Check the set of wires under your truck. Believe me i took this advice and when I inspected the wires under my truck where the transmission and the shaft meet. The wiring harness was rubbing so bad that it exposed the wires. Those wires lead to engine. As soon as i got them closed back up problem solved and my truck runs way better than before. Ever since i bought my 2009 suburban this is the best it ever ran.
A bad 02 sensor can give the computer bad data, which can sometimes throw off the air/fuel ratio and cause misfires, but usually, that would cause the whole engine or one Bank to misfire not one cylinder.
The 02 sensors fuse, and relay for the 2003 Tacoma are located in the engine compartment labeled A/F. I would check the fuse/relay and test the wiring.
No, pretty sure that would throw a lean or rich code or at the very least an upstream sensor code which is what does the work to adjust those trims. This downstream just monitors it after the cat

😅😅😅
😅😅
how do you test this further? i want to test the wiring harness that the O2 connects to.
I have 2 new o2 sensors, new fuses and I still get the P0036. Annoying.
Maybe an exhaust leak?
Are both sensors run to the same fuse or relay? Thanks.
Can this cause a misfire in cylinder 3, on a 4.3l 2007 chevy sliverado?

@@HVAC_Mechanic oh okay, thank you bc the vehicle threw that p0036 code and the cylinder 3 misfire.
03 Tacoma 2 new cats & sensors still throwing a p0036 do you know if the fuse could be bad ?

Unfortunately the fuse is good wheres the relay?
I have a 2009 Chevy Aveo LT and I have that code 0036 on my car and I don't know where that would be at in my car
This code doesn’t mean the air/fuel ratio isn’t out of wack?

I bought a car with a stolen catalytic converter, but rebuilt with a new pipe. So I'm thinking I'm gonna get all sorts of codes.
what fuse could be popped?
The fuses for the 02 sensor is under the hood in the fuse box. The fuse box top should had a diagram where certain fuses go then you could check them
@@msgaming71601 yes fuse is fine replaced o2 second time.
shouldnt be a fuse unless several HO2S codes are going off
