I'm with you on the hanky, so many uses and I'm never without one. Wiping sweat off my face, drying hands if there is no towel, wiping sweat off my watch strap, wiping my kids noses....
I use the Keysmart Magconnect Pro. It costs slightly more than the Magconnect but it is more secure. I have it attached to my keys and in turn it is connected to a Victorinox Multiclip along with a Victorinox Compact.
I’m glad I saw that your tracker is coming apart because I was thinking about buying one of those and I was on the fence between that one and the one that you can actually charge that comes with a proprietary charger and I can’t think of the company, but I think I saw it on John gadget’s channelso I’ll probably go with that one instead of the rolling square
I love your channel !! You are so smooth and do such a great job showing and describing each article. My only advice is your background, it needs some help. Greetings from Southern California.
Thanks Alan! Yes I’m aware of that. As the channel grows I will be making small improvements with each video. Thought I should just start now rather than waiting for everything to be perfect :)
Ian, Well Done. I’m an American who would appreciate doing some compare and contrast between our 2 country’s EDC concepts. If this sounds favorable, let’s have a go. Cheers. RBB
Keep up the content! Good video. Love watching Marine X as well. My tier one carry is as follows: Todays Carry: Front left pocket. -Knife of choice for the day. Today is Benchmade mini Adamas -Ekster parliament wallet w/ air tag - Chap stick Right front pocket - Apple AirPod pro (gen 2) -Fenix PD25R -Classic zippo lighter (stonewash finish) Fifth pocket (small coin pocket) - Commemorative Coin Back Right pocket -Hank from Mighty Hanks Back left pocket - IPhone 14 Pro Max Watch - Apple Watch Ultra 2 daily or Rolex Pepsi for nicer dress days Keys -JRW Tough clip for truck key fob -Orbit key organizer for house keys (Separate key rings both have air tags) Tier 2: I have an alpaka utility pouch loaded out with a ton of useful gear!
I was wondering: why not keep the main tools of the Manager SAK but lose the LED scale (I really see no use for the small LED; your phone or a dedicated torch is better). Because I really like the screwdriver/bottle opener (I carry a Rambler). You only add a smidge of bulk with that setup compared to your modded Classic SD.
First time I have seen your channel, nice video. Can you start putting time stamps in your videos? When I visit a video for the 2nd 3rd… 100th time… it makes it so much easier for me to find what I was looking for. It also gives me an idea of what the video is going to be about.
I can see you costing me money mate, I'm not normally a fan of pocket torches that have the bells and whistles as I tend to just need a on/off torch but that looks smart and at a tenner I can justify it to myself. The wife on the other hand....... Cheers for the vid mate.
Well I've ordered two but I doubt she'll get one. 😂 She has accepted a few of my 'suggestions' but she ain't exactly fully onboard. She knows that if I'm about then I can generally magic up whatever is required but prefers to wing it for the 90% of the time that she's out without me.
I like the idea of tier 1 edc aka " on person " edc, I myself carry a lot of tools, but sorry to say your magnetic keyring may fail you in a big way on some crucial occasion , it can get lost, Murphy's law , great video anyways )
