This absolutely was one of the most funny and interesting weapon quests.
Also enjoyed that Grim is actually the dwarf you see in the original Wow cinematic.
Putting aside the gun itself, Hati was an awesome addition. As a Worgen Beast Master I run around with Hati and Gara the spirit wolf and it just fits. We're a wolf pack and we fight together.
its the exact same thing for me. Hati, Gara, and a Worgen Beast Master. nice to have a wolf companion pet out too.

I liked that BM Hunters get an extra pet to fight alongside. Playing a Worgen BM hunter myself, that part fits the class fantasy, as we are a hunting pack working together to take down foes. Though I still don't think a Gun really fits Beast Mastery, as I always saw the classes weapons being more primitive or primal. I would've thought Marksmenship Hunters get the gun because accuracy.
Also, until the very end, the artifact questline seemed to have very little to do with mastering beasts. More of that and I think it would've worked.
guns just dont belong in wow. they all look stupid and ruin a big part of the fantasy.

The Nightmare Rider here's my argument, it takes way more skill to shoot a bow than a gun, that's not to say guns are easy, but still. Therefore it makes sense that the marksmen would get the complex art and the beast masters something they don't have to dedicate their skills to as much

I always try to leave you a comment, but as usual thank you for the great lore videos to give me something to watch while I feed the baby. Through your channel I have really deepened my love for this universe and have even started reading the books that I hadn't had a chance to read yet. The universe is so rich in its story line and I like that when I watch your videos and learn the lore, I can go into the game and see characters and quests and raids in a different light. Thank you for all your hard work, it has really made legion that much better of an expansion! I would never have the time to level every class to 110 and play them, so being able to see the artifact quests and story lines of the classes I don't have has made me feel like I am still getting to experience the full game.
If the marksmanship hunter weapon hadn't been Alleria's bow (for which I leveled up a blood elf hunter), I would have leveled up my dwarf hunter for Legion. A high- tech gun made by one of the Titan Keepers sounds like the ideal weapon for a dwarf.
Is it just me or is this weapon's artifact quest much more enjoyable than any others I've seen? The amount of effort and story about interesting characters we don't hear that much about is always welcome

yay! I was wondering if I missed you covering Titanstrike. I love my Hunter gun!
I really didn't like the idea of the "techno-magic" gun at first. I really thought a gun was much more suitable for a Marksman hunter, and a bow for BM. But after playing through this and getting my BM artifact, I really learned to appreciate it. And I love Hati :3
Was sad though that having the other wolf Skoll did not make any difference.
While I'm not overly fond of using guns on my hunters (nothing a quick trip to the trasmog vendor can't fix), the Titanstrike chain has to be one of my favourite artefact quests so far.
One of my favorite artifact quests, it's a shame the weapon doesn't look very cool.
I feel like this should have been Survival's Artifact and BM should have been the melee spec, they don't really talk about the kinship with beasts until the very end of the questline.

Hey nobbel, this dwarf, isnt he the one from classic wow cinematic?
It would have been cool and interesting if Thorim made a comment if you had Skoll as your pet and summoned at the time you talked to him. I did this thinking he'd have a different dialog, was a little disappointed that he didn't even notice.
If you listen closely you can hear the pain of him saying "the burning legion has..." again

anyone else have a loregasm? Also, they should have had specific interested class buffs like for example if you had a bm and balance druid you'd get the sign of Goldrinn and get a bonus to your main stat.

Worked well for my story:
Worgen Beastmaster with Skoll gets the twin Hati: After the guns destruction I went and tamed Fenryr the papa pup.

I like it! Mostly because im a engineering dwarf hunter that has played bm for years.
Since you asked..... Personally I don't think that Titanstrike fits the lore and fantasy of the Beast Master Hunter. My reasoning is that the Beast Master Hunter has always been about the beasts the hunter befriends and most of the skills that they get support this. Titanstrike, does not support that well but the more i look at it, the more i realize that there was never going to be a good weapon that backs up the fantasy of that spec. I do think the idea of giving the spec Hati as a companion fits a whole lot better and it is really cool to see that. After looking at the tree, I realized that most the skills that you can get for Titanstrike actually fit the class fantasy really damn well as they almost all focus on buffing your beasts and giving them extra effects.
Short version: the gun doesn't seem to fit but everything that comes with it fits well.
I don't think it's so much the gun, as it is the quest line. While I really enjoyed it, it all seemed to "high-tech" for lack of a better term lol. Like just being in the forest more would have help I think. And cut out the part at the lab, and maybe put in a quest where you have to borrow Hati to go find Skoll for Throm. Get a deeper connection to Hati before he almost dies, than becomes your pet, lol.

Going around. blade edge mountains killing huge beasts or something and getting some kind bow or the first ever ranged axes like rexxar used in Warcraft 3 frozen thrown or in hots

MyViolador actually it makes sense. Guns are far easier to use than war bows. Makes sense for someone not focusing on marksmanship to use a gun instead of a bow..

I've actually played low lvl pvp with a couple dwarf hunters transmoged to look like the hunter from the vanilla cinematic haha. Had the bear and same rifle and even lol.

I like how the weapon is described to make the sound of cracking thunder with every shot, yet the sound effect in-game is that lame thing they added in Cataclysm...... I miss the old rifle sound effect :/
I personally love that old shot gun blast for everything. Even the "automatic" things like flying machines

I agree, i see no connection to beasts, or why this lore and weapon fits the beast master. The survival hunter seems more like a beast master than the beast master does. Anyway sorry.

This is the only hunter artifact that i absolutely hate...mainly because i just hate BM in general.
why? I recently switched to BM after 7.1.5 and having a great time. Have you tried it after the patch? Regardless, have a good one fellow Huntmaster! :D

arent the vrykul a race created by the titan keepers to serve them? doesnt the vrykul see the titan keepers as thier gods and creators? how come and how does such a vrykul has the odacity to challenge thier titan creators? r they not supposed to be with odyn in halls?

Abdullah Omari If I remember correctly, it was one of the first quests in Howling Fjord, where we saw a dialogue between two Vrykul about them being forsaken by their gods. It was because the curse of flesh affected their children and they were born weak and small. There could be more reasons, but I'm certain Blizzard wouldn't make this up because of one single artifact questline.
A lot of the vrykul afflicted by the Curse of Flesh, including King Ymiron considered that the Titan Keepers abandoned them, thus becoming bitter at them. It's a contributing factor to a lot of them being so free to worship the Lich King in Wrath.

I'm still bitter about Titanstrike, and I can't wait to get rid of it. Mechanical wonder infused with magic and shit, yeh yeh it's cool and all...Doesn't strike me as a Beastmaster weapon...unless you go by the 'commercial big game hunter' *cough* 'class fantasy'. I don't mind if you do, I really don't. And had it just been a few of the appearences that were mechanical/guns, I wouldn't have such a thorn in my side over it. But it is.
It's just a boatload of fugly guns. And an even uglier 'bow'. The bow looks like a child's toy, except this thing will electrocute you to a crisp if you touch it wrong. The mage tower appearence is the only one I marginally like, and it's only because it's not straight up a gun. It's some middle-thing between a gun and a crossbow.
It makes not a lick of sense to me with this POS gun.
Second is Hati. The idea isn't bad. But it falls so flat I can't even... Hati is just some mutt that belongs to Thorim, who 'likes animals'...yet doesn't bat an eyelid over the near-death it goes through, then has to be infused into Titanstrike for life-support... "OH YOU LUV ANIMOLS, U TAEK IT" ...I don't want your stupid suicidal dog that you don't even give a shit about...
Furthermore, Hati doesn't do anything other than just being there, forever ruining any transmog that isn't in some way blue. It doesn't interact with anything, it is NEVER mentioned beyond the intro quest... He's just there. I have 0 reason to care about it. I only got a small sense of spiteful joy whenever I managed to get Hati killed.

This is probably the weakest artifact quest. Robot gnomes, titans, a gun that looks like it's straight outta 40k....none of it has ANYTHING to do with beast mastery. Remember Rexxar from WC 3? NOW THATS a fucking beast master.
