I show the creation of my crosscut sled for the table saw - and what features I think are useful. This is not a step by step guide where I go into details. It is inspiration. ▶️▶️▶️ A video will follow with an extension for miter cuts and a flip stop block.
The cost was very low, as with all my projects. I used mostly wood scraps and only had to buy a birch plywood plate around € 10 with a thickness of 6 mm (size 100x60cm). I cut this in half, then made the millings and finally glued them to each other. This made milling easy and without the need for special cutters.
Screwing the fence in place took far longer than you can guess from the video. I also needed more than one hole/screw to do it. Aligning it to the saw blade with an angle was far too inaccurate, so I adjusted the fence using the 5-cut method. How this works, there are numerous instructions from other craftsmen.

Or maybe some detail posted in description, what wood, how thick, some measurements….? Just an idea to compromise perhaps

I came across your channel while looking for inspiration. I think the idea with the handles is brilliant. I will build it like this.

I have the same saw in South Africa. I see you've put plastic on the front, is that to improve the dust extraction?

Yes, exactly! The machine is quite dusty...
