I will add that she’s a big upgrade for Tighnari teams because he especially has the field time space to support her, as opposed to alhaitham who she is an upgrade for but not as much.

Had Miko since first banner. People simply do not understand her rotations and she is elegant and provides a "dancing" playstyle especially if you add Xianyun to the mix.
It blows my mind that there are people who still believe she needs to eeeqeee. I just saw this last week! Also somebody said she was "married to nahida" I've not had nahida on my yae's team since baizhu's release. I play her on field with kazuha baizhu and fischl
@@vbarreiro The complaints about her prior to dendro weren't damage related they were playstyle and element related so I'd say the original comment is correct. Complaints were "E is clunky and doesn't have invincibility frames, long field time, fischl is better, turrets should reset after burst". People genuinely didn't know how to play her and a lot still don't. I said electro related because people though electro was in a bad place because of reactions, which had nothing to do with her personally. With all that said dendro made electro better, which ofc consequently improved her.
I think people heavily underrate how useful her auto targeting really is. Basically any enemy that is hard to reach like flying enemies or enemies that pop in and out of ground are child’s play for her. Also, enemies that are easily staggered, don’t get staggered by her turrets but they still take so much damage. I find myself using her so much lately because of how comfy she feels to play against these types of enemies.
Another plus about Yae is she doesn’t actually need to be near enemies to deal damage against them. So when you’re fighting bosses like the Tulpa or Icewind Suite bots that have big AOE attacks, you just simply need to set down the turrets before they do their attacks and then just back away from them to avoid dying. And at the same time you’re not losing time in the abyss by doing so because she’s constantly doing damage passively.
Well said. She got so much better in this Abyss rotation simply because the auto target turret can hit the serpent, wenut and drake regardless of their invulnerable phases.

The thing is..... Her E skill does not have an invisibility frame, meaning if she gets attacked during that animation she will get interrupted and knockback Unlike Mona who can dodge with her E skill
@@N-ew7sr No, that's skill issue. Been using her since day 1 and her dashes are good for pre-emptive dodging, not the same way you use dodges which have s. It's not okay to listen to just listen community census on characters, since you need to form your own opinions.

I'd argue she's the best healer for furina team and not only that she even gives u new playstyles. Ppl, if u have furina and still didn't get xianyun - pull for her while she's still here you won't regret!
A warning to new players who wants Miko and Shenhe. To ascend them past level 40, you need to: 1. Finish Archon Quests up to Chapter 2 Act 1 - Ritou Escape Plan. 2. Go to Watatsumi Island (which is quite far from Ritou). 3. Finish "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest to get the key to Enkanomiya. 4. Finish "The Still Water's Flow" to open the way to Enkanomiya. 5. Finish "From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku" to unlock the ascension material boss. As you might guess, this takes a LONG time, and there are several powerful enemies, like Hydro Mimics, Bathysmal Vishaps, and a Pyro Lector, that you have to defeat to complete the entire quest chain.
Thanks for info I'll be completing these as I've planned to spent only 30 fates on Yae if I don't get her (most likely that's the case) I'll save for Kazuha/Shenhe/Yelan reruns
I know this is weird, but I actually main Rosalina in Smash Bros. And found her playstyle to be pretty similar. She’s a glass canon that really specializes in doing damage with her “summons” and fluidly dodging at the same time. She’s always on the move; never standing in one place for to long. She damages but letting her “turrets” do the work while she effectively dances around the dangers to ensure she maintains the turrets uptimes. Like Rosalina, most people don’t really get the appeal but for the few of us who do, when it clicks, it’s such a fun and rewarding playstyle. Unrelated but I also find it funny that Yae’s signature weapon (Kagura’s verity) is reminiscent of Rosalina’s Comet Observatory.
@@Defi4nc3s1it’s not that people forget but there’s better team for her to deal more team DPS than just Yae. Like yes dual DPS with Raiden and Kazuha, you have Bennett as defensive or Baizhu which is one of my fav.
She was my first ever 5*, and while it took me a very long time to be able to ascend her, I'm glad I pulled her. She's been a staple character in my account and she's my second most built and invested character. I love the way she dances around the battlefield. This updated guide was great, and exactly what I wanted to see.
I remember getting Yae AND her weapon on accident when she reran with Childe bc I wanted Polar Star and a Thoma after winning my 50/50 on Childe. I was super confused bc I got her at 6 pity and her weapon at 1 and didnt know what to do with her. Shes now my main and I got Xianyun only for plunge Miko and on a lucky streak also got Nahida early. Shes an incredible damage dealer and super versatile. I started building her bc Dendro came out and I got Shenhe and was forced to do the Enkanomiya quest. I dont regret getting her even if I was kinda forced into maining her. Shes sitting comfortably at a 70/250 split with 1.7k Atk and about 300 EM after Nahidas buff. I even got Chevreuse just for her bc I wanted to try out Overload Yae and its fun as heck😂☺️
Lol my story is similar. I pulled for her when I didn't know what banners were about (she was my first ever limited 5*) and basically forced myself to using her because she was one of the few strong characters in my account. I love her now! One of my mains for sure
So glad you approve of the Raiden, Xiangling, Chevreuse, and Yae combo cuz that was how I set up my overload team and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm not the most knowledgeable team builder and my team ideas can be kinda cope sometimes but I try my best to make them make sense 😂
throw xiangling out the window and give them bennet. it may look less damage, but its not and you also have healing.. Even if you're limited by Circle impact then xD Also xiangling is very hard to build to have enough ER aswell as good damage.
@@theskywalker8416 i know they mean that, problem is, as i said, Xiangling really want A LOT of ER to work properly because her er generation suck, so you need VERY VERY good artifacts to be able to use her efficently, bennet only need hp and attack and not even in the artifact, since its only base attack so lvl and weapon.
Love her, but rn I‘m saving for Neuvillette and Kazuha. She is the top of my "2nd priority" list though! Hope her next banner after 4.4 won‘t take too long…
Love her. I'm glad her power keeps on increasing throughout time. My only regret is that I didn't pull her weapon on any of her previous reruns with Polar Star or Thundering Pulse. I'm tempted to to pull, but on the off chance of losing it to an already standard weapon 😭
Her value as a solid off-field electro DPS will be further increased if the assumption that overload is going to become meta comes true. Especially later when we're entering 5.x and more Pyro DPS(es) will be introduced, they can be paired with Miko in an overload team comp
I've been using Yae Miko for awhile now and I love pairing her with Yanfei. I just love seeing all the explosions. Now that Chevreuse is here that team is even better.
As a person who planned on wishing for her anyway, I’m definitely getting her! 73 pity right now, when I get back from work I’m gonna grind. Hope you all get the characters you want and don’t lose your 50/50 (unless you want to, and in that case I hope you get the standard 5 star you want lol)
My guy making me regret missing Chevy. Double-Electro, Double Dendro is my current go-to Yae team, with Fischl, Yae, Kirara, and Nahida. Granted, my Yae is C6, you can argue that she'll work in any team at this point. 👉👈
I love Yae and Tighnari together, it feels so smooth as satisfying, and the front loaded damage is INSANE. It does fall of a little bit as you go, but against things like the current abyss with Wenut and Ruin Serpent I feel like there's simply none better.
@@jynx1891 Well I'm still experimenting with Nahida. I don't usually bring her but I think now that I have her at c2 I should try and work her in due to the DEF shred. My go to before has always been Tighnari, Yae, Fischl and Yaoyao. Kirara fits in the healer slot too. With Nahida you have to either drop Fischl or Yaoyao depending on if you can do it without a healer or not. This abyss is pretty easy to run healer/shielderless on the second half due to the enemy (single target) barely attacking you. Previously I wanted to keep Nahida for my second side for hyperbloom/Nilou, but since Furina she's always going to be on one side I think lol.
@@jynx1891 Well best of luck to you :) I would say she's a strong unit nowadays but if I was thinking about her now I'd also be curious about Chlorinde since she's supposed to be an off field electro DPS, but that doesn't mean they won't work together.
I know this is an older guide but I'm really impressed at how common sense a lot of these teams are. I've been running Yae/Fischl/Nahida/Zhongli and I've found it quite comfy, but running Kirara with Instructor to split the difference between Nahida/Zhong and free up a team slot is just really smart stuff. The Yaeden Overload team with Chevreuse looks really fun too!
Yae is very valuable on my account. She makes my hyperbloom team busted, you can play her on and off field and she's damn pretty. I don't really find her E to be a problem at all personally, but I've been playing her for almost a year with signature weapon.
"Don't pull for future potential" is great advice I wish I had at an earlier point in time. Thought Nilou would be insanely OP with Nahida, and while they are very strong together, I don't really like playing Nilou teams and Nahida has plenty of other stronk options T_T

Yanfei is so good when you invest into her. You can go burgeon, easy pyro app on field, vap/melt. Since she's so CA focused and a cata user she can do reaction so well and controlled since CA dont have ICDs. She so versatile. In Japanese she goes "BOOM" (yes that's a plus). One of the best strong 4 stars.
New player here who started a few months ago, appreciate the guide. Was on the fence if I should roll for her but decided not to after this, didn't love her gameplay when I got to try her and the 4 stars being really bad on her banner is what got me to lean the other way in the end.
26:59 I cannot believe how I used to not even consider ever pulling cyno even on accident, he is actually so fun I know he has team requirements, doesn't have great value and you need to learn his skills. And even after you forgo all that, he can sometimes feel worse (depending on the abyss) than just playing hyperbloom But still, the long on field time you enjoy after furina, nahida, baizhu. The satisfaction of learning his combos. The great voice acting done by CyYu. And his power level is quite good just if the abyss doesn't do the wenut stuff or aoe enemies that don't group
Bruh you’re gonna have some much fun playing Itto when you get him, I promise. I didn’t think he’d be fun and now he’s just ridiculous,not to mention funny lmao. As far as Yae, I have a hard time getting decent EM rolls for her dendro and overload reactions, so it’ll be in awhile before I can see that full potential.
Yae+Fischl+YaoYao(Baizhu)+Sucrose(Kazuha) if you main her at least you have these three for f2p players same as me. Dealing 83k max burst dmg for complete rotation in abbys floor 12.
I’d recommend a character like Yae before someone like Hu Tao for new players especially she’s just way more flexible/universal and easier to play without needing vertical investment
@@RavenUwU605There's way too many characters you can work around with her than just vape Hutao. And Yae can hit the worms that everyone complains about. Or enemies like spectors. And she can make use of twice as many artifact sets for easier build purposes. Meanwhile, why would I want Hutao when I can use a Yanfei who also can hit ranged enemies, and save my primos for more important 5*s?

But Hu Taos damage in her vape teams is just beyond insane compared to Yae's damage in pretty much any team, especially after Xianyuns release which gives her access to wider AOE now. I understand the appeal of pulling for Yae, as she provides comfort. However objectively speaking, Hu Tao outclasses her by far. It's essential to provide accurate information to newer players, they don't know like we do. i 1000% agree with your points though, but the Hu Tao downplay is pretty crazy. like really crazy. she's like an SSS tier dps rn. I also nearly forgot about that Yanfei statement. that was the most morbidly insane thing you could’ve said. i won’t get into that though
Yae is soo fun to use, i got lost prayer in standard banner😭. And put it on her, its soo good not having to worry about crt rate stats. ❤️ crt dmg criclet, atk%, er, em, and hp. The fact that she isnt dendro centred, mskes her drive soo many reactions both on and off field. 😅 speaking as a Raiden, Yae furina taser user
My favourite Yae team is Tighnari/Fischl/Baizhu. Super comfy, great damage, rotation is easy as hell. You barely even have to aim since Tighnari's wreath arrows auto-aim so you can just shoot the floor for true aimless gameplay 🤣 So much damage and you'd have to try to die, it's my favourite effortless team.
If you replaced Fischl with Furina it should be far more powerful because Fischl is not as good in spread teams. She loses about 50% of her damage but it depends on the uptime of Yae Miko being on the field together with Oz.

@poke_zainy This is objectively wrong. Most of Fischl damage comes from her A4 passive in dendro teams but her passive will not activate if the on field dps does dendro damage. My Fischl does about 18k damage per A4 proc every .5 seconds. This will not happen with Tighnari. There has to be electro damage being applied by the on field character.
yae miko is the "i have synergies with S tier characters" type of shi, for me she's like an itto with a good element and the correct scalings, like she scales with EM and ATK which is perfect for dendro, she's electro which is also excellent for dendro, and she's also SORT OF an off fielder which is just insane for dendro, happened something like tighnari with furina well she with fischl or she with nahid has such an excellent synergy that even if her dmg is mediocre at best and her burst is expensive asf she can still aggravate, she can still off field and she can still quicken
She can be off field subdps for tighnari teams, works very well especially this abyss against the serpents. Yae, nahida, tighnari and zhongli/shielders that dont mess with aggravate
I like the plunge team but I find myself more comfortable replacing Xianyun with Baizhu. In the Xianyun team you can't swirl electro ever again on enemies after Nahida marks them, which is fine because most times you kill enemies in one rotation, but it makes me feel uncomfortable lol. Slotting Baizhu there provides EM from dendro resonance and his ascention passive, so it is pretty strong while being consistent in the second rotation.
This not about Yae, but what you said about Kazuha really resonated with me. I got his c1 on rerun and was planning to get c2 eventually, but now I dont think I will, because he gets less and less use...The only team he stays a staple for me is Ayakas freeze, that does not give a damn about an EM buff, and Neuvillette, who also perfectly does without. At this point I would rather go for Neuvis c2 because "haha funny numbers", interesting to see how the units shift.
For real, I used to use Kazuha a ton, especially after getting his c2r1 on his release banner, but I feel like I hardly use him anymore 😬 I seem to only use him when I want to do mono hydro shenanigans
i built a poison team i call watching the world burn. it amuses the hell out of me. it's also convenient because i can eat while playing. lol. with yae, zhongli, kokomi and support ganyu, i set everything off and watch the world burn around me. then when everything's dead, ganyu's recharged and the other guys only used their eskill so there's plenty of room for error.
I love Miko but she's very confusing to build so I've had her on 2 Gladiators and 2 Noblesse with very little ER. She's so scuffed but amazingly enough my first 36 star in the abyss was with this build in an Electro Charged team with Furina, Kazuha, and Kokomi. Safe to say that she got carried on that team. Maybe this video is a sign that I should build her properly soon.

I mean, the hate isn’t unjustified. Her E has a very long animation that can’t be canceled and it has no s, that just feels bad. And yes, off-field Fischl does the around the same damage, usually slightly more than an on-field Yae does.
My biggest struggle lately is deciding whether I need Yae or Fischl on a given team. It probably doesn't help that I've built them pretty similarly, maybe it will be easier for me to pick a role if I actually build them each into a role.
An advantage Yae Miko has is that it is relatively easy to gear her up because of her strong flexibility in artifacts. You will passively get her artifacts even if you are not aiming for her initially. That is one of the reasons you will often see Yae Miko builds with really high stat ratios. I do not have Yae Miko myself but I could immediately give her over 240 CV in artifact gear without having done any farming for her using 2pc 2pc. I am holding off on getting Yae Miko because of Clorinde and I already have c2 Raiden, c6 Lisa, c6 Fischl, c2 Keqing, c6 Sara, c4 Kuki, and c6 Beidou built. I feel like she would not do much for me that I already do. She would only be a for fun pull. I would pull her if I was more of a new player because of the large number or roles she can do. She is sort of like Ayato in that regard.
I'm on guaranteed and I'm already prepping for her. My Tighnari spread team and fischl + C1 Baizhu Aggravate team is waiting for her. I just wish I pull her early coz I'll be saving for Furina's rerun after.
Is it just me, or is the camera video just slightly off from the audio? Mouth movements don't seem to line up with what I'm hearing, and I've noticed that on other videos on this channel as well.... Other than that - great stuff!! These videos have really been helping me learn the game!
I like how the “best” hyperbloom yae team is a full limited 5star team. And hyperbloom is considered to be more of a f2p reaction. But in general yae aggravate is just much better even with dmc/yaoyao + fiscl + sucrose/zhongli/kirara
I think my only gripes with yae is I wish her turrets last maybe 3 seconds longer and that she could E faster. Other than that I think she’s great. Personally didn’t use her until her 2nd rerun where I picked up her weapon. She’s one of those characters that I don’t like how they feel without their bis but that’s just me. Love her in spread with Al Haitham. One of my favorite teams.
Yae was a happy accident for me. Thought she sucked and clunky back on her releases but when I got and tried building her after I accidentally got her on Layla's first banner I liked her a lot. Really good with tighnari and occasionally alHaitham
I swear, C2 really saved her for me 😂. I went golden troupe, furina kazuha Jean, not optimal but feels solid rotationwise. Ps: She saves my fingers with regards to mobile genshin. Yes I tap thrice but thats it I dont have to aim or anything
My Favorite Yae Miko team as of late as been Yae Nahida Raiden Bennett. It's a more Expensive team (in the time aspect, I'm f2p) since all 4 of those need Apex Builds for maximum output (And I'm sure Nahida C2 makes it Optimal but all my 5 stars are C0 and the team still cooks in Abyss). Raiden lets Yae use her burst and with Bennett, that burst hits like a truck, No IDC so every hit Aggrivates and with Raiden E Nahida always spreads for around big damage
Awww I would love to pull for her but the timing isn’t right. The 4 stars are ones I don’t really care for and I should probably save after going for Xianyun and Nahida
I feel like team I’m running is a little overslept on: Zhongli/C2 Nahida/Kokomi/Yae Miko I built Yae on EM and get 90k hyperblooms with the Widsith if it rolls EM. Zhongli is the only way to shred Dendro, Kokomi has full hydro uptime, and it’s slow enough that you get a few aggravates. Plus, Yae’s NA is such a wide AOE it feels like Kuki+
I really like Raiden Yae Kokomi Kazuha team. Used to be my choice for Abyss for a long time (until 4.2). I know it's damage isn't the best but it's very satisfying to use. Also, Yae Nahida Fischl Zhongli is defo one of my favourite teams for overworld. Vey lazy and braindead, 10/10 would recommend
I think if her turret placement was a little faster and have i-frames, I'd be into her, but without that, I just find her very tedious to keep setting up.
11:30 I run yae miko taser with kokomi, yae, fischl, and kazuha. with koko and kazu fully em built. since yae and fischl procs too much electro it gives opportunity to let kazuha(ult) and kokomi(on-field) to taze with hydro. otherwise buff with kazuha skill passive and venerers to both yae and fischl is just as strong. so it won't really matter who's doing the damage on both elements. heals on koko is already strong without hp build. so it is alright for me to build her as sub dps.
You’d be missing the AOE electro (from Miko plunging) to trigger bloom cores. Also Bennet may accidentally trigger Burgeon or burning. It would probably still 36* abyss with good artifact: you’re still talking about a team with two of the best attack buffs in the game. Sayu (built for EM, and healing bonus) might be better than Bennett. Sayu swirling Electro would make up for the lack of plunging on to the bloom cores while still giving healing. I think Jello advertised a team like that in the Furina guide.
Yae + Kagura + C2 Nahida + Skyward Atlas Viridescent Xianyun = 50k+ plunges. Put that together with her skill, Fischl's skill, and Nahida's skill ticks and, goodness, everything dies so quickly.
I don't feel like using Chevreuse although it's alright to use her at C0, I'm still recuperating from all those Bennett dupes when it COULD be Chevreuse cons instead.
It's ridiculous how people still consider her as an off field unit. . That's literally fichl but worse. Just use fiscl. Yae is an onfield dps unit that provides additional offfield dmg. She's cyno, but better.

I'd argue she's the best healer for furina team and not only that she even gives u new playstyles. Ppl, if u have furina and still didn't get xianyun - pull for her while she's still here you won't regret!
A warning to new players who wants Miko and Shenhe.
To ascend them past level 40, you need to:
1. Finish Archon Quests up to Chapter 2 Act 1 - Ritou Escape Plan.
2. Go to Watatsumi Island (which is quite far from Ritou).
3. Finish "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest to get the key to Enkanomiya.
4. Finish "The Still Water's Flow" to open the way to Enkanomiya.
5. Finish "From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku" to unlock the ascension material boss.
As you might guess, this takes a LONG time, and there are several powerful enemies, like Hydro Mimics, Bathysmal Vishaps, and a Pyro Lector, that you have to defeat to complete the entire quest chain.
Alternatively, you can visit a friend's (or a rando's) world to get the boss mats.

I know this is weird, but I actually main Rosalina in Smash Bros. And found her playstyle to be pretty similar. She’s a glass canon that really specializes in doing damage with her “summons” and fluidly dodging at the same time. She’s always on the move; never standing in one place for to long. She damages but letting her “turrets” do the work while she effectively dances around the dangers to ensure she maintains the turrets uptimes.
Like Rosalina, most people don’t really get the appeal but for the few of us who do, when it clicks, it’s such a fun and rewarding playstyle.
Unrelated but I also find it funny that Yae’s signature weapon (Kagura’s verity) is reminiscent of Rosalina’s Comet Observatory.
Can't wait to play Yae when her banner comes round. So many uses for her: sub DPS in Spread teams, on field aggravate, Xianyun plunge...

Like yes dual DPS with Raiden and Kazuha, you have Bennett as defensive or Baizhu which is one of my fav.
She was my first ever 5*, and while it took me a very long time to be able to ascend her, I'm glad I pulled her. She's been a staple character in my account and she's my second most built and invested character.
I love the way she dances around the battlefield.

I deal 30k with my c0r1 Yae. But then again, she has the best artifacts among my c0r1 characters.
I remember getting Yae AND her weapon on accident when she reran with Childe bc I wanted Polar Star and a Thoma after winning my 50/50 on Childe. I was super confused bc I got her at 6 pity and her weapon at 1 and didnt know what to do with her. Shes now my main and I got Xianyun only for plunge Miko and on a lucky streak also got Nahida early. Shes an incredible damage dealer and super versatile. I started building her bc Dendro came out and I got Shenhe and was forced to do the Enkanomiya quest. I dont regret getting her even if I was kinda forced into maining her. Shes sitting comfortably at a 70/250 split with 1.7k Atk and about 300 EM after Nahidas buff. I even got Chevreuse just for her bc I wanted to try out Overload Yae and its fun as heck😂☺️

Lol my story is similar. I pulled for her when I didn't know what banners were about (she was my first ever limited 5*) and basically forced myself to using her because she was one of the few strong characters in my account. I love her now! One of my mains for sure
So glad you approve of the Raiden, Xiangling, Chevreuse, and Yae combo cuz that was how I set up my overload team and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm not the most knowledgeable team builder and my team ideas can be kinda cope sometimes but I try my best to make them make sense 😂
throw xiangling out the window and give them bennet. it may look less damage, but its not and you also have healing.. Even if you're limited by Circle impact then xD Also xiangling is very hard to build to have enough ER aswell as good damage.

@@theskywalker8416 i know they mean that, problem is, as i said, Xiangling really want A LOT of ER to work properly because her er generation suck, so you need VERY VERY good artifacts to be able to use her efficently, bennet only need hp and attack and not even in the artifact, since its only base attack so lvl and weapon.

Love her. I'm glad her power keeps on increasing throughout time. My only regret is that I didn't pull her weapon on any of her previous reruns with Polar Star or Thundering Pulse. I'm tempted to to pull, but on the off chance of losing it to an already standard weapon 😭
Her value as a solid off-field electro DPS will be further increased if the assumption that overload is going to become meta comes true. Especially later when we're entering 5.x and more Pyro DPS(es) will be introduced, they can be paired with Miko in an overload team comp
I've been using Yae Miko for awhile now and I love pairing her with Yanfei. I just love seeing all the explosions. Now that Chevreuse is here that team is even better.
As a person who planned on wishing for her anyway, I’m definitely getting her! 73 pity right now, when I get back from work I’m gonna grind. Hope you all get the characters you want and don’t lose your 50/50 (unless you want to, and in that case I hope you get the standard 5 star you want lol)
Been loving my Leney overload team with her as my only electro on the team. Feels great to play, between Benny and Chevy its so easy to get stacks.

Double-Electro, Double Dendro is my current go-to Yae team, with Fischl, Yae, Kirara, and Nahida.
Granted, my Yae is C6, you can argue that she'll work in any team at this point. 👉👈
I love Yae and Tighnari together, it feels so smooth as satisfying, and the front loaded damage is INSANE. It does fall of a little bit as you go, but against things like the current abyss with Wenut and Ruin Serpent I feel like there's simply none better.

@@jynx1891 Well I'm still experimenting with Nahida. I don't usually bring her but I think now that I have her at c2 I should try and work her in due to the DEF shred. My go to before has always been Tighnari, Yae, Fischl and Yaoyao. Kirara fits in the healer slot too. With Nahida you have to either drop Fischl or Yaoyao depending on if you can do it without a healer or not. This abyss is pretty easy to run healer/shielderless on the second half due to the enemy (single target) barely attacking you. Previously I wanted to keep Nahida for my second side for hyperbloom/Nilou, but since Furina she's always going to be on one side I think lol.

I know this is an older guide but I'm really impressed at how common sense a lot of these teams are. I've been running Yae/Fischl/Nahida/Zhongli and I've found it quite comfy, but running Kirara with Instructor to split the difference between Nahida/Zhong and free up a team slot is just really smart stuff. The Yaeden Overload team with Chevreuse looks really fun too!
Yae is my favorite character of the game and a unit I enjoy to play. Just love her teasy attitude 😂
There's no Abyss without Yae for me. She's my comfort character. How can you consider her to be clunky and not Fischl is beyond me.

Yae is very valuable on my account. She makes my hyperbloom team busted, you can play her on and off field and she's damn pretty. I don't really find her E to be a problem at all personally, but I've been playing her for almost a year with signature weapon.
"Don't pull for future potential" is great advice I wish I had at an earlier point in time. Thought Nilou would be insanely OP with Nahida, and while they are very strong together, I don't really like playing Nilou teams and Nahida has plenty of other stronk options T_T

Yanfei is so good when you invest into her. You can go burgeon, easy pyro app on field, vap/melt. Since she's so CA focused and a cata user she can do reaction so well and controlled since CA dont have ICDs. She so versatile. In Japanese she goes "BOOM" (yes that's a plus). One of the best strong 4 stars.
I will get her simply because she's Yae Miko!
New player here who started a few months ago, appreciate the guide. Was on the fence if I should roll for her but decided not to after this, didn't love her gameplay when I got to try her and the 4 stars being really bad on her banner is what got me to lean the other way in the end.

I know he has team requirements, doesn't have great value and you need to learn his skills. And even after you forgo all that, he can sometimes feel worse (depending on the abyss) than just playing hyperbloom
But still, the long on field time you enjoy after furina, nahida, baizhu. The satisfaction of learning his combos. The great voice acting done by CyYu. And his power level is quite good just if the abyss doesn't do the wenut stuff or aoe enemies that don't group

As far as Yae, I have a hard time getting decent EM rolls for her dendro and overload reactions, so it’ll be in awhile before I can see that full potential.

Yae+Fischl+YaoYao(Baizhu)+Sucrose(Kazuha) if you main her at least you have these three for f2p players same as me. Dealing 83k max burst dmg for complete rotation in abbys floor 12.
I’d recommend a character like Yae before someone like Hu Tao for new players especially she’s just way more flexible/universal and easier to play without needing vertical investment

And she can make use of twice as many artifact sets for easier build purposes.

But Hu Taos damage in her vape teams is just beyond insane compared to Yae's damage in pretty much any team, especially after Xianyuns release which gives her access to wider AOE now. I understand the appeal of pulling for Yae, as she provides comfort. However objectively speaking, Hu Tao outclasses her by far. It's essential to provide accurate information to newer players, they don't know like we do. i 1000% agree with your points though, but the Hu Tao downplay is pretty crazy. like really crazy. she's like an SSS tier dps rn.
I also nearly forgot about that Yanfei statement. that was the most morbidly insane thing you could’ve said. i won’t get into that though

My favourite Yae team is Tighnari/Fischl/Baizhu. Super comfy, great damage, rotation is easy as hell. You barely even have to aim since Tighnari's wreath arrows auto-aim so you can just shoot the floor for true aimless gameplay 🤣 So much damage and you'd have to try to die, it's my favourite effortless team.
If you replaced Fischl with Furina it should be far more powerful because Fischl is not as good in spread teams. She loses about 50% of her damage but it depends on the uptime of Yae Miko being on the field together with Oz.

@poke_zainy This is objectively wrong. Most of Fischl damage comes from her A4 passive in dendro teams but her passive will not activate if the on field dps does dendro damage. My Fischl does about 18k damage per A4 proc every .5 seconds. This will not happen with Tighnari. There has to be electro damage being applied by the on field character.

yae miko is the "i have synergies with S tier characters" type of shi, for me she's like an itto with a good element and the correct scalings, like she scales with EM and ATK which is perfect for dendro, she's electro which is also excellent for dendro, and she's also SORT OF an off fielder which is just insane for dendro, happened something like tighnari with furina well she with fischl or she with nahid has such an excellent synergy that even if her dmg is mediocre at best and her burst is expensive asf she can still aggravate, she can still off field and she can still quicken

The thing Yae really has that Fischl doesn't is the permanent skill uptime that doesn't require switching
With Yae, Nahida and Kokomi, I just stand and watch my enemies get yeeted.
She can be off field subdps for tighnari teams, works very well especially this abyss against the serpents. Yae, nahida, tighnari and zhongli/shielders that dont mess with aggravate
I like the plunge team but I find myself more comfortable replacing Xianyun with Baizhu. In the Xianyun team you can't swirl electro ever again on enemies after Nahida marks them, which is fine because most times you kill enemies in one rotation, but it makes me feel uncomfortable lol. Slotting Baizhu there provides EM from dendro resonance and his ascention passive, so it is pretty strong while being consistent in the second rotation.
This not about Yae, but what you said about Kazuha really resonated with me.
I got his c1 on rerun and was planning to get c2 eventually, but now I dont think I will, because he gets less and less use...The only team he stays a staple for me is Ayakas freeze, that does not give a damn about an EM buff, and Neuvillette, who also perfectly does without. At this point I would rather go for Neuvis c2 because "haha funny numbers", interesting to see how the units shift.
For real, I used to use Kazuha a ton, especially after getting his c2r1 on his release banner, but I feel like I hardly use him anymore 😬 I seem to only use him when I want to do mono hydro shenanigans
i built a poison team i call watching the world burn. it amuses the hell out of me. it's also convenient because i can eat while playing. lol. with yae, zhongli, kokomi and support ganyu, i set everything off and watch the world burn around me. then when everything's dead, ganyu's recharged and the other guys only used their eskill so there's plenty of room for error.
I love Miko but she's very confusing to build so I've had her on 2 Gladiators and 2 Noblesse with very little ER. She's so scuffed but amazingly enough my first 36 star in the abyss was with this build in an Electro Charged team with Furina, Kazuha, and Kokomi. Safe to say that she got carried on that team. Maybe this video is a sign that I should build her properly soon.
I got miko on her first banner and shes lvl 60 on my main team just to help with furina but shes still doing good even with the half assed artefacts so maybe this is a sign for me to invest in her a little

I mean, the hate isn’t unjustified. Her E has a very long animation that can’t be canceled and it has no s, that just feels bad. And yes, off-field Fischl does the around the same damage, usually slightly more than an on-field Yae does.

My biggest struggle lately is deciding whether I need Yae or Fischl on a given team. It probably doesn't help that I've built them pretty similarly, maybe it will be easier for me to pick a role if I actually build them each into a role.
An advantage Yae Miko has is that it is relatively easy to gear her up because of her strong flexibility in artifacts. You will passively get her artifacts even if you are not aiming for her initially. That is one of the reasons you will often see Yae Miko builds with really high stat ratios. I do not have Yae Miko myself but I could immediately give her over 240 CV in artifact gear without having done any farming for her using 2pc 2pc. I am holding off on getting Yae Miko because of Clorinde and I already have c2 Raiden, c6 Lisa, c6 Fischl, c2 Keqing, c6 Sara, c4 Kuki, and c6 Beidou built. I feel like she would not do much for me that I already do.
She would only be a for fun pull. I would pull her if I was more of a new player because of the large number or roles she can do. She is sort of like Ayato in that regard.
Hoping to get her when she drops tonight, going use her in multiple teams so I’ll take the recommendation of two different 2 p. Thx !

I like how the “best” hyperbloom yae team is a full limited 5star team. And hyperbloom is considered to be more of a f2p reaction.
But in general yae aggravate is just much better even with dmc/yaoyao + fiscl + sucrose/zhongli/kirara
My favourite Yae team with I also use to clear Abyss is with Nahida, Bennet and Kazuha

I think my only gripes with yae is I wish her turrets last maybe 3 seconds longer and that she could E faster. Other than that I think she’s great. Personally didn’t use her until her 2nd rerun where I picked up her weapon. She’s one of those characters that I don’t like how they feel without their bis but that’s just me. Love her in spread with Al Haitham. One of my favorite teams.

Yae was a happy accident for me. Thought she sucked and clunky back on her releases but when I got and tried building her after I accidentally got her on Layla's first banner I liked her a lot. Really good with tighnari and occasionally alHaitham
I swear, C2 really saved her for me 😂. I went golden troupe, furina kazuha Jean, not optimal but feels solid rotationwise.
Ps: She saves my fingers with regards to mobile genshin. Yes I tap thrice but thats it I dont have to aim or anything
My Favorite Yae Miko team as of late as been Yae Nahida Raiden Bennett. It's a more Expensive team (in the time aspect, I'm f2p) since all 4 of those need Apex Builds for maximum output (And I'm sure Nahida C2 makes it Optimal but all my 5 stars are C0 and the team still cooks in Abyss). Raiden lets Yae use her burst and with Bennett, that burst hits like a truck, No IDC so every hit Aggrivates and with Raiden E Nahida always spreads for around big damage

I feel like team I’m running is a little overslept on: Zhongli/C2 Nahida/Kokomi/Yae Miko
I built Yae on EM and get 90k hyperblooms with the Widsith if it rolls EM. Zhongli is the only way to shred Dendro, Kokomi has full hydro uptime, and it’s slow enough that you get a few aggravates. Plus, Yae’s NA is such a wide AOE it feels like Kuki+

I really like Raiden Yae Kokomi Kazuha team. Used to be my choice for Abyss for a long time (until 4.2). I know it's damage isn't the best but it's very satisfying to use.
Also, Yae Nahida Fischl Zhongli is defo one of my favourite teams for overworld. Vey lazy and braindead, 10/10 would recommend
I think if her turret placement was a little faster and have i-frames, I'd be into her, but without that, I just find her very tedious to keep setting up.

I use her but not all that often. When I do I run her, nahida, kazuha, and kokomi/furina. Fischl goes in most of my teams not miko.

11:30 I run yae miko taser with kokomi, yae, fischl, and kazuha. with koko and kazu fully em built. since yae and fischl procs too much electro it gives opportunity to let kazuha(ult) and kokomi(on-field) to taze with hydro. otherwise buff with kazuha skill passive and venerers to both yae and fischl is just as strong. so it won't really matter who's doing the damage on both elements. heals on koko is already strong without hp build. so it is alright for me to build her as sub dps.
I want Yae's weapon since I got her in 3.2 but her banner has been always near something I want more

You’d be missing the AOE electro (from Miko plunging) to trigger bloom cores. Also Bennet may accidentally trigger Burgeon or burning. It would probably still 36* abyss with good artifact: you’re still talking about a team with two of the best attack buffs in the game.
Sayu (built for EM, and healing bonus) might be better than Bennett. Sayu swirling Electro would make up for the lack of plunging on to the bloom cores while still giving healing.
I think Jello advertised a team like that in the Furina guide.

Yae + Kagura + C2 Nahida + Skyward Atlas Viridescent Xianyun = 50k+ plunges. Put that together with her skill, Fischl's skill, and Nahida's skill ticks and, goodness, everything dies so quickly.
I don't feel like using Chevreuse although it's alright to use her at C0, I'm still recuperating from all those Bennett dupes when it COULD be Chevreuse cons instead.
I'm gonna stick on Yae Aggravate with Nahida, Kuki, and Tighnari as savior for dreaded Second Half of Floor 12.
Thought about getting yae but I think I’ll build lisa because I think she pulls off that smug electro lady aesthetic better lol
