    Nice video!
I think it's interesting, to me anyway, about how things have changed since I was a kid (I'm 76)... When I first picked corn I used a New Idea 2 row and conveyed the ears in a trailing wagon... Use to open fields with a team of mules and a old wagon on wooden wheels... The corn was all stored on the farm in either wood cribs or round wire ones... Fed to hogs as ear corn and taken to the mill to grind corncob meal, unless you had your own grinder... I would use an old hand crank , cast iron sheller if I needed just the kernels only... Loaded the sheller one ear at a time... But ya didn't need anything big back in the day... a man could make a pretty livin' on a hundred acre farm for him and his family... I never saw a combine run corn till 1982... Just curious...how many acres of corn do they have and is it all hauled to the mill or do they store some on site... and how many bushels do they anticipate?

I don't know, I've heard that the X9 was having a lot of teething problems when they started running demo units. Mike Mitchell was supposed to get one for a demo, but Deere pulled the plug on that. I don't think the X9 will have a chance against the Fendt 9t or the Class 8900.

@@DeathHead1358 The X9 is spec'd to be able to handle 7000 bu/hr in corn. So in theory it should be able to crush the performance we see in this video. Don't know if it'll actually do it. Haven't read anything about the Claas 8900 capacity in bu/hr in corn.
