I'm having a lot of trouble with this. Judging the space of my vehicle and gaps in the road and being able to judge so quickly as to if I can get through or not. I hope this improves with time I am only 6 lessons in
The perception of space around you will improve with practice, for now try to judge the space from far, look for at least 1 metre of space on either sides of your car, if the gap ahead appears that you will not have a metre of space to the sides then slow down. Try this rule, 'The smaller the gap, the slower you go.. and the lower the gear' hope that helps :)
I learn more from you than my actual driving instructor. When I ask questions he usually doesn’t kno the answer. It’s annoying because it’s £25 hourly and sometimes he uses his phone which makes me feel unsafe as I am still learning how to drive
Your video is very helpful. I made two attempt in my practically driving and both time I got serious fault on judgment meeting and clearance. Please can you give me advice and explain me what’s rule for clearance and meetings situation? My driving test area got plenty of narrow road and band road, my examiner both time took me narrow and band road with vehicle parking both sides. During my lesson I deal well with judgment on meeting and clearance but in my exam I do serious mistakes without I seen. I don’t know why? But I think because of exam stress.
Hey with meeting and clearance The smaller the gap the slower you go Always try and maintain a meter of space to the sides and 2 car lengths infront and behind That creates this long oval space which is your safety net If you feel like the gap you’re going through is smaller than that then you should slow down Once slow you should gear down Watching both sides of your vehicle The key is always slow control Hope this helps :)
@@ClearviewDriving Thank you so much. Please explain what’s it’s mean long oval space? How do I measure gaps or find 2 car length in my behind? Sorry for keep asking.
@@muhammadrofiqulbary1575 it’s just a rough gap The space behind cannot be controls as others can drive too close. So always leave enough space infront so you don’t have to brake late or harsh
@@ClearviewDriving Thank you again for your clarification. Am I right when I give way or giving priority to other traffic my right side (obstacles or parking vehicles my left side) I have to give 2 car gaps front my parking left vehicle before I stopped .
@@muhammadrofiqulbary1575 yes aim to leave 2 cars length to be able to move away easily but if the space that you’re giving way in is small then leave as much space as you feel safe moving of with So again smaller the space the slower you go :)
I failed my test with this the examiner grab the steering wheel away. I was really close to the park car. I’m so nervous too that they. I booked for next exam but I’ll do more lessons too.
Watched this just to brush up on some stuff before my test and I passed today with 1 minor!! Your videos really helped me :)
