest Eirin, I’m so sorry that your last couple of months have been so frustrating, and painful. Nothing is worse when it just feels like the rain clouds won’t part,to give way to the sun. I am praying for healing and strength for you. I have had a very hard past seven years. I know that it is no comparison to you and your experiences. I truly feel like GOD brought you in my life for a reason. I’m tired of being tired. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts. Thank you for your time and your vlog ❤️
The first time I listened to your story, I thought you should be a writer. God has given you a wonderful talent. You have a way of reaching people in a way so few people can do. I believe you are going to do some amazing things with you gift. Thank you for being YOU!
I’m praying for you. God has a plan for you so I hope you will continue with your inspirational videos and write your book. You’re being real, raw and true to who you are, this gives hope and peace. Thank you…
Every video of yours that I watch I feel compelled to write these words from a movie (I can’t remember the name of it but it was from a father to his deaf son): “Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl” You absolutely amaze me! And I’m hard to amaze. I’m sure you will write your book and it will be a best seller; but I want to tell you this “What you are hoping to achieve by writing this book, you have already achieved by your very presence and spirit here on your RUclips channel. My heart fills with love and gratitude towards you and your beauty, you are here to teach us all humility and grace. Sleep well and I surely hope your days become better soon.
I hope you're feeling better now. I felt your anguish and how difficult it is for you to go through daily life struggles on a magnitude level far above what I have ever experienced. Prayers for the little victories you go through daily and extra prayers for strength for you and your loving, supportive family. Your light shines so bright and your story and struggles are very inspirational. XO
Hi Eirin, I hardly ever go on RUclips. A friend of mine rang me up and suggested I watch Gwynth Paltrows court case. I watched her take the stand, and then I watched a few more very sad videos, which had me in tears. Then I came across yours. This was 2 days ago. It's now Sunday, 26th March. Oh my goodness, you had me in more tears. I am 54, and I have mild celebral palsy. For the last 10 years, I've been mostly housebound. Walking has always been difficult, and I was also born with a left club food. The reason things went downhill is osteoarthritis in my knees. I had one knee replacement, but that only took the terrible pain away. I can't bend it. Now my other knee has gone. I put on loads of weight through depression. I need to lose 3 stone now before my surgeon replaces the other knee. I've felt suicidal for a long time. I, too, have wanted to write a book. When I came across your videos, I can relate to just how you feel. Thank you for making the videos and making me feel that I'm not rowing this boat alone. I'm sending you lots of love. Your husband is absolutely lovely and your cat, too. I bet your mum, too, has her own story. Nobody wants their child to go through what you have. I'm sure she's done a lot of crying alone. I'm a Welsh lady from Bridgend South Wales, UK, and we do talk a lot, lol. Bye for now, you beautiful person/soul. Get that book written. I can't wait to read it. Xxxxx
Thank you so much for sharing your story and your light; we need it 💖✨ I’m so thankful you’re here 🥰❤️😍 I am sending you my love and my light; and I really want for you to get through this painful situation - physically and mentally 🫶🤍 Take care of yourself, sweetness; you deserve it ❤️
What a fabulous goal! Definitely you should write a book. Your life story would be so inspiring to others and after listening to you bear your soul I’m sure your book will be emotional, heartbreaking, empathetic, joyful, a story of hope. It would be the story of a survivor! ❤
Thank you for making your videos and for sharing your heart. God has gifted you, Eirin. It's not because your paralyzed, it's because you were created to speak to hearts in a way that is rare. Your words apply to so many of us. My physical limitations from Rheumatoid pale in comparison to you, but our heart and feelings are the same. This is why you are a powerful encourager, motivator and inspiration to anyone who listens to your heart. Your book will be amazing. You have the gift of telling a story and do it in a way that gently takes us with you on the journey. I needed to hear your words today. Thank you. I'm so glad I "met" you today.....
@@mihe6212 It is truly unfortunate that you feel the need to express what you did here. My hope is that someone shows you love and kindness and respect so that your heart can maybe see how comments like this do nothing for you, this youtube channel or society as a whole. God gave you an amazing mind and heart....use it to affect people in a positive way. Just my 3 cents!
@@mihe6212 Feeling great and believing God for great things and grateful for what He has done in my life. He is so good and loves you more than you know!
@@mihe6212 God is not a puppet master who dictates all the movements of the world and its inhabitants. He gave us incredible minds and hearts to be His hands and feet and to take care of each other. Unfortunately, very few people act on what breaks their heart. I have seen poverty and people unable to get medical care because they lived in a country where doctors were unreachable. I have had the privilege of going to third world countries with a medical team and caring for these beautiful people. Let what you see encourage you to change what you can for someone who is hurting or hungry. Can you imagine how incredible it would be if we all did that for our communities. I'm not replying to argue at all. You are absolutely entitled to feel the way you do and to express your beliefs. I would encourage you to express your ideas in a way that would not turn folks off or belittle them. You want people to listen?.....be kind to people and communicate in a way that is respectful. I have nothing but love and hope for you and that you are surrounded by goodness. Take care, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to communicate with you.
I am sorry you are having a bad day,I wish I could take the pain away. I hope you have better days ahead. I like you want to talk about what happen to you. And I know you are a inspiration to many including me. You have a great day!
You are such a beautiful soul. Sending you lots of love, I hope you are done with this antibiotic soon and you feel better quickly. On another note, if you write a book I will do but it and read it! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wish I could take away your pain too. You are so selfless. Every video of yours I watch I've felt the same way you describe. You have a way with people. We relate to all you say and it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one thinking this or that way. Blessings to you honey. I'm wishing and sending you abundant blessings. God makes such beautiful people. I'm so thankful and grateful he made you.
I’m glad to hear you talk about your discovery. I think you have an amazing talent as a wordsmith too, so writing/storytelling seems a wonderful fit. Believe in yourself and your artistry… I look forward to following your channel.
I know it's worse for you oh my God I hear you with the antibiotics. I just got over pneumonia I had for a month-and-a-half and the antibiotics made me so dizzy tired and sick to my stomach I think it's good when we can all share feelings thanks for sharing yours you really help a lot of people
Erin, Hi there I know this video is 3 weeks old but just today just now I was watching videos on RUclips and you came up on my feed. And I thought to myself, oh who is this and I saw that you were quadriplegic. And I didn't want to hear how you became quadriplegic because I watch a couple of channels of couples where one is abled and the other is disabled and they are interabled couples. They are amazing simply amazing and I don't know if you've ever heard of 'Roll with Cole and Charisma' but they're an amazing couple so genuine and loving and it's just amazing to see how Cole is doing after such a tragic accident in a body of water. I want to say thank you so much for keeping it real. please please stay authentic stay true and transparent to the reality of what you go through on a daily basis or whenever you make a video. There are too many phony people on the internet as you know I'm sure. To finally hear a voice that wants to share the pain and how you get through a painful day is so so important and is so needed. I have chronic illnesses and also physical disabilities so most of the time I'm in my bed and that's been for years and years. I have a service dog who is my best friend and I live in a motorhome so I am isolated very very isolated. I do have an Helper that comes and helps me a few days a week and that's really helpful for me. But I want to say I really related when you said it's hard to be grateful when you really just want to die and there's nothing that makes you feel very grateful because you're in so much pain and things are so dark and there's so I don't know the word you know just there's so much dread to just staying alive another day. I totally get it I totally understand that feeling. I have something called complex PTSD and severe depression so I understand very much what it's like for me to want to find the things that I'm blessed about and it's hard when I'm in severe pain and kind of wish that it would just all be over. So I'm so glad I found your channel thank you so much. keep it up keep sharing what your reality is because you have no idea how people want to hear what you have to say. Bless you I hope today you're feeling better and you're having an okay day and I hope your bed sores are getting or pressure sores as you said are feeling better for you. Thanks again
Thank you for being here and blessing me with your light ✨💖 My heart goes out to you, and you will now be in my thoughts and prayers ❤️ I reciprocate all the well-wishes and hope for good moments for you 🥰
Kavita I have cPTSD also and I felt Eirin described so many emotional details of trauma so well - I haven’t experienced that in other videos/interviews with people with physical challenges/injuries. Sounds like maybe you felt she did too? As painful as it is and while I wish us more comfort and less isolation I am glad you spoke up here.
You are such a ray of sunshine! I have just had artificial discs put into my spine and had a spinal stimulator removed. I am slowly recovering and I am grateful for finding you, you made me appreciate everything I can do. Lots of love, hugs and prayers coming your way daily! XO Lisa
How are you doing over two months later now? I know it can take some time to heal. I almost got 1-2 artificial discs back in 2004, but the doctors decided to do a double fusion instead, leaving a healthy disc in the middle. Artificial discs were rather new at the time if I recall correctly. Anyways, my surgery was a terrible disaster and disabled me. I have tried everything under the sun for pain management, including a spinal cord stimulator trial, but it didn’t do anything to help me at all. Pain management doctors were trying to get me to try it again a year or two ago, but I am just really over being let down when everything I try doesn’t help (and it really doesn’t help when they are very financially motivated, pushing it on me because they make a lot of money by installing them... giving me all sorts of nonsense success story percentages to convince me). I have read that the real statistics are nearly 50% of back surgeries aren’t successful - which includes a ridiculous amount of patients that are left in debilitating chronic pain, and trying “fix” things by more surgery just makes things even worse. I hope that you had the opposite experience to me, and are doing really well right now!
I watched your story and without sounding too patronizing, you are amazing and someone I follow and pray for. We are from different worlds I'm 63 and morbidly obese I gave up trying to lose weight after the gastric sleeve surgery failed (long story ) my husband died I got breast cancer and then my youngest son was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. I simply gave up life was too hard I climbed into bed and I didn't get back up unless I had too and I had to because I'm the only one who drives. Anyhow, my muscles got weak and I already had osteoarthritis and I needed knee replacements and on and on. So staying in bed just made it all worse and I am losing ability to walk. I don't know what changed I asked my doctor for a sub to get a wheelchair, he wanted me to try one more thing, physical therapy. Well I wasn't happy with that but I agreed if I go to physical therapy and at least try then he would help me get a wheelchair. The first evaluation almost made me to want to walk out the door. They put me with a no nonsense very blunt therapist. She listened to my story it's not that she wasn't sympathetic it's just that she didn't care about how I gotto this point , her focus was on helping me walk again. And I said are you sure I'll be able to do it, she said THAT was up to me. So I start physical therapy twice a week the exercises they gave me are terribly painful I only take acetominaphin for pain. And now cold and hot compresses. And after listening to you the same day I came back from my first session, in tears feeling so sorry for myself...I somehow (God above) came across your story. I just want you to know how much you helped an old lady snap outif her pity party And every step I take and pound I lose I'll be saying this is for that brave sweet girl. And I believe in miracles. Still you are young and beautiful and very smart. If you want a online Grandma to talk to, I'll be here for you Maybe we can help each other. What are your plans for your future? It's ok to feel down sometimes, that gives you something to measure your happiness by.☺️
Thank you for sharing your light! ✨ What an excellent effort you made! Pity parties can happen to us all, but remember to acknowledge your progression as well - I’m rooting for you! ❤️❤️
I'm no spring chicken ....I've been in this world for 46 years for 35 of those years life was soooooo hard!! I've survived addiction, being homeless 3 times, and at one point in my life I was 28 and clinically depressed! I too lost my father at an early age (it was sudden....gone in the blink of an eye) his death put me in a very dark place! I was in so much emotional pain.....I felt it physically 😢 For me I loved pity parties .....it allowed me to stay in the emotion and "the world wronged me" or "took something from me" Today after taking a hard look in the mirror I realized I HAD TO LIVE! Drugs wasn't taking me to my dad ....I hoped every night that I just wouldn't wake up....I just had to lay my dad to rest once and for all so I could live! I did that and my world began to SLOWLY get better! It's still painful but I can now reflect without the overwhelming guilt and regret! What I had learned in this life is that all the bad things that happen are in preparation for the good parts! Imagine how great life could be when you've experienced all the bad.....it makes me so grateful each and every day! Some days I'm grateful that I woke up and have another opportunity to learn more lessons ....most importantly to make today better than yesterday 💌
Bad days are so awful. I actively try to count my blessings during hard times. It is sure not easy. Thank you for sharing your experience. You are never alone.
New subscriber from Australia 😃 What you said about being an alchemist and turning something bad into something precious is beautiful and moved me Write your book, you have a way with words xo P.S. I really like Brittany Vassuer too!
I hope you know that it is OK to have bad days, experiences and to get pissed/upset. I think when we acknowledge the negative we can more likely find our way out of it. I don't mean to sound flippant in anything I say. I have no idea what it would be like to be in your situation. As you tell us we are not alone, you are not alone either. We are here for you as well and we appreciate you sharing your journey with us.
Your so precious! I know this is from December but I’m just seeing it today 2/22/23. I’ve cried all morning, my neuropathy is just really hurting. Sometimes so much that I can’t eat I feel like throwing up from the pain like you do! Your going to be able to sit up soon. Your sore is healing right now!! You are so uplifting!! Who is the author?? Your so fortunate to still have your mother with you through this part of your life!❤❤❤❤ xxoo
Trying to remain positive and grateful when going through such storms and struggles, daily, monthly, yearly, is such an energy drain. And it makes you (me!) feel even sh*tter, TBH. Like we somehow need to remain grateful for what we DO have instead of focusing on what we don't, makes us ungrateful. This past week I've been mulling this over more than usual, as I am sick of beating myself up for my mood swings that land me in an angry, bitter, pity party. And whilst staying long term in this state of mind, will only make us feel worse, finding it difficult to be grateful (whilst knowing that it could 'always be worse,' is really REALLY valid. And doesn't' make us ungrateful beings. Just human. Pain is pain, and suffering is suffering, and when, as you say, some of just do get handed one sh*t deal after another, we have every right to recognize that and cry about it. But, as the saying goes, it's not about how many times we fall down, what counts is the getting back up. The keeping going. The balancing as best we can through the darkest times that seem to have no end. It is good to know we are not alone. I am not paralyzed, however I do have a neurological illness that has given me great pain, fatigue and a whole myriad of symptoms over the past 10yrs now, resulting in becoming almost completely bed bound 5yrs ago for almost 2 yrs, and I'm still almost completely housebound 5 yrs later. I have NO idea how it must feel to have gone through, and be going through what you have and do go through, daily. I just know the bad days, weeks, months, are just a massive struggle. Huge. You are SUCH a sweet girl. I would LOVE to read your book. I truly believe that you will have a big impact on many people's lives. Probably more than you could know. Often, more often that not, we don''t know if we have fulfilled our purpose, a lot of the time we have no idea what that may be! But I believe in God, and HE knows what that purpose is. And he has one for each and every one of us. Anyway, blabbering now. Praying you begin to feel better after this latest spell of being forced to lie down. Thinking of you, Eirin.
I just found your You Tube channel Eirin and found these videos very compelling and inspiring. You should be proud of taking this first step and bringing your viewers along weigh you on the journey. I also want to encourage you to write about your life and whatever inspires you to write. Your amazing command of the English language is something that would make that much easier to take on. Your videos probably popped up for me as I, too, follow Squirmy and Grubbs. They are inspiring as well. I have not experienced the kind of thing that you have in your life - but I think your life lessons apply to all of us. You have a gift of helping all of us learn how to live our best lives. Looking forward to your upcoming videos.
If you do write a book, it will be enriching &, I think, it would also affirm those of us that feel maybe we're somehow ' deficient ' for want of a better word 💖
My kids just LOVE the book 📚 "Alexander and the no good, horrible, very bad day...." It has shown us over the years..... life can be hard, and then it can get worse.... You just want to "move to Australia!" 🙂 Gratitude. Not long ago, our life kept getting worse and we ended up homeless with three children. We had a tent though... Then came a huge windstorm, everything was blown around and we were exposed to the Alaskan elements. It was so hard. You cannot ask why, I just ask for more grace and the strength for the next moment... we found praise in the darkness and hope. But gosh! Sometimes you do just want to "move to Australia". Blessings and love from a new friend.
You reminded me of a great question for a future Q & A because you just mentioned a children’s book, totally different but did you ever read the children’s book called “Number the Stars”? In my late 30’s - i was trying to finish my bachelor’s degree later in life and took a children’s literature class as an elective… and I was assigned to read that book and I loved it… what are some of your favorite books?
Thank you for sharing your story, I love watching your videos. How many kids do you have? Could you explain I am dealing with some autoimmune disorders and I have two kids and I love hearing how people manage their kids when they have a hard time managing themselves.
Can you get a wound vac? They help to heal the wound and you can still put pressure against the area. You still have to do pressure releases every 15 minutes but the wound vac and increased protein will help heal it faster
@@eirinceciliegjedrem prayers! It will change your healing. If you can get Juven protein powder in Norway, it will also help. I think we did 2 packets a day for my father in law. He HATED it but it did help. Saying prayers for you!
thank you for this video. even the most upbeat courageous person has bad days. long term disability, neurological pain, intense emotions, are a real challenge. a false face and false words are a detriment however real honest sharing such as yours is of great value- your experiences and wisdom. you are not alone, we are not alone. youtube videos available to view at all hours- perfect for night owls- has countless channels by spiritual inspirational people. positive message music and lyrics permeate the heart and soul. poems. prayers. psalms. on those terrible horrible, really bad days and nights- in those way down deep in a well dark days may we all remember that the world (life) is a narrow bridge and the main thing is inot to fear. " kol ha olam kulo gesher tzar me'od veha' ikar lo lifached k'lal". the melody and lyrics are on youtube. your book will be a gift to others and yourself.
❤ i am sending you my love and admiration. very nice thing to do: write tree good things in your life that is happening. i would like to suggest another thing to you if i may: binoculars for watching the sky if you like! thank you always! 🤚👊🌠
Hi beautiful souls! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful comments - I truly appreciate them ❤️ I try to read and answer as many as possible, and know that I’m just so thankful that you take from your valuable time to do so ❤️ Love & light!
Some days just ‘suck’ I use the term ‘today should have be cancelled’ love from New Zealand xoxo
Love you! I struggle with my mental health and you are my hero!
You just totally made my day, Eirin!❤️🫶🏻👊🏻 Hope you and your whole family are great!🫶🏻❤️😃
God brought me to your videos today.
Dear Mandi ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your story - I feel for you so much 🥺🤍
Your pain and struggles are no less than mine and I share in your pain - even with questioning life.
I had a small stroke due to a brain hemorrhage on the 1st of December, 2021. It was in the area of my sight, so I lost half of my sight for some time. I’m much better now, but I still struggle with permanent issues. I wish I could take away your pain.
I feel so blessed you’re here and sharing your light with me and with us 🌎✨💖
❤
For most of us there is someone who is worse off than we are ourselves. I can not fathom what you have gone through and are going through. So please don't think I am being flippant about your situation. Take stock of everything you are able to do for yourself or with a little help and praise yourself for doing those things. Maybe look to things and people that can or do give you purpose and a reason to go on. Whoever you are, you are wonderful and awesome and the world is a better place with you in it. Take care of yourself.
Praying for you friend 🙏
Mandi, my heart, my prayers my love to you❤

What a coincidence for me. I just watched your "My Accident, how I became a quadriplegic" and was going to respond to you that you are an amazing and beautiful storyteller. You have a knack for taking the viewer to the very place that you are. Your situation is tragic and life altering but you are able to transport us from tearful sadness to joyous laughter or at least smiling. Thank you for telling your stories and for helping so many with your courage, strength and endurance. Please write your book. I want to read it.
Thank you so much! I That makes me feel so grateful ❤️ I appreciate your kind words and I’m thankful you’re here ✨
I definitely will 📝😃
I would read that Book!
I truly appreciate that ❤️ So thankful you’re here 🥰
You are a blessing and a gift! The way you have with words is so lovely. God bless your beautiful soul!
You just warm my heart, Eirin! Blessings.
Thank you for being so real.
Really appreciate your honesty & transparency.
Praying for you & your family & friends.x
Thank you for your honesty. Bad days are so difficult ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️ I’m so happy you’re here 💖✨
I stumbled on your video I'd say by accident but I don't believe things happen on accident.
Thank you so much for your kind and wonderful words ❤️🥰
💜💜
Thank you for your amazing positivity despite such difficult circumstances. You’re such a beautiful person. Your writing will be wonderful to read. Sending very best wishes recovering from the bad infection you’ve been treated for over the last month.❤🌹🌸🙏
❤️
I am a fan. ❤❤
I look forward to your book!

We all need to learn to welcome bad days. So true. Thanks for teaching me that. ❤

Thank you Eirin for making this video. I sometimes suffer from depression and have recently started a gratitude journal. I like to go over my entries a few times a week to keep my spirit up. I appreciate your transparency! I hope you are feeling better soon friend ❤

Thank you sweet girl, thank you so much...
Posting is a good distraction. It also helps us to be a part of life.
Your voice................. you have a very calming manner.
Thank you and bless you 🤍✨🕊️🙏
Hello, beautiful soul, Norwegian angel. So impressed by your courage to reach out in this way. Maybe you have some Viking in you. 🙂 🗡
Yes, you definitely have the gift of story-telling, and I look forward to hearing more about your writing. Speaking of, your command of the English language is really impressive, seriously. Better than many Americans, I must say. Are you both self-taught and also learned it at school? Maybe add that to your next Q&A if you haven't done so already?
Thank you very much for sharing, my dear. Your friend in Chicago sending you best wishes.❤

You are such a dear for wanting to help others, even when you feel bad yourself. You’re a blessing from God. ❤
Thank you for sharing💕
Your explanations of gratitude has been really helpful. Sending you my energy ❤. By the way, you explain and describe amazingly well. Can’t wait to read your book in the future. Hug from Spain.
Thank you! 🥰

Thank you so much! 🥰
Erin you truly are an angel a gentle soul so patient courageous and you have perseverance all the virtues from God
thank you for your videos Eirin...u r very inspiring
Be well. 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing and for your loving words! I’m so happy you’re here 🥰❤️😍
That's so lush, Kim. Xx
❤
I'll so look forward to reading your book when finished. Mix in the funny parts too even if they sound a little dark!
Eirin, Thank you for sharing yourself with the world. Your video touched my heart and reminded me we are none of us alone. Your words about becoming alchemists and transforming suffering into something useful helped me greatly.
💖✨
We need souls like you filled with kindness compassion and love, the very qualities we forget as life gets going. Those are Godly qualities, your purpose while something you can see or hear about ie superstar, president of whatever…is to make us whatever we are dealing with… to be grateful and find beauty every where❤ Dear woman you are an inspiration. God bless and cover you !

I feel you were speaking directly to me in those last few sentences. Thank you for always lifting our spirits, especially when you are struggling yourself. That is a very special gift 🇮🇪
Thank you, too ❤️❤️
Thank you for your honesty, my prayers are with you for healing.
Bless you 🤍✨🕊️
You are a gift of light and joy even when talking through your bad day❤. Your book will be amazing and engaging just as you are! I just want to thank you for sharing your story and thoughts with us all! May the Lord lift your spirits and heal you to get back into your chair! Praying for you!❤
🤍✨🕊️🙏
I'll look forward to the day I can buy a (autographed? haha) copy.
Blessings to you,
Heather🇨🇦
Thank you so much, Heather, for sharing your story and for your comforting words ❤️

🙏❤️
I’m praying for you. God has a plan for you so I hope you will continue with your inspirational videos and write your book. You’re being real, raw and true to who you are, this gives hope and peace. Thank you…
Every video of yours that I watch I feel compelled to write these words from a movie (I can’t remember the name of it but it was from a father to his deaf son): “Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl”
You absolutely amaze me!
Thank you for your uplifting words; they mean so much! ❤️
Xxxxx
Thank you so much for sharing your story and your light; we need it 💖✨
I’m so thankful you’re here 🥰❤️😍
I am sending you my love and my light; and I really want for you to get through this painful situation - physically and mentally 🫶🤍
Take care of yourself, sweetness; you deserve it ❤️
Struggling today and watching this while walking the dog… so helpful ❤
What a fabulous goal! Definitely you should write a book. Your life story would be so inspiring to others and after listening to you bear your soul I’m sure your book will be emotional, heartbreaking, empathetic, joyful, a story of hope. It would be the story of a survivor! ❤
You're wise and beautiful. We're here for you 🙏🏻
I’ve subscribed, because you’ve inspired me so much just watching three of your videos. I wish you the best with your book.
Thank you so much 🙏❤️
@@mihe6212 It is truly unfortunate that you feel the need to express what you did here.

I’m glad to hear you talk about your discovery. I think you have an amazing talent as a wordsmith too, so writing/storytelling seems a wonderful fit. Believe in yourself and your artistry… I look forward to following your channel.
Love your truth ❤ wishing you the best from Wyoming USA

XO Lisa
Bless you 🤍✨🕊️🙏 I pray for your recovery 💖
I just want you to know how much you helped an old lady snap outif her pity party
And every step I take and pound I lose I'll be saying this is for that brave sweet girl.
And I believe in miracles. Still you are young and beautiful and very smart.
If you want a online Grandma to talk to, I'll be here for you
Maybe we can help each other.
@@eirinceciliegjedrem God bless thank you so much!! 😊rooting for you too 🤜🤛💜
I'm no spring chicken ....I've been in this world for 46 years for 35 of those years life was soooooo hard!! I've survived addiction, being homeless 3 times, and at one point in my life I was 28 and clinically depressed! I too lost my father at an early age (it was sudden....gone in the blink of an eye) his death put me in a very dark place! I was in so much emotional pain.....I felt it physically 😢 For me I loved pity parties .....it allowed me to stay in the emotion and "the world wronged me" or "took something from me"
Today after taking a hard look in the mirror I realized I HAD TO LIVE!
Thank you so much for sharing your story and your light; you are beautiful 💖 My heart goes out to you and thank you for inspiring me ❤️
@@eirinceciliegjedrem I guess we inspire each other! 🥰🥰
💚💚
Bad days are so awful. I actively try to count my blessings during hard times. It is sure not easy. Thank you for sharing your experience. You are never alone.
Likewise 🙏🏻❤️
Connect with Cole and Charisma....Cole is a quad as well. Write that book, you have an unique gift.
New subscriber from Australia 😃
What you said about being an alchemist and turning something bad into something precious is beautiful and moved me
Write your book, you have a way with words xo
P.S. I really like Brittany Vassuer too!
Hello and welcome! I appreciate your kind words and I’m thankful you’re here! 💖😃
Thank you ❤️
I just wanted to tell you that I have just finished my first novel. 92,000 words! I can't wait to read yours. Keep your heart up and keep going! 🤠
Well done! 👏🤩
Eirin, please try to take antibiotics on a full stomach or they very much cause severe nausea. Abundant Blessings ✝️♥️

Thank you so much and well said! ✨💖 Thank you for sharing your light and for inspiring me! 🤍✨🕊️

Sorry my comment was so long, btw! Lol! 🤦♀️
Much love.
Thank you for your wonderful words - I truly appreciate them ❤️
If you do write a book, it will be enriching &, I think, it would also affirm those of us that feel maybe we're somehow ' deficient ' for want of a better word 💖
💖✨
Thank you Eirin.
My kids just LOVE the book 📚 "Alexander and the no good, horrible, very bad day...."
It has shown us over the years..... life can be hard, and then it can get worse....
You just want to "move to Australia!" 🙂
Gratitude.
Not long ago, our life kept getting worse and we ended up homeless with three children. We had a tent though... Then came a huge windstorm, everything was blown around and we were exposed to the Alaskan elements.
It was so hard.
You cannot ask why,
I just ask for more grace and the strength for the next moment... we found praise in the darkness and hope.
But gosh! Sometimes you do just want to "move to Australia".
Blessings and love from a new friend.
Thank you for sharing your strong and beautiful light ✨💖
You reminded me of a great question for a future Q & A because you just mentioned a children’s book, totally different but did you ever read the children’s book called “Number the Stars”? In my late 30’s - i was trying to finish my bachelor’s degree later in life and took a children’s literature class as an elective… and I was assigned to read that book and I loved it… what are some of your favorite books?
That’s an unfamiliar book to me 💖 I like many different ones, but one that’s really feel-good and funny; is «Hyperbole and a Half» 😃
Thank you for sharing your story, I love watching your videos. How many kids do you have? Could you explain I am dealing with some autoimmune disorders and I have two kids and I love hearing how people manage their kids when they have a hard time managing themselves.
Thank you for watching and for being here ❤️ I appreciate your question and have noted them for my Q&A 🥰
Get that book started I have an idea a lot of people will buy it
Can you get a wound vac? They help to heal the wound and you can still put pressure against the area. You still have to do pressure releases every 15 minutes but the wound vac and increased protein will help heal it faster
They tried in December ‘22, unsuccessful as it wouldn’t seal properly - they’re trying again on March 7th, so arms crossed that’ll work 🙂
@@eirinceciliegjedrem prayers! It will change your healing. If you can get Juven protein powder in Norway, it will also help. I think we did 2 packets a day for my father in law. He HATED it but it did help. Saying prayers for you!
thank you for this video. even the most upbeat courageous person has bad days. long term disability, neurological pain, intense emotions, are a real challenge. a false face and false words are a detriment however real honest sharing such as yours is of great value- your experiences and wisdom. you are not alone, we are not alone. youtube videos available to view at all hours- perfect for night owls- has countless channels by spiritual inspirational people. positive message music and lyrics permeate the heart and soul. poems. prayers. psalms. on those terrible horrible, really bad days and nights-
in those way down deep in a well dark days may we all remember that the world (life) is a narrow bridge and the main thing is inot to fear. " kol ha olam kulo gesher tzar me'od veha' ikar lo lifached k'lal". the melody and lyrics are on youtube. your book will be a gift to others and yourself.
Thank you for your wonderful thoughts ❤️

I have no words because your sincere heart shows through. Thank you so very much
