TRYING ALL THE MATCHA IN JAPAN - the matcha tokyo, atelier matcha, nakamura tokichi

this video I was the most excited about filming bc I got to try my favorite thing in the land where it's best known for producing high-quality matcha! If you couldn't tell from the video itself, I was truly in my element. Since this was a short trip, these were the places we managed to visit.

I'm gonna guess the "jelly" you ate with the usucha at Nakamura Tokichi is called yo-kan. Not a big fan of it, but it pears well with Japanese tea. I also believe matcha in Japan will almost always taste better because the Japanese people are very picky in terms of taste, plus matcha is grown locally so it will taste fresher/better. I'll have to find a spot like that when I travel to Japan next time!
