    I love how Gul'dan just goes, "Oh, you're on our side now? Mk, sure why not. Here's the scepter." Seriously, as I was running towards Calydus' portal out, I turned around and yelled, "Thanks for the staff, Gul'lible Dan!"

    Oddly enough, I chose to come back based on the Artifact Weapons and for some reason, the Scepter of Sargeras made me want to play the Warlock... including Apocalypse for the DK, the Claws of Ursoc (I always loved the Druid), Felo'melorn and Sharas'dal (I need to practice as Healer). Of all artifacts, I think the Scepter suits the expansion so well and it looks extremely badass.

      Brandon Rog It really was also a great moment for our characters. Think about it: in all our entire life, this is the single biggest possible decision weve ever been faced with: side with the legion and become part of the Upper Echelons of the Shadow Council second only to Gul'dan, who stands right below Kil'jaeden himself, basically ensuring our own future prosperity and wealth of power, or betray Gul'dan and head out into an uncertain future to try and save our world against the greatest threat in the universe (note we ourselves do not know about the void lords) In that very moment, the stars align for us to damn azeroth or save it from the brink of annihilation. And how do we choose? we choose to take a leap of faith and hope for the future of our world, for a brighter tomorrow.
      I know, suprisingly eloquent compared to my previous comment, but i made that quick comment as i was running out the door

    And if you are wondering too, this was the Staff that Ner'zhul used to open the portals that torn Draenor apart (Our Draenor), then it's Outland now.
    Still I really love the Demonology Artifact better with the skull, but if people like this staff good for them.
    Really wonder what happened with the Skull of Gul'dan, the Book of Medivh, and then the Eye of Dalaran.

    Additional note from the Thal'kiel video I found out last night. Nobbel didn't mention he has stuff to say about various zones and bosses, he had this to say about Tichondrius and Ellisande (I'm paraphrasing here as I forgot to screen cap them):
    Tichondrius: The Nethrazim have always been arrogant, Tichondrius even more so. It'll be his undoing.
    Ellisande: Her attempts to control time are clever but pointless, she's being manipulated by powers far beyond her understanding.
    Nothing world shattering I know, but here's one I'd like the Loremasters input on. In, I believe, Highmountain Thal'kiel mentions that the Legion seem to be deliberately avoiding it. Indeed, other than the presence of the Fel Totem the Legion seem to have no presence there at all. Given the proximity of Deathwings old lair, is it possible the last Old God is UNDER the Broken Isles? Perhaps this is how he was so easily corrupted.

    • @Nobbel87
      @Nobbel87  7 лет назад +8

      Bit of both. Varian will have the last episode coming monday, after that it's into the nightfallen rebellion which leads into Nighthold. Also got a few order hall campaigns to finish and after that...who knows. 7.2 will add more story to the artifacts and order halls, we'll see how that's going to go down.

    • @Xerocoo
      @Xerocoo 7 лет назад

      Gheorghiev Stefan Still have Order Halls, Suramar 2.0 quest line, Nighthold happenings, Balance of power quest line, Archaeology quest lines, etc... and probably by the time that is done 7.2 will be out. And from what is seen on 7.2 on ptr a shit ton more lore is coming..... Plethora of Lore to work with as oppose to WoD

    • @KisiroKitsune
      @KisiroKitsune 7 лет назад

      The good news with the 7.2 artifact quests is there's only 7 total quests shared across all 36 specs (1 tank quest, 2 healers, 4 dps), so that's a lot less work than doing the 36 artifact videos from launch.

    • @Xerocoo
      @Xerocoo 7 лет назад

      Reign But added lore from Tomb of Sargeras and the dungeon..... I feel like they are holding a ace in hold closer to 7.2.... Maybe a following story between Sylvanas and Greymane. There is also the story of why Anduin is at the Broken Shore incognito

    What I find cool is that he speaks more highly of you if you killed Archimonde on that character, I believe he's says something like. "Ah slayer of Archimonde, come to joining the winning side?" or at least he did for me. I'm not sure if it works on LFR because I got moos carried so I know he says that if you did it on heroic.

    When I decided to make a lock and play during legion I didnt realize my artifact would make most others, if not all others (unaware of all artefacts lore), pale in comparison in theoretical power (based on lore) xD
    But it fits the destruction warlock perfectly thematically, that's for sure!
    Need to decide whether I want green fire or if I prefer the "normal" though (ofc I can switch every now and then to just keep things interesting)....Thematically I guess normal makes more sense but considering Chaos Bolt is green and also Channel Demonfire is green it kind of would look cooler to just go full green....decisions decisions...xD

    So i might have understood this wrong but how could nerzhul be intoxicated by the skull of guldan? I mean at the time when nerzul started to open the rifts to new worlds wasnt guldan in the tomb of sargares? where he later got killed (and i asume the skull was left in the tomb)? Did Teron retrieve it at the same time the got the scepter?

    • @SuzakuX
      @SuzakuX 7 лет назад +1

      One of the surviving Shadow Council members took his skull and fled the Tomb, then got killed by Hurkan Skullsplinter, chieftain of the Bonechewer clan, who was in turn killed by Grom Hellscream, who delivered it to Ner'zhul.
      Ner'zhul later gave it to Deathwing in exchange for his help, and it was stolen from Deathwing by Khadgar, Alleria, and Turalyon. Khadgar used to destroy the Dark Portal and attempted to send the artifacts back to Azeroth through the failing portal as the gateway crumbled.
      After that it somehow fell into the hands of the dreadlord Tichondrius, who used it to corrupt Felwood. Illidan finally killed Tichondrius and consumed the skull's power, transforming into his current demonic form. He kept it as a memento up until he died in Black Temple, where he dropped it as a level 70 trinket.
      It's currently located in one of my warlock's backpacks.

    Lady Deathwhisper: all part of the master's plan .. is .. inevitable . ( death quote )
    Arthas: So. You're not upset about me killing you that one time?
    Kel'Thuzad: Don't be foolish. The Lich King told me how our encounter would end.
    Arthas: The Lich King knew that I would kill you?
    Kel'Thuzad: Of course. He chose you to be his champion long before the Scourge even began.
    all part of the master's plan
    Arthas , ..master'' 's plan , was to bring up the best champions from Azeroth to him , so he can defeat and ressurect them as minions . Blizz used Kel's quote on lady i think , what do you think ? or may it be bringing the best champions of Azeroth the plan from the beginning ? and with them to conquer Azeroth ?

    i still think there should be some class fantasy tension between Warlocks and Demon hunters, just like Death Knights/Paladins
    btw: how does the Avatar work? Does Sargearas controll it directly? Is his real self like "sleeping" while controlling the Avatar or do the co-exist and are basically two different entities?

    • @leondonald6629
      @leondonald6629 7 лет назад

      essentially the avatar is just a small controllable version of himself. they are different entities otherwise we wouldn't be fighting in in the tomb of sargearas.

      TheHorreK2 Why tension between warlocks and DHs? if anything they would be BFFs

    • @TheHorreK2
      @TheHorreK2 7 лет назад

      because they are like Death knights and Paladins, two polarized opposites. DHs want to destroy the demons. WLs want to gain power from demons enslaving etc. DHs only absorbe Demons in order to keep up with their powerlevel. In long term their Ideologies would clash against each other, just like Paladins/Death Knight again. If you want you could even create class hatred between Monks and Warriors with their Ideologies etc. there is much potential that could happen between them but which we most likley will never see

    i miss the portal mechanic of the destruction warlock so much, it gave a kind of more... pleasing look then just summoning fire a lot and occasionally tossing a ball at the enemy. it was a bit more fancy and looked like something a "warlock" would use. now it just feels boring. sticking to demonology.

  • @morthim

    how did nerzul have the skull of guldan, if nerzul died before guldan with guldan taking over teh shadow coucil?
    "at last teh scepter was back in the legion's posession" but nerzul was an agent of the legion and relatedly created teh first horde.
    are they retconing everything?
    alternate guldan should have been renamed gul'tan.

    • @Nobbel87

      Ner'zhul didn't die before Gul'dan, atleast not the main univers Ner'zhul.

    • @felonyx5123
      @felonyx5123 7 лет назад +1

      Ner'zul didn't die, he was just sidelined into a powerless puppet. After the defeat of the Horde on Azeroth they needed leaders, and he took up the mantle once more. Though he was used as a puppet by Kil'Jaeden at first, Ner'zul was unwilling to work for the legion once he knew what they really were, which is why Kil'Jaeden backed Gul'dan instead. This has always been the lore, it isn't a retcon.

    So the avatar of Sargeras should be the biggest boss in wow history, size wise that is. If he is the size of Galakrond then how did Aegwynn get it into the tomb?

    • @thomasdenbraven6346
      @thomasdenbraven6346 7 лет назад

      silverspear21 She was the Guardian of Tirisfall. She would have enough power to move the lifeless body of Sargeras.

    • @silverspear21
      @silverspear21 7 лет назад

      Thomas den Braven Right but get it inside, I mean the body is bigger than Deathwing. With that said if the encounter with the avatar in ToS raid has him anything smaller then Blizzard just made a big error.

    • @thomasdenbraven6346
      @thomasdenbraven6346 7 лет назад

      silverspear21 Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Aegwynn built the tomb around the remains.
      Why she dragged it all the way to Suramar from Northrend is a question I cannot answer.

    • @silverspear21
      @silverspear21 7 лет назад

      Thomas den Braven The Tomb, or the structures were already there, it did not become a tomb until she put Sargeras's body there. I know she dragged it there because she thought nobody would ever find it after she sunk it to the bottom of the ocean. She put special wards on it so that no magic on Azeroth could raise it and release the body. But since Gul'dan is technically not from Azeroth, his magic could and did. Unless they changed this info recently, that is what I remember.
