Mountaineering is risky sport, and avalanche is natural calamity like earthquake or flood. It's not in the control of institution. Also two instructors died and those who came down saved life of few students. I have done my courses in NIM and institute conducts all the courses very safe.
Yes the management may be chaotic now but rescue at 5400 metres is difficult.
Prayers are with everyone who are yet not found.

I agree...I am also an alumni of NIM and I know the safety and precautions taken by institute, instructors and other support staff too... it's heartbreaking to see my institute in questionable situation unnecessary...it's a natural calamity and I am 100% sure institute is taking every effort to rescue the stuck trainees... prayers for all to be safe 🙏🙏 please do not do politics over it media . 🙏

The reality is that ,they do not have the updated equipments , when they knew that the weather had an update of alert for 1 week why did the summit got carried on ! My friend is missing and i know how much he has done to make it till here ! Also to the administration and the politicians ,nothing you could do by tweeting your deep condolences ! You cannot bring the lives of those dead mountaineers

the problem with keyboard warriors like you is that you only know how to run your mouth and fingers without having a zilch of knowledge about what and who you are talking about...... IT is NIM.... all types of precautions are taken into account before taking a single step there..... there are literally the most seasoned, skilled and experienced climbers who are appointed there as the instructors..... nobody can outrun nature..... it's neither the fault of instructors nor the institute.

Well I have my full senses on plate. And am very well aware of what place we have got mentioned here! My friend's body got found yesterday while it
was left in the base camp and after 4 days it was brought down and in that also they misplaced the name in identification,is that a joke ? thanks to the management that they made their families worried over these all fucking hours ! And the problem with you guys is that you expect the tendency of place will remain the same as it was earlier but no seriously this has not ever happened before. They are skilled and well trained but somewhere the negligence was there. Putting up no blame game the people waiting over there for the bodies of their family members have observed the administration of the place we have heard on the phone how bad were they while attending people, i guess and they very well have explained that the system hasn't been cooperative in these 5 days! Still we have lost dozens of life which is not a joke !

@@priyabora8236 lol.... You talking like getting people out of a giant ass crevasse is a child's play.... Again stop being a keyboard warrior and put yourself in their place. Continuous rescue work is going on. There is a process for everything you just can't act like a Buffon and expect to bypass that process. And let me tell you miss I KNOW NOTHING BUT STILL BARK that an avalanche is not controlled or contained by anything or anyone..... It just happens...... Negligence you say right???? Tell me....what negligence do you see here from institute's instructors??? Stop acting like a fool.... Experience things and high altitude for yourself and then talk.

@@priyabora8236 and as you yourself said that it's happening for the very first time then how do you expect the authorities to handle it without any delays....... Mountains are not your daddy's backyard...... Rescue needs time.... And as the bodies were being recovered the parents were informed side by side..... How do you expect the administration to tell the family members that their son/daughter has died without finding the body and ensuring the preliminary examination????? Stop riding like a maniac and learn to hold your horses.

I doubt if ALH is a most suitable helicopter for this type of rescue operation. Why is the helicopter not able to reach the site of avalanche? Is there no other helicopter which can fly and rescue in the heavy rain and snowfall hours? If yes, then why are they not assigned this task? ABP NEWS: Plz do a research on this!

Also, the ones rescued can be the ones to give best clues about where should the others be trapped. As they know the present landscape better than anyone else who has seen that place long ago, as the landscape keeps on changing with snow levels.
They should be asked to help the army by riding on the helicopter and pointing out at probable crevasses. They know the place's current shape better than the army personnel.
