@russellkellett9535 You either have poor taste, or are too young to appreciate what is essentially Star Wars for adults. Yes, the show is a slow burn relative to most of Star Wars, but slow does not automatically equal boring. It's absolutely riveting drama packed with incredible real-world commentary. Some of the best scenes are literally just Mon Mothma talking to someone else, even stacked against incredible action sequences like the Aldani heist.
And sure, a child would find that boring, because there aren't spaceships or laser blasts constantly flying across the screen, and there's no talk of the mystical, powerful jedi. But that isn't the point of the show. It's a show that is meant to be about the everyday person living under the oppressive rule of the Empire, and what their day to day struggles are like, and how they rise to overcome their oppressors. If that still just sounds boring to you, you may just not care for nuanced political drama, and that's fine, but it's neither bad nor boring just because it's something you don't enjoy.
I can admit though that the first two episodes in particular aren't overly impressive and fall away short of what the rest of the show manages to deliver - so I would not be surprised to know that anyone watched only first or second episodes and assumed it wouldn't get any better. But anyone who stopped watching after the first few episodes probably made a huge mistake, because it's literally the best Star Wars content since the original trilogy, with some of the most intense, edge of your seat television I've seen in years.
