Post 10 goes out unclogging drains while it's raining, cold and tons of snow on the ground. Man you are dedicated to the job which is highly appreciated by us.
he said it was like 60 degrees out there and raining which for some people is probably cold yes but where i am it is -21 degrees outside (usually when there is snow on ground and when the rain is cold which probably make it like 20-50 degrees out depending on the coldness of the rain) but ya props to this man he does a really good job at making places not flood themselves
Never mind the kind words, some municipal official should put this guy in a position where he's paid for his work. The taxpayers would get their money's worth for a change. It would also be hard for the other guys in the crew to be sleeping in the pickup truck with the heat on while the supervisor is working.
@@mikemurphy5773 as true as your statement is it just wouldn’t work, post has a work ethic that just doesn’t fit in with others, they would use his work ethic against him and make him do everything and poor post would just do it because thats who he is, he would either have to be a one man crew or find someone that enjoys it as much as he does to work with
This guy is the best. I am totally the same and could do this for hours. I’m just not brave enough to just go do it all in like him. Keep it up. Always thought I was the weird one for being like this. Now I see we are all weirdos.

Your video reminds me of my first teaching job at an old school in Toronto in the early seventies. Since it was a city school we had no grass in the playground just large area of asphalt. After a large snowfall we had a quick thaw and the whole yard was flooded with about 6 inches of water. There was a drain in the middle of the yard but it was clogged by ice just below the grate. I asked one of my students to go to my room and get a long wooden pole that we used to raise the windows. I used the pole to poke a hole through the ice jam and in about ten minutes the whole yard looked like a river delta
All you'd need is Post 10 and Chuck Norris. It would go something like this. Lure the zombies, clear the clog, zombies get sucked through culvert, any that don't get sucked through get roundhouse kicked into the year 2395, end of apocalypse.
Seems April enjoyed it. One time it snowed so much our dog wouldn't go off the cement slab to do his business. Even then it was rather precarious. 😳😅😂🤣🤭💩
Another fantastic job and I do agree that the snow and slush looks fun, which I enjoy as well. And I enjoy your videos you do you are amazing. From mandy from the UK.
You do a great job and I am impressed with your determination. Please consider doing an "establishing shot" which would be a wide shot of the area you are working on so the viewer has an idea of the scope of what you are doing. The closeups are great as you work but please consider an explanation in the beginning with a very wide shot of the entire are affected. Thank you and keep up the good work. Also, great job on the TV news interview.
sir... at around 10 minutes the care with which you moved the snow and soil out of the garden culvert..... its not often we get to see your hands at work and i just melted. everything about your body language screams that you find meaning and satisfaction in this. thank you for making the world a better place.
This was surprising informative for me. Having lived in Florida since before I can remember, it honestly never occoured to me that melting snow would be such a mess to deal with.
Did this as a kid in a small town. I had to stop messing with the ditches after contracting painful worm parasites from the water. But I still cleaned drains in paved areas on my walks. You are amazing. Thank you for doing this without expecting anything in return.
Good stuff! Remember to protect your back when lifting that heavy slush. Keep a straight, neutral back, and hinge forward with your hips. We need you clearing drains for a long time man.
People of all areas in the north midwest and northeast don't really realize how important it is to have drains open when things start to thaw even if it is a midwinter thaw. The drainage of open drainage areas really helps to keep things safer. Thanks post 10 for doing this in your area
I love your videos :) Keep them coming. On your comment regarding the use of the left side of the fire hydrant... They'd throw a "gated wye" on that and you'd be able to draw from that side no problem. I don't like how close that electrical box is either, but to be fair, it wouldn't stop a fire department from using it.
Working at a ski hill I did the same thing keeping the drains open in the parking lot around the chalet. Pushing the slush, opening the drain, very satisfying. Keep it up! Love your channel.
Made me feel nostalgic for my youth in Wisconsin, but not too much. It was 75°F here in Augusta, Georgia, yesterday. Thanks for another great video post 10. :-)
Another great video Post 10, very satisfying. I have noticed a few times, that you are wearing a wedding ring. Congratulations... Stay safe on your travels...♥️
I’ve lived in central Florida so long, I’ve conveniently forgotten about this “side effect” of a great, beautiful snowfall. Good work, Post. You are a giant among men.
Post 10 keep safe, the winter is cold, the rain is cold, drivers are cold, and now your channel is full of snow. Keep making video with narration, I find you voice really relaxing in my ear. Keep making video even your fun side of things. Keep safe.👍🏻
Nice job once again my friend. Yeah you have a couple things working in your favor. Once you expose those drains and get the water running to them, you'll have the ground heat, that will come up out of the drains to keep the snow/ice melting and you also have the road heat, both from the friction of the vehicle tires and the warmth of any sun during the day. This will heat up the water which will quickly melt the ice and snow. You are good man and it's great that you find fun in doing this as you are certainly doing these neighborhoods a great service.
I very much enjoy watching your videos. It's crazy how much one person can do so much good. We need more great people like you! Keep up the great work 👍
I commented on another video that I miss New England thunderstorms. I do NOT miss this!! Not even a little bit! 6 winters in Western Mass and I am D.O.N.E. with snow! God bless you!
Great work, as always. The parking lot segment was cool-neat to see how fast all that water drained. That was one happy dog. We should all have such joy. Stay safe out there, kiddo.
This is something mutual we share. And actually what drew me to your channel in the first place (cleaning drains). Because I actually do the similar things every spring in my street, on both of my corners. I have to chip/carve out the ice to make culverts for the water to go to the small drains. Nice to finally see a video of the winter part
Another one of your many awesome good deeds, there is no way to count all your great deeds you do a day and you should be in the world record books every day and for yrs to come
As a Midwest resident, I have to say your work here is vital, especially with roads that flood easily. There's few things more horrifying than trying to drive on a sheet of ice.
Nice job as per usual bud, you do good things. Wish we had some of that rain (and snow) looks lovely. We've had over 112f for days.... no rain for ages.... large parts of the country burning.... the end.
I don't think a single person has seen a steam and not even thought about damming it up to break it and let the water out. This man is putting that satisfying feeling onto the internet for everyone to enjoy.
I live in central florida so I truly enjoy watching these. I watch other clips that have to do with now and it just amazes me how snow can make a building collapse. We have hurricanes I understand those I don't understand the snow and how heavy it gets. But then I'm a southerner not a northerner
