When I was younger, I noticed a difference in the type of men who would approach me when I wore weave. I would often attract hoodlums, drug dealers and scammers when I wore weave. When I would wear my natural hair I would attract attention from men of value. Needless to say, I stopped wearing weaves and was able to attract my husband and we have been together for 7 years.

I think it’s because when a man sees a woman that wears a lot of makeup he feels like she has something to hide. She may not have confidence in herself. She’s probably insecure. There is a large segment of top 5 percent earning men who do not like to be "seen", that ONLY date Plain Janes, who are introverted, with no strong social media presence. I wholeheartedly agree with you when I met my wife who was a single mother at the time I saw something more than just exterior Beauty in her. Observed how she treated her children and how she carried herself. And she was the first woman I looked at and did not undress with my eyes. I said to myself I can spend the rest of my life with this woman . This is no lie if you ever have a chance to meet her she would tell you this. Though at the time my wife had a natural BBL 27 years ago that's not what I saw I saw something deeper and within a year I wifed her up. Children and all. Hm interesting... I'm someone that's never been a makeup girly, I think mostly because my mother is the total opposite and she wanted me to wear makeup so bad, to the point she turned me off from it. As I got older I made the choice I didn’t want to wear makeup because I didn't want to get into that psychological way of thinking that I wasn't pretty unless I had on makeup. I value facial self care and making sure my face/body is as clean, healthy, moisturized, and clear as it can possibly be. Taking care of my facial skin is only one of the keys to me feeling pretty. I use to wear jaw string ponytails as a teen, and was relaxed for most of my childhood and a little in my early adulthood. But now I'm 100 percent natural. I now prioritize wearing my natural curly hair because I do love my curly hair. I just like being as natural as possible, I don't desire makeup or fake hair, but I don't look down on women who do, nor do I think I'm better or more beautiful than them. Just that I feel most comfortable without makeup and wearing my natural curls. Its just a preference.

I’m attracted to the plain Jane because from my experience, (I don’t know all women) they tend to be more down to Earth like I am. Not all the high demands of a man who has to be over six feet tall and muscular and make tons of money. I like the simple things in life and I know more than likely the plain Jane woman would be the same way and not high maintenance either. I’m not attractive enough for the “pretty girls” anyway.

I think you're a very smart woman and you're making some good sense, but I also think you're missing some very important details. A woman's looks will always grab a man's attention, as well as how well uou take care of yourself, but none of that will keep a man. Also, a real man doesn't give a damn about a woman's money. It may be a bonus to him, but he's not really after that. What keeps a man is your respect for him, your deference to him, and how well you can get on his program. Anything else is just window dressing. It's obvious modern women don't get this, hence the no marriages and the high divorce rates.

This is a great video. I rarely hear women comment on the fact that many rich/wealthy men are not flashy, and fly under the radar purposely. There is a large segment of top 5 percent earning men who do not like to be "seen", that ONLY date Plain Janes, who are introverted, with no strong social media presence. These naturally beautiful women do not stay on the dating market for long. And the men are looking for wives.

I wholeheartedly agree with you when I met my wife who was a single mother at the time I saw something more than just exterior Beauty in her. Observed how she treated her children and how she carried herself. And she was the first woman I looked at and did not undress with my eyes. OK here is a short list of beneficial attributes that makes a woman much more valuable to man if she can legitimately "bring these to the table".
#1 Not being crazy. In other words a woman who make rational decisions and does not constantly create drama that the man then has to deal with.
#2 Not being overly needy with the man's time and money. Men prefer a woman who can tolerate giving a man some breathing space so that he can do the things he has to do in order to be successful. Hm interesting... I'm someone that's never been a makeup girly, I think mostly because my mother is the total opposite and she wanted me to wear makeup so bad, to the point she turned me off from it.
As I got older I made the choice I didn’t want to wear makeup because I didn't want to get into that psychological way of thinking that I wasn't pretty unless I had on makeup.
I value facial self care and making sure my face/body is as clean, healthy, moisturized, and clear as it can possibly be.
Taking care of my facial skin is only one of the keys to me feeling pretty.
I use to wear jaw string ponytails as a teen, and was relaxed for most of my childhood and a little in my early adulthood.
But now I'm 100 percent natural. I now prioritize wearing my natural curly hair because I do love my curly hair.
I just like being as natural as possible, I don't desire makeup or fake hair, but I don't look down on women who do, nor do I think I'm better or more beautiful than them. Just that I feel most comfortable without makeup and wearing my natural curls. Its just a preference.

What is the meaning of a plain Jane to black people? Where l come from a plain Jane is in the middle between pretty and ugly. In high school the average guys dated the plain Jane girls. Women who are usually plain janes are: humble, submissive, loyal, and caring. Why is this? Because they are not told 100 times a day they are beautiful, from different men in their life. Since they don't get approached so much they also are less promiscuous, and have a very low body count and if the man is lucky the are still a virgin.
When you are raised constantly being told you are beautiful your mind tends becomes conceited and you rely on ONLY your beauty to get anything you want. You tend to be on social media looking for the constantly validation you are used to, and when you don't get it you seek it out in any form you can. Men don't need or want this. You as a women should be seeking the attention of your man and the most high, no one else.
Hence why the question "What do you bring to the table" is often answered by women (especially beautiful women) that they bring their body to the table. That is a hard pass for a man that doesn't just want a piece of flesh for the rest of his life (that ages and looses her youth), but a partner and helper.
To Summarize, men are looking for women who value (traditional/biblical gender roles), are virgins, aren't social media addicts, don't show their bodies to the world, and have more to offer then just sex/looks.

A woman's looks will always grab a man's attention, as well as how well uou take care of yourself, but none of that will keep a man.
Also, a real man doesn't give a damn about a woman's money. It may be a bonus to him, but he's not really after that.
What keeps a man is your respect for him, your deference to him, and how well you can get on his program. Anything else is just window dressing.
