I did it! I painted two canvas’ using this video as a guide. They are for my sons’ space room theme. I like how you add subtitles to tell us what your doing with the paint. A lot of other videos don’t and that is very helpful. Thank you 😊
I like the texture on the 'planets'. It's just my opinion of course but I think the 'planets' should have had a lot more shadowing. I am an artist and use all sorts of mediums to paint with. Recently I have gotten into doing acrylic pours and so far created two. I am currently working on one of them adding a planet or two, stars, etc. but am using my airbrush. I find that by using the airbrush I can create soft 'gases' and 'clouds' and add soft colors. I have a couple of stencils I purchased from Amazon and used one of these to create interest.
I'm no expert, but I think it's because her coloured paint is transparent and her black paint isn't. That means her black paint completely covers the white and the coloured paint shows through, it shows the white paint.
I love your work. Painting outer space scenes is my favorite so watching your tutorials is especially great! Just wondering, can you give me any more details about the star spatter? What kind of brush are you using - softer bristles? Also how thinned is the paint? Sometimes mine is too thick 50/50 ratio?

How did the black space become smooth when she repainted it? It should have showed the same lines that planets did? Wondering????

I think when she rolls it out it makes it smooth and then the black paint just covers over it
