  • Bushwacker OE flares in smooth black unpainted (link below). They look great on my truck and were pretty easy to install. Of course, the reality is the first time takes you triple the time as the second to do it. I do not know if factory ones install the same way, please comment if you know. These extend out .75 inch just enough to cover the poke made by my +18 offset wheels. Thanks for watching and please subscribe and hit the like button I would really appreciate it.

    just pulled this from Bush wackers site:
    Flexible enough to withstand any environment and tough enough to maintain their style
    Built-in sun protection filters out damaging rays and stops chalking in its tracks
    Smooth matte black finish can easily be painted

    • @828findadventure
      @828findadventure  2 года назад +1

      Yes, they can be painted but I left mine alone. They have a few blemishes from shipping but they look nice and keep the dirt from spraying up and scratching the paint. Thanks for commenting.

    You gave the Offset of the wheel but what tire size are you running? Looks good by the way and video was very well done.

      18”x9” with a plus 18 offset. Tire size is 275/70/18. Thanks for asking. 👍🏼

    Nice been looking for a flatest flares I could find for my Tundra, these seem to be the ones. I have the factory rims and tires on my 2018 Tundra Limited and I didn't want a flare that stuck out to much, then it wouldn't look in proportion to the tires I currently have. Do you think these would look ok ?

    • @828findadventure
      @828findadventure  2 года назад

      Yes, these are similar to the factory OE flares you can get body-color painted from the dealer. They are just cheaper. I like the matte black finish these have and the fact they only stick out .75" from the fender. I didn't want wide flares either. They have held up well. Installation was time-consuming but mostly because of the rubber trim you have to stick on each flare to protect the paint. I'm really happy with them. Thanks for commenting and if you haven't please subscribe I try to upload a video every week.

    I’ve got the stock XSP flares on my 21 and they’re kinda crap, they don’t completely attach to the fender. Not sure if there is a fix for it.

      Not at all, I’m still running all four. Most people remove them but I’m leaving them on. Thanks for watching.
