i wonder if uhmw tape would work as a 'lube' for cubes like this. usually the tape is used for high friction contact areas like slide drawers and machinery but it might work for things like this. would be neat for someone to give it a try

I wonder if roux would be better speedsolving this.
You would have to get used to m moves, but roux has a naturally lower movecount and tps, so the big cube wouldn’t impact it as much as CFOP does.

This cube is heavy! You are definitely need stronger magnets even if the plastic has the same thickness.
