  • Today we got a lot of rain. It was half month's rate within 1 hour. Many streets flooded after it. I was checking the streets and was trying to drain it. The problem was leaves of the trees.

Hey if that junction floods again, and that drain is a standard hinged one try (temporarily) lifting it up.
This will allow any small leaves and debris to bypass the grate and reduce number of times you have to clear it.
It'll also increase volume, clearing the road sooner.
Lovely video, nice to see occasional variety on your channel 😀

Lousy infrastructure design and capacity for drainage. The council should foot the bill for inundation damages.
We can get up to 200mm of rain here in an hour, and we don't get this sort of flooding from streets not draining...we do get serious floods from rivers breaking the banks though.
