Man, ever since I found a trashed Nylon Yamaha with only the bottom 4 strings left, I’ve been craving a baritone hardcore. More specifically, I deeply want a semi-hollow, baritone uke. What a beautiful machine. Play your heart out brother.
Very nice! I love the jazzy tone! If it had a 23-inch (tenor-like) scale, 5 strings (tuned [low D]--A--E--B--F#) I would snap it up! But... I haven't seen anyone making such a thing, although I've searched far and wide.
God...I LOVE IT. I WANT ONE!!!! Is there any way I could contact you to learn some jazz runs like you play? I really like your playing. I cannot sing very well so my uke has to do the work. Peter.
You are my inspiration man! I started my tenor uke journey this year, building into this eventually. Question - what is that opening bluesy scale you play, just something you noodled together?
This guy is a luthier and builds instruments. I think he made this one. You could custom order one like this from him or try to hire someone else to make one.
If you want a cheaper one that is tenor size sound Smith makes a tenor semi hollow electric uke. Here's the link, www.soundsmithgear.com/products/coming-soon-sound-smith-electric-hollow-body-tenor-ukulele-antique-sunburst?_pos=4&_sid=243a22c29&_ss=r
Wow! this thing is bad ass!!! You play beautifully too! I've been trying to get into bari jazz for a while (its actually the entire reason why I bought my baritone ukulele: Jazz) but I have a hard time finding lessons for it.
1.50 mention of D'Addario later corrects himself at 2.22 to refer (correctly) to bottom 4 strings (DGBE). Gets quite confusing as he also seems to say he does use the middle 4 strings which would be ADGB ands the A string would be very heavy gauge for a uke - even with flatwound lights.
Santa Claus needs thousands of these
In love! Us Bari Uke players are few and far between, so this warms my heart. Thanks for for some nice licks.
could double as a electric Mando with different string gauge :)
Wow! Excellent uke! Sounds and looks beautiful. Great job!
That's a very beautiful instrument.

Very interesting using the middle strings. Sounds like it is working out well.

Oh, it's still available.. just not in website.. email me :)
Is this for sale? Sounds great! I am interested.

Can i use the same strings on my baritone uke?
This is superbly sweet! What strings do you have on it?
Simon Maxwell I do believe he said he uses D'Addario flat-wound chromes. I only noticed that because I use the same strings
Hi there he said at 2:47 ish he uses the middle 4 strings of a pack
