Cool idea but falls flat. No point in all investigation part if all sumps up to talking to 1 npc, getting in the location he pointed out and going through the woods until literal monster will spawn. Would be so much better if one of npc's through the map was mimic already and you need to figure out who is it. And if it was random every playthrough even better. Maybe in his next game.
The mimic of this game same as skin walker, could mimic human voice when howling to lure humans into deep woods.
