@@williamdavidm.l6665 Lol, been to plenty of those countries, and there's a big difference between rolling certain rs as part of one's accent, which is perfectly natural and totally not a thing to shame anyone for, versus affected r rolling for dramatic effect, or whatever this guy is doing.
I also cannot deal with the exaggerated r rolling, doesn't add anything to the video but irritation

@@all-bonesjones I've just started playing the game and have only got ending e yet but so far terror and starvation fells like a better way to experience the game still easily killed crow mauler and seems to have no resource problems at all expect for torches
so does the problems with terror and starvation only really come after legarde or what?

A perfect example of the irrelevance of Luck is an experience I and many other people had in the sequel, where we found the salmonsnake talisman (which to my knowledge is the same as the soul in effect) and dying before we can save, meaning it's gone
This isn't the first time hearing about this game, but I think this beginner's guide is what is going to get me to buckle down and play it. Wish me luck lol

Funny I just started and every single flip I did was heads (like 10 in a row) until the one flip that was life and death, of course i picked heads (i honestly started thinking it was bugged to always be heads) and got my first tails and died in a very brutal fashion lmao
When the name of the game is a difficulty, it means it will be a hard time. But when it’s the bottom difficulty, it means the game won’t let you play on normal or easy mode, there is option of hard and harder

1. If their are no enemies in the area you can safely rest.
2. If you rest in an unsafe area, that PERMANENTLY disabled the afor mentioned feature.
3. If you just use the "safe" bed [I'm using the Tortures] you don't have to worry.
That outlander sounds like a DnD character I was going to make for Curse of Strahd. This is a perfect primer to get me eased in to it.

If i had a nickel for every time a skeleton gave me useful advice on a game, but right in between the advice is a momentary section of him telling me what a skill issue i had, id have two nickels. It isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened more than once

I head about this game and wanted to play so much on mobile (don't have pc), and ended up buying the game from itch and play it through Joiplay lol.
But, still I didn't expect to die getting mauled by dogs though.

on normal difficulty? i'd have a torch out whenever you're going through a dark area you're unfamiliar with. on higher difficulties? yes

You should still be careful with the whole “search and read everything mindset.” On my first playthrough I found a book that warped me to the endgame city and I got demolished by some stick man.

I started the game with the Knight on Fear and Hunger mode, clicked on the secret switch to gain one Barbarian just for the extra attacks. Ignored as much as the beginning as possible to sprint down to where Le'garde is and saved him. Also I did the kill the priest and get the soul stone and lesser soul to learn leg sweep.
Upon stumbling upon the thicket area I pushed my way through a few walls until finding a hallway that lead me down into a small room with a Lucky Coin on the ground. I was able to keep clicking on the coin until I was well over 75 coins needless to say I went on a little mad with that much power. After looting everything that I could the total number of Lucky Coins would not decrease past 60.
I have no idea if this will work on anyone else's game or if this is a bug from collecting the Wall Barbarian.

Not gonna lie i've never understood why people play hard moden thei first playthrough of video games, beginner mode is there for beginners
It’s safe to do that for AAA games because they all play exactly the same depending on the genre. But for games like this I definitely went with beginner since I didn’t have a clue how to play jt
Because people want a challenging first playthrough. It's not the same playing Hard on your first playthrough vs Hard on your second playthrough because you already have experience, it's not as hard anymore.
Of course, if they complain later, that's their problem.
