I really feel that Manson Gibson has been criminally underated. I believe that he needs to be highly elevated by the Martial Arts community and given the recognition he deserves. The training and the hardwork along with the motivation and passion this man has put in to be virtually undefeatable is unsurpassed. There also needs to be a lifetime achievement award given to this man who cares about kids and is helping them at no cost. He rates several different awards that apparently have not been given to him. He was a truly mechanized warrior in the ring and nothing could stop him. Thank you for showing us this video and hopefully you have more videos on him including full fights and even explanations. Thanks again ! A friend always !

Yes, I agree with the OP, the people that speak out against spinning techniques or any other kind of technique haven't mastered it to the level of a person like this man right here, so, they shouldn't speak out against it. They don't know what they're talking about, and so they just wanna influence others with their nonsense. Obviously, you have to know what you're doing when attempting techniques like this, they can be really effective when you know what the hell you're doing! 😆 This man, Mason Gibson, obviously knows what he's doing in watching these video highlights, and is very effective with spinning kicks and back fists. So, yeah, never listen to others who give negative advice, go work at it and do it yourself or train yourself to do it, and then put it to the test! Peace!

Manson Gibson uses Taekwondo. It has nothing to do with the martial art that Bruce Lee uses. He seems to mainly use Taekwondo's kicks. It seems that he learned Taekwondo from a very young age. Taekwondo is a traditional martial art in Korea. I know it very well because I am a Korean, the birthplace of Taekwondo. His kicks are very popular in Korea, too. His kicking video has garnered millions of views in Korea.

I'm no judge, but the accuracy of the kick at the end of a flurry of spinning fists was pretty impressive. You can see how he's snapping that spinning fist right before it lands. It uncoils. He's not just swinging his fist at the end of his outstretched arm, like a lot of those old PKA guys did.
I can see why he's called the Black Bruce Lee, because his fighting contains elements of many styles, but is 100% tailored to his needs.
Once he's stunned the opponent, he's classic slugger. He probably wouldn't do that without the gloves, but you can see the power and how he's just naturally putting his weight into the blows. Total natural. I can see why he was so dominant and also why no one could do what he did and survive.
Too bad he fought so long ago. Would be nice to see him in MMA, without those big boxing gloves on.

Fighting is all about landing and not how pretty you look. Like bruce lee says, Fighting shouldn't have a style. I think lots of professional fighters would've been better if they don't go with the rules from their coach.
Yes coach is there to teach you, but i think most of the time they hold u back when u are Fighting. Fighting should be with no style and concentrate on landing, instead of learning style. Different opponents have different style and your style will always will get stopped against other style.
That was philosophy of Bruce Lee

Wish I was able to follow him during that time. Unfortunately during the late 80s I’d pretty much given up martial arts. Late 70s early 80s the two styles he were famous for is also something I liked. Praying Mantis I got hooked after seeing Bruce Lee Way of The Dragon.
