Great. Pleasant storyteller. I like the North Downs also. In the next update, the North Downs, like all other quest packs and expansions to 95 lvl, become free. Also additional classes and races and most of the perks :)
This would even be a new section: "Why every corner of Middle Earth is Amazing", and then exposing the lore and ambient of every region. I love North Downs as much as I like the Lone Lands. They both give me the feelings of solitude and lost places for men with little hope. I enjoyed Dol Dínen like few others things here. I remember doing it the first time with my burglar at night, raining, with that fog and alone, a great ambient followed by the last mission, where you had to kill a chief surrounded by packs of orcs, inside some kind of tent and doing it clean and quickly before they started to respawn. That felt like Bilbo killing and distracting spiders at Mirkwood with the ring. Talking about that, I reached the south of the dark forest today and I can't wait to explore It. Corrupted and dark places are usually my favourites.
@Radurulf Working on the next episode to this "new section" right now! I swapped my RUclips account to a new email so I think my old comment to you was deleted but I appreciate your thoughts! :)
@@Jediwarlock Good to know! Take your time and good luck with this project! I wonder what region you have in mind to be the next one. I'll be waiting for it. Seems like they are adding new zones these last months btw, so don't let the work pile up :P
The North Downs certainly are a great zone! As it is my main focus, I specifically love the music there. The night themes in particular are especially interesting as they were among the first tracks added to the game, back when it was being developed as Middle-earth Online, where I believe they also played in various other parts of the world. The zone's soundtrack is as historical as the content!
North Downs also makes available what is to my knowledge the earliest Enormous Yard decoration, the Stone Tower, which is from the Rangers of Esteldin. I have it at my house and it's so wonderfully big and obnoxious.
do enjoy the north downs starts with some nice esay quests intraduces u to fornost and some early lvl group content ends with some small fellowship quests in a huge orce camp havent done the wildwood addition to the game as i didnt no it was a thing ( returned a cupple of weeks bk after 6 years) maybe ill head down and go through the newish area and get the deeds done
Great tour of the North Downs, and the Beauty of LOTRO. Have you used the Stars at night, to navigate by? Or tried the Player Music system unique to the game? 💯 x 👍 That said, _North Downs_ is open to all gamers, except for the Special Instances. Either way ... What a great place to travel and adventure in it is.👏 Self Plug ... I did a 2 parter showing off how great the ABC Player Covers can be in game, for other players to enjoy.
@@Jediwarlock Yes yesss. Yu can DL ABC music and play the premade ABC files in game if you have the proper instrument for the files. Might talk with some of the Band Guilds when they hold concerts around the lands to fine tune playing and finding files.
Hmm, following the Epic quests, I wound up in the Lone Lands first, then headed to the North Downs after... Only to find myself over levelled for much of the content
The music playing at 5:25, can someone tell me what the name of this track is please? Or what zone it typically plays in? I want to find it but I don't think it is from the North Downs.

The _Instances_ Become Open with the next update. Correct?
You are probably one of the few who actually make informative and entertaining videos on lotro regions, I love it! Good job! Glad I found this!

I loved doing the north downs but Moria will always be my favorite great video
This is an amazing video. Please consider making more of these!
I really like the challenge you can get leveling in the North Downs alone and trying to do the Group content. Cool Video :)
Always stood out to me, too. So many different pockets of culture and color.
Agreed! Thanks for the comment :)

Really good story telling in this video. You have a very nice pacing and the video is very informative. Thumbs up!

Thankfully this will soon be included as part of the F2P content. (Update 33, late April 2022)

Yes, you definitely have to do most of the Lone Lands before going to the North Downs or else the difficulty will catch up to you really quick! :)

@@Jediwarlock Found it. Thank you very much.
Bree-lands
Always thought that the north downs > lone lands
It is such a diverse zone. Really felt sad and ruined
Agreed! Thank you for the comment :)

Thank you! :)
Great video!
