Great reaction! This was done when she was just 18 years old. She wrote the song when she was 14 years old. I think this one only has the stripped version but a lot of her songs do have both. There are some videos of her singing this at her concerts. She was born in Morocco to Moroccan parents. They moved to Canada when she was 1 year old. You cannot go wrong reacting to any of her songs but the stripped versions do let her voice shine. Currently she is 23 years old and soon to be 24 next month. You are pronouncing her name the way she does if that helps.

Faouzia is currently competing in Singer 2024 in Hunan, China. She is one of the leaders in the competition. Check out "I wanna dance with someone who loves me" or perhaps her live version of "Fur Elise".

You are in for a treat. She is amazing.
I love Faouzia's dark voice and her belting gives me chill. You can find most of her songs in different versions on her channel, but I prefer the stripped versions. Faouzi is not only multilingual (English, Arabic and French) but also a multi-instrumentalist. She plays the piano, guitar, violin, djembe and other percussion instruments. She gave a short live online concert "Live In Concert from the Burton Cummings Theatre" that is also on her channel. The last song of this concert after the credits is "Elon" which is one of my favorites. Also "You don't even know me (stripped)" and "Tears of Gold (stripped)" are awesome. She recently sang Ludwig van Beethoven's "Für Elise" and did a wonderful job with that.

Your reaction is so well done. I’m Canadian. If you like ‘live’ stripped performances, a real treat is her concert at Burton Cummings theatre. To an empty theater (Covid) ..just her and a piano, after the credits is song Elon.. much recommended for the haunting beautiful whistle tones at the end.
Also , the Chinese Singer contest is all live. It’s a contest of music professionals. Each episode is awesome. Her interpretations are so good.
