Matias have godlike voice. He is an actor and he is very talented. I'm a Falconer fan since I was 13 years old, now I'm 19. Many people dislike this band, I just don't know why. When I'm listening to Falconer songs like "Northwind", I close my eyes and I can see the warriors and all that stuff, It's so awesome!! This song is very good too, but I can't understand swedish. It's not a problem because I like their swedish songs too. Can't wait for a new album!

Like every incredible force of music that hides away for a while, I'm always pleasantly delighted and excited to remember Falconer exists and then listen to it for ages on end. The harmony of guitar, the power drumming, the bass....it's all so good. But the vocals is the keystone of it all...it's what I like about death metal without the screaming, near impossible to understand vocals that I hate...and not only that, but damn this man can sing. And damn this band can play. Please make more

@riastradh2 if you're interested in the stories Falconer tells, get the deluxe edition of their new album. It has a few of the songs in english as bonus tracks (Down by the Rose's Grave, Black Widow, Oh Silent Solitude all come from Vid Rosornas Grave, Svarta Ankan, and O Tysta Ensamhat)
I think their debut is the best. All the songs on that album are flawless. The other one would probably be Northwind. I find it magnificent and soothing.
Northwind is my personal favourite - but I like them all only Grime vs Grandeur stayed a little behind my expectations... but then I confess I´m a dedicated fan of Mathias Blad´s voice

Kris is great and Grime vs. Grandeur is a great album, but Mathias' amazing, classical vocals are the true heart of Falconer. I would really like to have both of them, working together or alternating (so maybe we could have albums more often... :P) Either ways, Falconer rocks and is without a doubt, the best band ever.
as an american i listen to a lot of europeon metal....most of it is in their native tongue which i like.when those band switch to english i feel that it lessons the integrity of their music...these guys went a little in reverse in those regards...sounds good by me
Dude, seriously? I'm from America and I have gone through great lengths to get albums from bands such as these. Falconer, Ensiferum, Tyr; I love all of them, and all my friends do as well. We can buy them, and we do. Not all of us are Gaga or Beiber-loving asswipes. I am of Scottish decent, and learned Gaelic because Celtic culture is awesome. English may be spoken around the world, but it doesn't mean we can't appreciate other languages. Be more open minded, why don't you...

yeah the Albums with Göbel are not that great, they lost some of their charm and played a bit more normal power metal.
