Hes a cube reviewer so he always gets new cubes when they come out but since im too lazy to go to your channel I assume you aren’t, so if you have a good cube you probably don’t need to worry about getting a new one for a while.
For the 30mm cube there is already a really nice keychain version from Moyu. Also, if you take another 30mm cube you can replace the 2 pieces with holes in them, this way i was able to compete at the Salzburg Open 2020 with a cube this size ;) Got a 15 sec solve with it in an official competition xD
I actually just purchased the 3x3 since my original cube ended up breaking, it used plastic pegs instead of screws, one peg snapped so i went without a cube for almost a year now, i went here to learn and now im here for cubes

This cube is practically identical to the MoFang Jiaoshi mini cubes which are $2.85. They're adjustable like this one and have great corner cutting as well (I bought 9 with 10 more on the way lol)
I actually have the QiYi MS 3x3 as my first speedcube in my possesion (and as of now the only, the package from speedcubeshop bought with discount code JPERM highly recommend it is on the way). The only reason I have it is because while on vacation on a coastal tourist city when there's all those tavens, one of those happened to sell them (I did not know that this was the QiYi MS 3x3 at the time, all that I knew was that it's a magnetic 3x3) and I was sceptical at first but later I went for it. The other 2 cubes I had before that were a random cheap cube and a rubik's brand cube on which I have learned the beginner method and F2L, and now on my QiYi I have learned beginner OLL and PLL as well as the basics of advanced F2L and now I'm learning full PLL. Safe to say that when I'll get other cubes in the future, this one will be standing somewhere in its original display box

I think that you should practice and learn algs evenly. Don't learn too many algs that it takes way to long to recognize but also don't practice bad habits and not learn algs just because you don't want to. Just my opinion though and I want to see what Father Dylan says about this.

I have a key chain cube- thank God for it only being screw attached, it was the cube I got that made me want to learn, and if I couldn’t get rid of the keychain, I might’ve just gave up.

I have the small gan and a regular sized one and honestly. The BEST mini cube is the gan. Super smooth turning and mine can corner cut and reverse corner cut 45° PERFECTLY with a beautiful sound. Recommend.
if you are wondering yes it is actually lubed from the start because when I first ordered it when I open the package it was veryslipperyand at first I didn't know what lube was so I thought that it was just made that way so I thought that it would be slippery forever but no because right now it's actually kind of dry and not slippery at all
