This seems like a great option. I’m considering building my own onewheel out of a hoverboard, do you think this could be applied for that use as well? I’m not sure at what resistance a hoverboard activates as the signal for the footpads is usually mechanically cut off entirely for activation.

This is interesting, but I'm not too familiar with the One wheel /Fun wheel. I thought they used tilt sensors, but what do the foot pads do?
They make sure you are actually standing on the board so your wheel doesn't go zooming away when it's tilted without anyone on it
I see that your website says "You require to purchase only one stompie for your Funwheel." but obviously there is the front and the back that need to have foot sensors attached to ride so can you please explain?
The sensors are only in the front. The back doesn't need sensors.
I had seen people purchase 2 stompies by mistake so I put that comment in to clarify.

Question for you. I am making a cheap version of a onewheel out of a hoverboard. Would this foot sensor work for me hooking it into the gyro of the hoverboard? I’ve been trying to get the FRS I ordered to work but it’s like it works in reverse turning the board off when I press it instead of activating it. Not sure what the deal is with it but wanted to see if this would work instead?
If fsr doesn't work this will not work either. Depends how the controller is programmed.
Thanks for the quick reply. I think I’m just going to have to order a momentary switch and put it close to flush with the top of the grip tap to break the connection instead.
