@@KNJensen we run a 16row onour 760tt and it aint big enough we need 18 row. grain cart cant keep up because combine running too fast. when you unload the machine is already half a mile away and wanting to dump. actuall two carts would be the answer but another body is not always possible

Every time I see a Kinze grain cart I think of the big Kress coal haulers. The next steps in grain cart evolution are going to see them become even more similar. It's slightly intimidating to think about the volume of grain that combines in 5-10 years will require to be moved away. Certainly road legal transport is going to be the bottleneck sooner or later, when you can add only more trucks instead of larger trailers you also spend more time maneuvering and unloading. Quite interesting.
What a video! Better than any Hollywood movie this year! And when that truck drove off there in the end... Thank you. My day in this small office just got a whole lot better!!!

That’s one hell of an operation there. When I was a kid growing up in Indiana I ran a John Deere 4440 with a JD 600 bushel cart. Made $2.24/hour. That was big money back in the 70’s! My how things have changed
@@bigtractorpower A John Deere 500 . There was also a Gehl cart that was 600 bushel. I think. Been a long time. But that 4440 was so strong. My cousin used to take it to the county fair tractor pulls and would win his class every time. And I would pull a 6 bottom plow as deep as I could get it. In the night you could see the exhaust header glowing cherry red. For some reason I always remember that. lol
This rain system is great for the double crop beans. Several area farms fired up last week and it’s a wash this week. Sun for Saturday and Sunday and maybe more rain next week. It may a bit before combines are running full Steam ahead.
On the Farm in Eastern Germany where i`m working we use 4 2020 Lexion 8900 with Convio 1380 Grainheader and 1275 Corio Corn Header. We also use 3 HAWE ULW 5000 Grain Carts pulled by various Fendt Tractors (942,1046,1050).We also have a 1167 Vario MT for Demo.
Very nice. The 8800 is the largest Claas available in North America. A farm I film at with a 2019 Challenger MT 875E should have an 1167 Vario MT in time for tillage this month. I am excited to see that tractor.
We are going to be running two new New Holland CR8.90 Revelation combines with Demco XL grain tank extensions on Goodyear LSW tires running 12 row chopping corn heads, and two Kinze 1050 track grain carts pulled by a New Holland T8.360 and T8.410. We also run a third older New Holland CR 8.90 in beans with 40 ft draper heads.
Never grew corn. Here in Saskatchewan it's wheat, canola, barley, peas and lentils. We grew wheat & canola and our graincart was a Degelman 800 ShuttleCart pulled by a Versatile 856 powershift. It was sufficient to handle two JD 9870 and a 9770 combines.
Brilliant video, I've got my doubts about the Demco trailer as it is carrying a lot of weight on a single axle, I would have expected a double axle with flotation tyres or a track arrangement so as to spread the load and reduce ground compaction , the trailer it emptied into spread the load much better. Why does CLAAS use a different livery on some of its Combines, it's more like a Caterpillar livery. All the very best regards, Kevin Fox ,Essex, London.
Claas first entered the U.S. market in 1966 providing FORD with combines. The two combines worked together through 1979. From 1980 to 1986 FORD dealers sold blue Claas combines with a sold and services by Ford sticker. When Ford acquired New Holland In 1986, Claas North America was formed and sought new dealers to sell seed green machines. In 1998 Caterpillar worked with Claas to Develop the Terra Trac combine and CAT sold Caterpillar branded Lexions in the US and Claas sold seed green Challenger tractors in Europe. In 2001 Cat sold Challenger to AGCO. Claas dropped the CAT name in the US but kept selling yellow Lexions. In August 2019 Claas North America announced seed green combines for North America. The yellow 760s in this video are an end of a 21 year era for Lexion. Now they are all the same color world wide. I made a video on Caterpillar combine history that is posted at ruclips.net/video/itGN0rWY0C0/видео.html
The downside to more compact graincarts like the Demco is the way they are balanced, they can bounce around all to hell because of the way they sit almost perfectly on the axle, where as a tilt auger cart is usually more tongue heavy, and will always have weight on the drawbar, and therefor have much less bouncing around and wear to the tongue
unbelievable that you are alredy harvesting corn it is September the 3rd. We will start with harvest preps in two weeks or so and maybe harvesting in early october. I believed Ohio is early for the cornbelt but Western Kentucky is pretty early
Hoi, I am suprised that 1, you are using German Claas combines. 2, not killing the stomps of the corn. There is a corn fly that lives in the corn stomps. It will kill your harvest in the future
The 1,000 bu cart fills a semi and sends it on its way. A 1,300 bu cart fills a semi and part of a second. The 1,300 keeps the second truck waiting for the next cart load. 1,000 to 1,000 keeps a steady flow.
I’ve seen a lot of guys in Nebraska will typically have 1300 bushel carts but they only load it to 1000 bushels or so. It is easier on the combine operator and cart driver if you don’t have to load it to the absolute max. Also assured they can fill the truck while emptying out the cart completely and not having to wait for another truck.
And that's not even the "daddy" Class combine, yeah i picked of an Unverferth at an auction as it was on the small side for a 2 combine operation but at 500bus was great for keeping our CR9.90 going non stop, when you figure the combine spent as much as a 5th of it's day leaving the row, emptying and getting back on row it was a no brainer. plus it puts less stress on trucks not having to waddle across the field.
I worked for Deere for 51yrs. I bleed green. But I do like your videos about the competition. I don't believe any one of these companies could product all the machines that the farming industry requires. Lets talk market share. Who has the largest market share in North America. Then in Europe.
Claas is impressive. With two combines in this field cranking out 10,000 bu an hour there are only so many trucks and drivers to haul it away and only so much drier capacity to put the corn in to the bins. They might be able to dial it up but then everything would be sitting after a while.
