@ there was an article That the fact that the origin of her name is related to the Greek mythology in which the series is immersed suggests the character will have an important role to play in the upcoming seasons so i thought about that that’s most likely it
My theory is coach is alive. They think he burnt the cabin, but in reality we only saw him grab matches because he was struggling to make a fire in his cave (could be a sign of low oxygen) So regardless, they hunt him and cant find him. While hunting one of the other girls, they get reacued before she dies. (My guess is van because of the cancer) Coach could still he there. He had enough ammunition to survive a very long time.
I believe that there is only the 7 because the Antler Queen could just not actually be there because we never see her eat. Also the group in season 2 never mentions missing one person.
Is it true the YELLOWJACKETS creator's have a five season plan ? If this is true other elements are going to have to come into play at some point. Be that 11:06 other survivors or an out right supernatural element i cant see 3 more season or interesting seasons given what we have before us . And i say that as a die hard fan ❤ .
I really do hope it’s akilah the only thing is that I don’t think she’s gone full feral like the other survivors At least not yet? With her not rly believing in the wilderness when she talked to tai and wanting to rescue javi. I could see after the wilderness she wanted nothing to do with the other girls (and Travis) But come on Atleast one JV girl had to have survived!

I definitely think Melissa is the final survivor with her having more of a important role in season 3 makes it make sense
Also I think they may kill Gen witch will develop Melissa character even more because most of her screen time was with Gen in season 2
