I went to pick strawberries for a couple of weeks and had a strong hayfever reaction while there. Thanks to your video, i knew to pick dead nettle and nettle. Took 2-3 cups a day, mornings with my green tea, evenings with chamomile. They worked wonders, i had no need/desire for medication. I've been telling friends about it too. Thanks for the videos you make, i love them!

I must be brave and collect nettles. I've got dead nettle. I wash and freeze them. And I freeze cleavers. Wash dry and freeze them. I have a a cup of dead nettle, and cleaves tea every morning. Doing it just over a month now. I'm loving how it makes me feel. Thank you for all your research and wisdom. ❤️ Xxxxx

Epic video guys we've got two hay-fever sufferers in our family, two legged and four! Definitely going to try this. I love nettles, great for animal health and human.
Did you use dried Hawes (berries) for the hawthorn tea?

Nice tip with the tin foil!! I'm going to use that with my dandelion flowers and red clover! I've never really used nettles before for myself cos I don't have allergies but bought the odd pack of tea in the past to put in my son's bath when he was little and had eczema and it really worked. Recently my friend came out in hives and I suggested she try nettle tea, she said it worked a treat plus helped her sleep better.

But why do you recommend to dry the herbs in the sun? I have learnt that they lose their medicinal properties faster if they are exposed to direct sunlight and therefore it is best to choose a shady place to dry them in. 🧡

Great Idea. Not many dead nettles near here so will have to get seed to grow in my 'food forest/cottage garden' but I do know where to get quite a bit of nettle. I have also been taking a spoon of raw local honey to help as well. No more prescribed medication for me, I hope. Over the counter stuff just doesn't work for me.

@@minervabeans9746 oh I see. What kind of Lamium (red/purple dead nettles are lamium purpureum). I couldn’t find any info on the ground cover one being edible but so far dead nettles appear to be nontoxic to humans. You may consider whether the ground cover was modified or sprayed prior to sale. I came across “spotted” and “silver” dead nettles info, here is some info on one type, you can start at this site: www.gardenersworld.com/plants/lamium-maculatum-beacon-silver/
