As a main mage I would never insta-blink cheap shots.
If you are doing the pre-running and I don't blink, in the time you realize and come back at me, cheap is almost gone, so I can just save blink, or I can only then blink for a full range advantage and untouched shield.
Another cringy sub 1500 MMR clueless lebronze james whom never heard of cold snap and what exactly it does 😂
That's right. It's worth it to test if the Rogue is gonna pre-run or just goes for hemo or even 2. Hemos wont kill you with the shield, but blinking at the wrong time just might end the fight in Rogues favor. If you happen to not have shield up, good Rogue will be even more convinced that you will insta blink and you are even more safe :D

If they open, already be dwarf, stoneform, blind, restealth, see step 1
my reply is 5 months late but its valid. If you want to beat SPECIFICALLY orc warrs you have two options
1) go hemo with opportunity (so your garrote ticks for a lot), and be experienced enough to kite them with backpedal and crippling poison
2) go combat and empty a whole adrenaline rush on them (having riposte talent helps a lot)

For the AA-Stop: There is Position you dont AA but you can do aSpezial attack. You dont have to do the 180 degree move. Im sure you know that but just in case. 😂

It was good of you to attend my mage vs rogue clinic I held last night. You seemed to learn alot from your deaths.
This tactic works very good on bad mages. A good mage will never instantly blink the cheap shot. He will look at the rogue first, if he's running forward, he will just sit in the kidney shot and by the time the rogue realizes he didn't blink, the kidney is over and mage has a great advantage. I played both mage and rogue, also alot of warriors like to charge and instantly move to the direction where they expect mage to blink. So I never instantly blink warrior charges either when I'm on my mage.

if you Blind > Sap > Cheap shot > break sap with *Gouge* > evis, he would have died Im thinking.
I play rogue and have a mage friend and in classic he was definitely the hardest class to beat, needed spiders belt gyrofreeze trinket and more. But we need a guide on how to 1v1 mages in WOTLK classic because we are at 1800 rating and while I can beat him sometimes it’s HARD AF STILL

You make me wanna pvp with my mage now that your teaching me all the little rogue tricks:) Serious question do you ever run into anybody who can still beat you cause in my experience rogues are Greta pvp but if you can’t keep the high ground your so squishy. I was never big pvp until wrath but like in wrath DKs and Mages were the most difficult for me to beat.

RvM is all about putting pressure and forcing cds, you cant just blink and hope for the best....R1 frostbolt into grenade is a great move after blink yet 99% of mages try to hardcast a poly
Or play dagger rogue with imp sprint. Because a really good mage would never let you beat him as hemo/cheap shot shinanigans.
