Thundering Fury and thundersoother is decent on Yae but as you need to farm for Nahida as well, I would suggest building Gilded dreams on Yae and Deepwood on Nahida as they are in the same domain, and Gilded is pretty decent on Yae with her EM scaling from passive as well as hyperbloom/aggravate
actually in a team he has doing aka Yae and Nahida gilded is BiS since aggravate or for hyperbloom but for aggravate you build normally aka atk, electro and crit but for hyperbloom you can EM, electro, crit main stats
I like how Java is actually trying to get Miko, by ACTUALLY trying to earn fates and primos by doing all events he hasn't done yet. That's definitely dedication if I've ever seen any, good job Java..good job. I would have passed out trying to do all those events all at once.

Yae Miko and Nahida work GREAT together so it's really good you were able to get both of them. With them in the team you could use either Barbra or Mona, but I do think it'd be best if you still had Sucrose in there since dendro reactions scale off EM a lot and she's a good support in that regard
But it still helps. I even think its an better time managment, bc he gets Primos and can farm these bosses every two minutes instead of needing five minutes to even find a player that has these and wants to help him farm them with spells only

Java you should probabaly use your resin to farm in the sumeru domain because it has both gilded dream and deepwood which are good for yae and nahida so it'd be better
ThunderSoother is useable on Yae. But it may be better to go for Gilded Dreams set on Yae since then you can farm Nahida's Deepwood set at the same time.
18% Attack + 18% Attack sets are really good for Yae You can mix and match with 18% Attack + 15% Electro Damage Bonus too Usually Attack/Electro Damage/Crit build, don't bother too much with ER since bursting off cooldown is nearly impossible without either killing her damage or running Raiden with her so just burst every other rotation Random EM substats are fine but Attack, Crit Rate and Crit Damage are the most important ones for her
With aggrevate/hyperbloom... Actually even EM sans and EM sets work great for Miko. With Nahida, Guilded dreams is actually better than thundering Fury

I got Yae 2 days ago, I literally teared up, it is officially my 2 five-star after losing my 50/50 to Mona on Cyno’s banner. I just got her to level 80 today! Keep up the great work Java! ❤️

btw, I know you don't do the teepot on this account but it is a pretty easy way to get some primogems. Craft the furniture, get the sets, invite all the characters you have and voila. 20 Primos each! Might take a while to get to the point where you can craft a lot though. But passive primoearning may still be worth it😊
There's the 60 resin and 20 good xp books every week as well. Don't have to build pretty either. Heck, he could make an entertaining video where he visits various teapots and then makes use of the copy feature to create silliness. Well, actually, knowing Java, he would do that without making use of the copy feature, instead just winging it, and so end up with a much more entertaining video for those of us that like watching him suffer.
Thundering Fury is better for a reaction Miko, yet still Thundersoother isn't that bad, since the 4pc passive works pretty well on Yae. Also, remember that hyperblooms don't crit (unless you'd have C2 Nahida on this acc), so crit isn't that important. BUT aggrevate does crit, so you have to decide which one you prefer (or just let the artifacts decide). Then for the Sucrose or Mona problem, it depends on Yae Miko build. If you'd stick with hyperbloom then I'd say Mona, and if aggrevate, then Sucrose. hope that somewhat helped
For you I would recommend a quick bloom team with slower hydro app for Yae, allowing her and Nahida to aggravate and spread while also getting a few bloom
Keaya can also generate a shield at his C4 which is really ineteresting, as he is also a cryo sword user. But we all know that the starter team cons are almost impossible to get anyway 😒
Hi Java, just wanted to let you know, that for hyperbloom yae miko, the gilded dreams set is probably better because of the 4p passive. (also congrats on getting the yae miko!)
Congrats on winning 50:50 second time in a row, looks like you can be lucky every now and then. But to be honest, I'd prefer seeing you clear your quest backlog over spending money on pulls. I understand that doing a quest third or fourth time is not much fun but that's also the challenge.
The fungus even was definitely fun and different, but the domain thing was definitely too tedious and long. The massive chunk of rewards was really nice tho. Anyways I loved the video keep up the good work :) Oh also, I would recommend a 2pc thundering and either 2pc emblem, em, or atk, depending on what your build lacks. Yae has a weird thing where she has energy problems ehen I dont have her on an atk sans. If you have it the Oathsworn eye would be great for yea but if you dont Favonius codex or widsith would probably work well. :) The team looks good tho, probably what I would use even if was limited to catalysts. (one of my main teams rn is keqing, kokomi, nahida, and kazuha) :) Mona probably would be better with hydro application tbh but you should try both first :)
You should use aggrevate Miko : Nahida , Yae Miko, Sucrose , Lisa for her passive . and run The sumeru arrtifact domain for nahida and yae miko the deepwood for nahida and the other set for yae miko
A tip for waiting, since it's so annoying! If your quest says "wait two days"' or "wait until the next day" Just turn the clock to zero, not all the way around to where you are. Since midnight is when another day starts it will register that as the next day with you having to wait much less time! ^-^

Yae Miko is a must pull for a spells or catalyst only account just like how Kokomi is. She enables so many comps plus she can do her job off field unlike Klee, Yanfei etc giving way for her supports to have a spotlight✨

as far as teambuilding goes the nahida/yae combo is great! miko works very well with em and elemental reactions as a sub-dps and burst dps. the sucrose addition, even with or without thrilling tales provides crowd control, viridescent shred, etc. but the most important thing to decide when building miko for elemental reactions is what reaction you want. the two main schools of thought are hyperbloom and aggravate. aggravate miko boosts her personal dmg from skills/bursts. if you like the big purple numbers, i might suggest substituting barbara for lisa, for electro resonance and energy. barbara would be more suitable to hyperbloom teams because the hydro application can result in dendro cores. while the healing is more desirable for comfortable/consistent team rotations, a more aggressive team would want the energy generation from lisa. so if aggravate is your team build of choice, i’d recommend ER-heavy healer lisa, if you’d like to still heal. so, put simply! aggravate miko: big on personal dmg, electro dps. i’d recommend widsith, thundering fury/emblem of severed fate. hyperbloom miko: elemental reactions and high EM for hyperbloom dmg. EM weapons like sacrificial, fav, or ER weapons like hakushin ring. artifacts like gilded dreams, deepwood, 2pc wanderer’s are recommended. miko’s personal dmg would be negligible in hyperbloom, so invest totally in increasing hyperbloom. best of luck, Java! your videos are so fun to watch and i really love seeing how far this account has come since the beginning :)
If you're going for aggrevate dps go with gilded dreams set. Or if you're going for electro dps Go with thundering fury. Go for: Sands:Atk% or em Cup:electro dmg bonus Circlet:Crit dmg/rate Recommend substats: crit dmg/rate>er>atk=em And for the talents Skill>burst>normal attack(if you want too)
That's honestly a pretty good team! If you use barber to apply hydro, then sucrose to swirl it with burst + skill, use nahida skills + burst to do dendro reactions and then finally use miko to react hyperbloom and deal electro! I've used this with nahida, kokomi, kazuha and kuki and it works realllllyy weell
All I wanted was one Layla... 11 4stars later she has yet to show her face... and while I wouldn't have minded getting Miko early cuz I like her now that I am approaching soft pity... I think I want the Wanderer more... and now I am finally starting to understand the struggle of the people being like "I don't want a 5star" cuz I probably can't stop before I am straight at soft pity
I think sucrose is better to go in the comp because of the em she gave to the party members and the anemo artefact set will guaranteed more damage for yae. And please make a live farming yae bosses so you can have some help if its so hard to farm
I saved 50 wishes for Miko after unexpected diluc instead of my c1 Nahida. I did them, they all were purple and I was at 55 pity. And I used my gold star dust for 4 more pulls. And suddenly right the next one was gold. I was in shock with 56 pity for a 5*. But now Miko at home and I adore her
The stone shroom was my fav to use. Use the air fungi to bunch the enemies up then BAM with the stone fungi. Also the reason the last defense went by so fast is bc you lvled up ur fungi after the story 😆
If I remember correctly, yae ascends into crit rate, and since that ratio is already not that bad, nice yae! She will be a great character for the account! Also.. Have you done the aranara and desert quests on this account? They can give a lot of primos even if they are long. Love the content, keep being awesome!
You should probably do a team of nahida, and 2 of whichever element you want so for example 1 nahida + 2 electro and an anemo. Since the damage done will be increased by nahida if there’s 2 of the same element. I hope this makes sense :]
I'm so happy you got Yae!!! I main her and i'm so excited to see her in this lp!!! My builds aren't super good but the best i reccomend is a lot of EM for Aggravate and Hyperbloom (if u will keep Barb) dmg! Love ur vids❤️
For the team personally I'd reccomend using yae, nahida, lisa and sucrose since you can easily swirl electro and aggrivate as for lisa her ult decreases the opponents defense by 15% which is still a buff so it's a pretty good team
it's funny seeing your team resembling something i stumbled into with the nahida and yae banners. i ran klee/nahida/barbara/yae for a bit and it was surprisingly comfy

Edit 2: Since this team gets most of they're damage from elemental reactions, the team would almost always hit over 10k even without crits, perfect builds, or perfect weapons.(they just need around 1.8k-2k atk to perform well) Edit 3: I hope you'll take this advice for your next video, and I enjoy all of your series so far! Continue doing what you love and do great for grandpa! :)
You could probably just farm the Yae drops in co-op, rather than doing that whole area. Though it would give you more wishes, which you'll no doubt need for the next catalyst user. Game was being too generous with Heizous, so you know it'll give you that new five star just to make this video's Heizous kind of pointless. And as others have been saying, farm the new artifact domain, as it will give you the best set for Yae (in dendro teams) and also artifacts for Nahida (be it the deepwood set for her, or gilded on her and another character using the deepwood set to debuff for her). As far as a sword using shielder goes, Albedo sorta fills that role, with crystalize. I guess geo traveler could as well, but doesn't apply geo frequently enough, so I wouldn't count her. There's also C4 Kaeya, which triggers a shield if his health drops low enough, but, well, he's one of those three and 60s cooldown. Layla is the first on- demand, sword-using shielder, though.
Technically Albedo is the first sword character that can generate shields but if you mean a specialized Sheild then yeah Layla is the first Edit: technically you could also consider xinque's E generations as a Sheild but those are less like shield and more like things that heal you upon taking damage

@@AkKavinBGMI you said quicken but aggravate is just hitting quickened enemies with electro. the problem with thundersoother is that the enemies have to have the electro aura on them for it to work, but Nahida applies so much dendro that the electro aura disappears.
I feel like Mona might be better then Sucrose just for the hydro application, unless you go the route of DPS Barbara. Which I mean is always an option. Otherwise I don't think just Barbara would be creating enough Dendro cores for Hyperbloom, if thats your goal. Of course I may be wrong so anyone feel free to correct me.
Neither dose mona actually her e has normal icd so she only gives 2 seeds 1 at the start 3 more hits then icd resets and 1 more ...I have nilou that's why I know 😅😅😅

Especially since Yae could act as a battery for Lisa, since in my opinion her skill is really hard to play (I know it’s gets better with constellations). These are just ideas of course and probably need testing first.

If I was restricted to only catalysts I’d put yae with nahida, Barbara/kokomi, and probably Mona for the extra hydro application, burst buff, and the 25% extra HP from hydro resonance I’m currently running her with solar pearl and 4pc gilded dreams, and while farming gilded dreams I also got all my artifacts for nahida. Definitely seems more resin efficient than just thundering fury

You can get two of the boss drops needed for miko by doing that archon quest with shenhe, in case you want to go through some more dialouge.

You need a LOT of wood for crafting most furniture though, right? And you can't exactly get wood with catalysts...

Then for the Sucrose or Mona problem, it depends on Yae Miko build. If you'd stick with hyperbloom then I'd say Mona, and if aggrevate, then Sucrose.

But to be honest, I'd prefer seeing you clear your quest backlog over spending money on pulls. I understand that doing a quest third or fourth time is not much fun but that's also the challenge.
The fungus even was definitely fun and different, but the domain thing was definitely too tedious and long. The massive chunk of rewards was really nice tho. Anyways I loved the video keep up the good work :) Oh also, I would recommend a 2pc thundering and either 2pc emblem, em, or atk, depending on what your build lacks. Yae has a weird thing where she has energy problems ehen I dont have her on an atk sans. If you have it the Oathsworn eye would be great for yea but if you dont Favonius codex or widsith would probably work well. :) The team looks good tho, probably what I would use even if was limited to catalysts. (one of my main teams rn is keqing, kokomi, nahida, and kazuha) :) Mona probably would be better with hydro application tbh but you should try both first :)

You should use aggrevate Miko : Nahida , Yae Miko, Sucrose , Lisa for her passive . and run The sumeru arrtifact domain for nahida and yae miko the deepwood for nahida and the other set for yae miko

A tip for waiting, since it's so annoying! If your quest says "wait two days"' or "wait until the next day" Just turn the clock to zero, not all the way around to where you are. Since midnight is when another day starts it will register that as the next day with you having to wait much less time! ^-^
Java you don't need to do all of the enkanomiya quest, you can just join someone's world in co-op and get the boss drops
The way thundersoother is legitimately good on Yae Miko and generally does more damage than thundering fury lol

21:48 that is a really solid set for Miko
as far as teambuilding goes the nahida/yae combo is great! miko works very well with em and elemental reactions as a sub-dps and burst dps. the sucrose addition, even with or without thrilling tales provides crowd control, viridescent shred, etc. but the most important thing to decide when building miko for elemental reactions is what reaction you want. the two main schools of thought are hyperbloom and aggravate.
aggravate miko boosts her personal dmg from skills/bursts. if you like the big purple numbers, i might suggest substituting barbara for lisa, for electro resonance and energy.
barbara would be more suitable to hyperbloom teams because the hydro application can result in dendro cores. while the healing is more desirable for comfortable/consistent team rotations, a more aggressive team would want the energy generation from lisa. so if aggravate is your team build of choice, i’d recommend ER-heavy healer lisa, if you’d like to still heal.
so, put simply!
aggravate miko: big on personal dmg, electro dps. i’d recommend widsith, thundering fury/emblem of severed fate.
hyperbloom miko: elemental reactions and high EM for hyperbloom dmg. EM weapons like sacrificial, fav, or ER weapons like hakushin ring. artifacts like gilded dreams, deepwood, 2pc wanderer’s are recommended. miko’s personal dmg would be negligible in hyperbloom, so invest totally in increasing hyperbloom.

That's honestly a pretty good team! If you use barber to apply hydro, then sucrose to swirl it with burst + skill, use nahida skills + burst to do dendro reactions and then finally use miko to react hyperbloom and deal electro!
I've used this with nahida, kokomi, kazuha and kuki and it works realllllyy weell
If you do rebuilding the jade chamber quest you get 2 of the things to ascend yae miko so if you already have done it she can be ascended to lvl 50

I saved 50 wishes for Miko after unexpected diluc instead of my c1 Nahida. I did them, they all were purple and I was at 55 pity. And I used my gold star dust for 4 more pulls. And suddenly right the next one was gold. I was in shock with 56 pity for a 5*. But now Miko at home and I adore her
The stone shroom was my fav to use. Use the air fungi to bunch the enemies up then BAM with the stone fungi.
Also the reason the last defense went by so fast is bc you lvled up ur fungi after the story 😆

You should probably do a team of nahida, and 2 of whichever element you want so for example 1 nahida + 2 electro and an anemo. Since the damage done will be increased by nahida if there’s 2 of the same element. I hope this makes sense :]

For the team personally I'd reccomend using yae, nahida, lisa and sucrose since you can easily swirl electro and aggrivate as for lisa her ult decreases the opponents defense by 15% which is still a buff so it's a pretty good team

you could use heizou instead of sucrose in the hyperbloom team you mentioned, you will need sucrose and mona for the second half with klee

This teams main damage would be elemental reactions, and Nahida would proc most of these reactions(Burn,Hyperbloom,bloom, Vaporise,Electro charged,Overloaded, ect.)
Edit 2: Since this team gets most of they're damage from elemental reactions, the team would almost always hit over 10k even without crits, perfect builds, or perfect weapons.(they just need around 1.8k-2k atk to perform well)

You could probably just farm the Yae drops in co-op, rather than doing that whole area. Though it would give you more wishes, which you'll no doubt need for the next catalyst user. Game was being too generous with Heizous, so you know it'll give you that new five star just to make this video's Heizous kind of pointless.
And as others have been saying, farm the new artifact domain, as it will give you the best set for Yae (in dendro teams) and also artifacts for Nahida (be it the deepwood set for her, or gilded on her and another character using the deepwood set to debuff for her).
As far as a sword using shielder goes, Albedo sorta fills that role, with crystalize. I guess geo traveler could as well, but doesn't apply geo frequently enough, so I wouldn't count her. There's also C4 Kaeya, which triggers a shield if his health drops low enough, but, well, he's one of those three and 60s cooldown. Layla is the first on- demand, sword-using shielder, though.

Technically Albedo is the first sword character that can generate shields but if you mean a specialized Sheild then yeah Layla is the first
Edit: technically you could also consider xinque's E generations as a Sheild but those are less like shield and more like things that heal you upon taking damage

I feel like Mona might be better then Sucrose just for the hydro application, unless you go the route of DPS Barbara. Which I mean is always an option. Otherwise I don't think just Barbara would be creating enough Dendro cores for Hyperbloom, if thats your goal. Of course I may be wrong so anyone feel free to correct me.
Neither dose mona actually her e has normal icd so she only gives 2 seeds 1 at the start 3 more hits then icd resets and 1 more ...I have nilou that's why I know 😅😅😅

Especially since Yae could act as a battery for Lisa, since in my opinion her skill is really hard to play (I know it’s gets better with constellations). If I was restricted to only catalysts I’d put yae with nahida, Barbara/kokomi, and probably Mona for the extra hydro application, burst buff, and the 25% extra HP from hydro resonance
I’m currently running her with solar pearl and 4pc gilded dreams, and while farming gilded dreams I also got all my artifacts for nahida. Definitely seems more resin efficient than just thundering fury
