Sounds great, will try this with my gear. You could simplify further in connecting the Digitakt directly to the iPad, or did the focusrite bring something to the table for you?
We are feeding the Digitakt audio output into BAM for further signal processing with a filter FX. Then we take out the audio fully merge from the audio interface to the video switch we use for video recording.
@@ImaginandoPt Just to highlight for anyone unaware that you can use the Digitakt as the audio interface too - run the audio into the iPad via usb and take the audio from BAM out of the Digitakt L/R out to the video switch. There's a setting in the Digi to allow the internal direct audio out to be switched off, so you only hear audio routed through or from the iPad. Amongst all the other things that the Digi's do, if you don't need preamps they do a great job as an audio interface.
I'm thinking of buying BAM to complement Syntakt but there's a few things I'm wondering. Can you modulate syntakt or digitakt with BAM's LFO? Can BAM send automation? And can you have more than two LFO per track in BAM somehow? And can I just resample quickly from syntakt into the sampler in BAM?
Hi there! We already have sync for the LFO's, while scales will be addded in a near future! Can you please explain better what you mean by macros in MIDI or what you want to know about the macros in the devices in BAM and i will be more that happy to explain whatever you need!
@@lockedinfaded When you learn AUv3 plugin parameters, they work just as regular internal BAM parameters. You can assign them to macro slots in your engine's panel in the device rack. In fact, learned AUv3 parameters fill the macro slots in the device rack by default while they're available.
