Awesome commentary very helpful very thorough and exact very pleased with the information and the video I wish more people would make videos as professional as that
We have a 2019 Chevy Silverado that's throwing a p0030 code. We changed the 02 sensor and checked the wiring and seems to be popping the 89 fuse. Could use any help or tips. Thanks
Fuse 89 is "02 Sensor A". There likely is a wiring problem. Be sure you have the correct 02 sensor, as there should be a total of four. P0030 is Bank 1, Sensor 1.
Hello sir, im having this trouble on my ford fiesta 2011. I replace a new o2 sensor, after i did, this code appear and when i start my engine, there will be some white smoke come from the sensor. How is that?
@AlexanderAbraham90 well I bought a original one cost 18k here in the philippines 🇵🇭 and now the check engine is gone .. The first one I bought is not original that 12k here in the philippines 🇵🇭 but the seller said it's original but it's not
Im having code p0050 on a holden captiva 2008 petrol. Iv changed the o2 sensors and checked that im getting power to the leads but im still getting the same code. Heater control circuit. I cant figure it out because im getting power chamged sensors.
Yes. A faulty heater circuit means the ECU has no control over fuel mixture, the engine is running in emergency mode (the fuel mixture is set according to factory default tables, not according to what the O2 sensors are actually reading), and this might indeed result in the engine running rich as a result based on other factors involved (for example if your engine is actually getting slightly less air than the factory default mixture setting assumes, the final mixture in emergency mode will be too rich).
@@dexietyy7922 In that case it's rather unlikely, as downstream sensors don't usually affect fuel mixture. It can happen on some cars, though, especially more modern ones (where the downstream sensors may have an impact on fuel mixture for environmental reasons), so only someone familiar with your specific car can answer that.

Thanks ... now I know where to look.

Thank you. Excellent video.
Thank you for sharing.
To the point. Thank you!
Can this cause rich running issues?

@@Case_ I have this error on my after cat 02 sensors will this still effect the fuel mixture? My pre cat sensors are 100% fine

I tried replace one of the wires and a fuse that seemed burned. Now my engine is smoking
