The RPG books and their population estimates are no longer canon. And they contradicted each other in the first place anyway, so I wouldn't put any stock in them. I'd say most of the surviving High Elves were with Theramore and Dalaran, becoming Silver Covenant, whose only literary purpose unfortunately is to be antagonists for the Blood Elves, except when Blizzard wants to sweep that plot thread under the rug for an xpac before immediately bringing it back like the cooperation and slightly mended fences never happened.
As Blizzard didn't show more than one high elf mage trainer in Stormwind (unless there were more in the Park before Deathwing came), I'd say the majority of the surviving High Elves who ignored their prince's order for his people to return to Quel'thalas from wherever they were at the time, were in Dalaran. Because in WotLK after Dalaran showed up, there were suddenly lots of High Elves in-game around helping out at lots of bases and even having solely High Elf forces.
I wish they developed the Allerian Stronghold elves more as the main High Elf faction. They've actually got more personality to them than "I hate Blood Elves because reasons, so I'll kill every Blood Elf I see because Garrosh killed my husband. Then I'm gonna let Garrosh go. Then I'm gonna keep hating and killing Blood Elves."
And they are still most played Horde race and 2nd most played race in general right after humans

The couth-ness with which Nobbel speaks is at such contrast with the crass, yet highly entertaining voice of Preach! Love them both!
Preacher has a funny way of storytelling, hes very very into it ya know. Having fun with it. Youre a bit more serious and "chill" nobbel, so this was some good contrast. And excellent video as always of course :D

Preach never talked about how the reforged Felo'melorn actually exchanged blows for blows with Frostmourne itself and Arthas and was even able to withstand and parry off a massive killing blow from Frostmourne. I think that defiantly is worthy of mention to show how truly legendary Felo'melorn is. Not many other blades can lay claim to being able to stand up against Frostmourne.

In one of the books, I think War Crimes, there's talk of negotiations for the release of the Sunreavers being held prisoner by Jaina in Dalaran.
I'd like to see more collabs with Preach like that. It's a lot more bro-y when that happens lol.

This has got to be one my favourite artifacts aesthetically, on account of the silly Sunstrider trademarked fireball trio around your head XDDD
Lol at you voting "no." Is Aethas betraying his nation by handing over a priceless historical royal family heirloom national treasure of Quel'thalas to the people who've shown themselves to be completely indifferent to their supposed allies twice now in recent years not enough proof that he hates being a Blood Elf and would prefer to be a loyal pet fetching the Council's slippers over being a respected magister of Quel'thalas, with his contributions to society recognized and appreciated?
One thing, Aethas did not use portals and was not involved in the heist. That was Garrosh orchestrating the heist with the use of non-Sunreaver Blood Elves loyal to him, and one single Sunreaver double-agent loyal to him that betrayed Dalaran (this is proven for undeniable fact by War Crimes), using the Sunreavers' presence in Dalaran to piggyback on Dalaran's portal network to transport the Divine Bell directly to Silvermoon. This was only necessary because Jaina was using neutral Kirin Tor resources to help the Alliance keep the Divine Bell out of Horde hands, and personally killing any Horde who tried to get around her wards the normal way. The Horde just did what Jaina did, only the Horde weren't pretending to be neutral when they did it.
So to Jaina, neutrality means helping the Alliance however she can, and if anyone does the same except for the Horde, it's bad.
Also, Aethas looking the other way is just him doing what all Kirin Tor do: Put their loyalty to their race above their loyalty to their faction. It's exactly what Modera and Ansirem did during WC3 when Garithos rounded up their colleague Kael'thas (a member of the Council of Six) and his followers (who were only there to help the humans) and slated them all for execution for allying with someone Garithos considered untrustworthy, preferring the Blood Elves die.
A pity that Blizzard shoves the Blood Elves into the mud every chance they get for just imitating their human masters like the dogs Blizzard has forced them to become, when they're supposed to be powerful users of magic despite never being depicted as capable of doing anything at all magic-related without the humans' help anymore.
Blood elves always have to be shown as weak and dependent, and as the ones who have to make reparations. When the Kirin Tor sent Aethas to the blood elves before WotLK because they were too cowardly to go themselves, and still to this day have never acknowledged their indifference to their supposed allies, Aethas should have said "The wounds inflicted by the Garithos incident run deep, Modera/Ansirem. Others in Silvermoon are not as forgiving as I."
Yet Modera has the gall to act like the Blood Elves owe them something for Aethas making the choice he saw would spare more of his people's lives, while being unwilling to hold herself to the same standard, or even acknowledge that she ever did the exact same thing, only out of cowardice rather than being faced with an impossible choice.
And Ansirem has the gall to say "How do we know he won't simply betray the Kirin Tor again?"
Ugh. I hate it all, and I hate that Blizzard has Aethas and the Sunreavers be the main Blood Elf mage character that players interact with, because he gives them all a bad name, tripping over each other to be the Kirin Tor's obedient dogs fetching their slippers and newspaper.
Blizzard needs to give ROMMATH the spotlight. HE'S a real Blood Elf mage. He actually has an ounce of pride and self-respect. Aethas is just a submissive traitor to his nation for giving the lead on Felo'melorn to Dalaran rather than Silvermoon, with which the sword rightfully belongs with. The only redeeming story outcome for Felo'melorn is that its bearer is a Blood Elf mage that is proud to be a blood elf, not apologetic and ashamed like Aethas is.
Still, at least Aethas had the decency to ask the Kirin Tor to take him back himself. The Kirin Tor didn't have the same courtesy for the Blood Elves, unwilling to even look them, or Rommath in the eye, who was personally wronged and betrayed by them after being an Archmage in Dalaran alongside Kael'thas as a Coucil of Six member for years. Modera and/or Ansirem should have come personally and thrown themselves at Lor'themar and Rommath's feet and begged them for forgiveness and to send their magi to help Dalaran against Malygos. They needed the Blood Elves more than the Blood Elves needed them. The least they could have done is apologize, or they shouldn't hold Aethas to a standard they were never willing to meet themselves.
Rommath would be a good bearer for Felo'melorn, as Kael'thas' right-hand man and most loyal follower before he turned to the Legion. And he would bear it in Silvermoon's name, not Dalaran's. It really sucks to have to sit and be shoveled this crap over and over that not only do the Sunreavers forgive the Kirin Tor, but they even see themselves as the guilty party despite none of them except one double agent (who probably doesn't care about Dalaran) and Aethas (just pretending not to see because Garrosh could destroy his people if he told Jaina) having done anything at all, and don't mind at all that the Kirin Tor don't feel any remorse for allowing Jaina to violate the law of Dalaran and loose the bloodthirsty Silver Covenant (who have no political authority to make arrests in Dalaran, or really any authority at all) on them to beat and murder and rob as they please.
So, what do you think about Ansirem and Modera and generally all the Kirin Tor being backstabbing egocentric genocidal hypocrites?

Imo one of the best and yet underplayed artifacts. This blade is mostly just from the books and such; we dont even use it in wc3. BUT it was huge! Lore wise and everything, I wish they really went more into it as Arthas fought off Blood elves, Naga and Illidan. They really should've used more - but that's a rant for another time. I loved how this is how the sunreaver dude comes back and the issues it has. That is good writing, not this "Everybody love and accept each other." Plus good to see jaina going batshit insane again haha, makes here character interesting! for all you haters. I mean she didn't listen to anyone but her OWN hatred and need for vengeance, singling ALL Blood elves out as evil. Man she is sounding a lot like Arthas and her own father...

Eh, he still said the Sunreavers betrayed Dalaran, when it was just one double-agent proven in War Crimes, and Aethas who was forced into complicity with his race threatened by Ishi in Garrosh's name. So coupling that with his emotes during the voting for Aethas to come back, it's pretty obvious he let his bias leak into his telling of the events, because the Sunreavers did not betray Dalaran. One Sunreaver did, and Aethas had no choice.
It's understandable that Jaina could no longer trust the Sunreavers to police themselves, so they couldn't be in Dalaran anymore, but she didn't investigate at all. She literally poofed into the Violet Citadel and immediately murdered three of Aethas' bodyguards before saying a word, then murdered the last two after she froze him in ice.

You see you just ignored all of his bias and only focus on one part. All his other videos already proven where his allegiance lies. I do like his videos, but only got triggered sometime.

On my final side note: I love Archmage Madora! She is so awesome. I know they had to agree to him coming back but at the same time, they don't really have too... I mean Noble is clearly biased, so am I thought too. I want to know what happened to the prisoners Jaina took; who knows what she will do in her madness...

1:50 i hear some alliance-propaganda leaking through the lore. Aethas never use the portals, he was neutral, as was most of the Sunreavers.
They turned a blind eye to garrosh using them. They knew and told no one. Which makes them guilty by association! >:)
The Ampharos Freak no that makes them neutral, jaina on the otherhand used the kirin tor to safe guard the bell, with is anything but neutral.
I doubt anyone was prepared to call Jaina neutral tho.

Only a few handful at best were double agents working for Garrosh, Aethas and the rest were neutral and a Kirin Tor loyal. Only example of them turning a blind eye is a confirmed error in the live game where Aethas was supposed to stumble upon the portal we used to steal the Divine Eye (Nobbel actually says this in the video); however, when Aethas was going to tell Jaina about it, Nazgrim threatened that by doing so would invoke Garrosh's fury on the Sin'dorei. Having to choose between Garrosh's wrath or Jaina's fury, he chose Jaina's fury as her's would be less severe as Garrosh's. Though it never made in the game, Aethas references this on the Throne of Thunder when he shifts during the encounter between Lor'themar and Jaina.
So are the Sunreavers guilty as a whole? No. Aethas? Possibly, as he did technically "turned a blind eye." Either way, it was Jaina's poor judgment in getting Varian mad at her and having every blood elf hate her. No sympathy for her at all.

Ok, so I have a question: the blade was present within Icecrown while Arthas sat on the crown, yes? Then how come we didn't sense it or even obtain it back then? Wouldn't this be something dropping off Arthas or perhaps Lyandra Sunstrider herself being a boss in Icecrown? .. Just a wild thought, would like to know what you fine folks think of it.

Considering Modera is the one who said yes first, then the most right explain why he said yes, then khadgar asked Aniserm, he said yes. And then Khadgar instead asking Kalec directly, he Asked "The rest of you"... i am sure the player is not in the council and even without question we already said yes by default

Assumed this is on Blizzard's end. Because Kalec has been replaced away from the Council many times in Beta. So Kalec was never much part of the development process. He was shoe-horned in as Council Member

that is because its not Arthas, its Bolvar. Arthas has been long dead and bolvar had to take his place in order to keep the undead running wild.

I want to ask about roleplay'ish thing. I know that Illidan tried to take down Arthas and Kael'Thas was trying as well. Soo... they were trying to do that together ? Well... its not as important to me if they were doing that together or not... more like... can I roleplay demon-hunter in training that was "living" in outland and after assault... was killed&raised as death knight ? ( blood elf )
Kael'thas and his blood elves were allied with Illidan and lady Vashj's naga, and they assaulted Icecrown together (Nobbel is getting close to that part in his Warcraft 3 play-through). Both Kael'thas and Illidan engaged Arthas 1v1 at separate points during that battle, though.
About the blood elf demon hunter novice being raised as a death knight part... I believe only the two first (surviving) demon hunter trainees were around at the time of the battle, and did not partake in it. Blood elves were trained as demon hunters en masse later and up to TBC where the player starting experience starts. Therefore there should not have been any blood elf demon hunter corpses in Northrend for the Scourge to claim. You can role play as anything you want, but it won't follow the canon in this case.

Or maybe in a book (loved wolfheart) showing some serious development in there relationship (hoping to see) and demonic asskicking on there part. Even if it's just a small quest line I still want to see some development. Your thoughts?

I personally liked jaina in WC3 but putting her and Kalec together makes no sense at all in my mind.
Tyrygosa is a dragon (blue) and was planned to be Kalec's mate (that dump in the comics with Kalec picking anveena instead of tyri was dum (I felt really bad for tyri when it happened)) your thoughts?
