Is that their nickname because if it is then I love it lol... That being said, I love in Japan but he's certainly earned me as a customer assuming I make it down there next month.
TJ! The owner of the blind pig knows his stuff. That Evan Williams hero edition is amazing and I would put it up against most bottles twice the price. Shout out to the Blind Pig!
The guy at the blind pig is always like that. I was there in December last year and he gave me and my brother in law free pours and was super nice to talk to. Highly recommend that store
One of my favorite hunt videos! The best thing about hunting for me is meeting people and hear them talk about about things they love. I have to find Josh if I am ever in the area. He was so freaking knowledgeable and friendly!!
Thank you so much for everything! Had an absolute blast with you hunting that week and will remember that experience forever! All around humble and amazing guy hope our paths cross again
The Bling Pig owner is what it’s all about!! I ain’t even a drinker anymore “recovering alcoholic/addict for rest of my life” I never drank fancy, I just drank allot
As someone who is now multiple years sober, I still love learning about whiskey! My friends and family swear I must be lying that I don’t drink because I’ve learned so much from your videos I can still comment on their bottle around the table 😂❤
i loved the one owner. his interpersonal skills were excellent and he was smart enough to know that opening a new bottle for tasting on a popular youtube channel was worth the expense. ogd.... he then gave them the bottle... i would be a supporter of his store.
So had a trip to bardstown over the weekend and luckily caught this video before we went up. I've got to say Josh at the blind pig is an awesome guy. Picked up a couple of neat bottles and a bottle of RD one while I was there.
My buddy grabbed me a lux row 12 year double oaked when he was there as a wedding gift. It’s one of my favorite bottles. Good grab! Hope you enjoy it too
I went out to Kentucky for a bachelor's party. I had no idea how spoiled it would make me. I miss these kinds of stores. GA has some okay stores, but nothing beats Kentucky.
I appreciate all of the shops you checked out. In my opinion, personality makes or breaks a place. You met some great people and I thank you all for your choices. I made it all the way through 👏💪🇺🇲
I really like Cole. He seems like a really cool, laid back dude. And his reasoning for supporting Ole Pogue is so relatable. I have a similar story about my sentimental bourbon. And Josh, from The Blind Pig, was such an awesome guy! That's the kind of owner's attitude that builds relationships and makes loyal customers. What an awesome video!! #bottlekill
Love the content and just in the past few years got into bourbon and have enjoyed your descriptions when tasting and puts me on to new stuff. Thanks bud and keep it up .
Not a bourbon guy, don’t know anything on the topic at all. I got a chance to go to Bardstown a few weeks ago. It was a great town, lots of history, great food and everyone was super friendly. We walked all over town and felt very safe being there. I have been watching a few of your videos. It is good to take a peak into other peoples hobbies. Interesting stuff
Pause at 38:23 or 38:24 Broken Barrel! Way on the right. That stuff is fantastic for the price. The cask strength is amazing at $45. 115 proof. They have a cool story and spin on normal bourbon releases. They break apart used barrels (thus the name) and add the staves to a batch out bourbon. They call it an "oak bill"
Been to Old Pogue at the personal invitation of a member of the family I knew through playing in orchestra with him. The house by the river is absolutely stunning. And their seasonal allocated releases are fantastic. Particularly the Belle of Maysville.
Josh is hands down the nicest guy you’ll find in any of the liquor stores in Bardstown..all the others are museums and not personable besides Evergreen…I’ve learned from experience.
We stopped by Evergreen back in April, found a Unicorn, picked up an Old Forester Single Barrel. Pretty cool shop! Will be heading back up that way for Bourbon on the Banks!! Love your videos, from ENC.
Bottle kill!!! Thank you for another amazing vid and for teaching us about whiskey. Im new to it all but so far have come to really enjoy your vids and ive started picking up some bottles to try on my own! Huge respect from canada my southern naibor!!
Great video. I went up to Bardstown earlier this year with a bunch of friends and Evergreens was awesome. We posted up at that bar and drank tried a ton of stuff. Great prices and selection.
Such a great video! I saw a few places I went to when I was in Bardstown last October. I’ll definitely seek them out when I’ll be going back this October as well. The next time you’re in town, I highly recommend going to the Abbey of Gethsemani and Log Still Distillery.
Sir TJ. I am new to Bourbon. But I have had bourbons before. Please kindly share three of your most favorite bourbon. Your videos are very organic and unscripted. Keep it up and I appreciate you too.
What fantastic bourbon education. I was surprised by your review of the Dickel White, keep up the great work and keep on sharing one of America's greatest gifts to the world. American Bourbon Whiskey !!! take care
Filmland is not gimmicky. No more than 3 Chord is. The Bourbon Hunters podcast has an episode with them interviewing the founder/owner. I can’t wait to run into an extended cut and give them a shot
Now your in a town I have been in numerous times. I have never been to some of the stores you went to. I have been to The Blind Pig and Toddy's. One you missed is Bardstown wine and spirits. There is a store of some kind that has a Famous sausage sandwhich in Bardstown.
Huzzah,, 1st time watching one of your full length videos. Which i watched all the way. I live in Hardin Co. Kentucky and my primary physician is in Bardstown. So thought I'd watch it since i love Burbon as well. Just not as much as you. Stay Safe Sir
My buddy bought a 1776 bourbon and i dont much care for bottles that use dates or famous figures (example Jefferson). We smoked it with apple wood and it was addictivly good.
#bottlekill, Loved all the comments and it was nice to see Evergreen Liquors again. I went there this April on a bourbon trail tour w/my brothers and other family members. I had bought the Evan Williams Vet pic last week and I can't wait to try it, even though you thought it was still young.
Worthy of note, that Lux 12 is almost always older than 12yrs and is only available at the distillery. Also, Tumbling Dice is solid. Those red labels especially.
I have been watching your videos for a while now and I love them. Im still new to the bourbon scene, I started getting serious about bourbon about a year and a half ago and I'm still developing my palete. I used to be a rum guy. I recently went on a motorcycle trip and we stopped at Cascade Hollow Distillery and all of the Dickel products tasted like medicine to me. What was funny is they had a prescription for whiskey from 1927 framed on their wall. New patreon member. #bottlekill
There's a small distillery here in WA called Blackfish that sells newmake whiskey. I've had it a few times and it tastes more likely blanco tequila than anything else. It has this really awesome agave-like sweetness and barely any of the funk from most whitedog.

Hell yeah heading there tomorrow for lunch! Thanks Brewzle
Review the new Costco Kirkland bourbon. Bottled by Barton, 100 proof, in bond.
How many expensive bottles u dropped at broke
@brewzle where did you do the barrel pick for in Georgia? I live in southern Georgia and come through your neck of the woods from time to time.
What’s the best Coopers?
That owner of the blind pig was such a nice guy. Giving samples a discount and a bottle for free.
I came here to comment the same thing. Outstanding dude
Josh is the best.
well it's free advertisement as well
He made me so happy!!!
Josh might be the coolest liquor store owner ever. I'll have to drive out to Bardstown just to buy something from him.
If anyone can get a chance to support the Blind Pig, this guy definitely deserves it! Never seen a nicer guy on one of these videos. True character!
The Blind Pig is one of my favorite stores! I love them
Is that their nickname because if it is then I love it lol... That being said, I love in Japan but he's certainly earned me as a customer assuming I make it down there next month.
I love the guy at the Blind Pig. His energy is infectious
The blind pig guy was the best! Loves the bourbon that he’s selling, very knowledgeable. Thats the way a liquor store should be
The passion for the products the store owner at the blind pig has is wonderful to see.
Thanks for the bottle! Plan on opening it the first night in my new house! You the man Brewzle!
Thanks for hunting with me! It was a great time.
What did y'all pick at Heaven Hill?
@@Toot7319an EC and Larceny
dude, that Blind Pig owner was a cool dude. much respect.
The guys at Blind Pig were outstanding. That's how you get repeat customers.
Blind Pig Josh deserves greatness, a true gem of a person.
BOTTLE KILL BABY! I love these longer videos and when you bring other people along on the hunt. Keep them coming buddy!
i loved the one owner. his interpersonal skills were excellent and he was smart enough to know that opening a new bottle for tasting on a popular youtube channel was worth the expense. ogd.... he then gave them the bottle... i would be a supporter of his store.

Thanks for trying The Bond! We’re glad you liked it 🤝🏻
Loved the hospitality of the man at the Blind Pig
Micthers Staright Rye & Woodford Reserve are now my fav Bourbon Thanks TJ !
Really really enjoyed listening to the blind pig owner. Such a class act
I love your bourbon hunting videos, I always learn so much.
What I like the most is you tasting all the bottles you picked up in the hunt. I love watching your channel--KD
South GA is great for finding unicorn bottles on the shelves.
27:10 It was this moment where Brew met his match talking and referencing batch numbers.
Blind Pig’s Josh was nerding out about whiskey like I nerd out about Star Wars rofl he was awesome
Blind Pig dude is a great dude show him so love
I like watching you actually try them them in the same video. Very satisfying.
Love the tasting at the end! Really enjoy hearing your thoughts on what you purchased in the same video!
I was hoping finding the unicorn would turn into a pour of the Mitchers 20 year.
I appreciate all of the shops you checked out.
In my opinion, personality makes or breaks a place.
You met some great people and I thank you all for your choices.
I made it all the way through 👏💪🇺🇲

The owner of Blind Pig was the best! It's fun when you can meet someone who is passionate about what they do.
I love the tasting at the end of the hunts even if its just a couple its really nice to know my curiosity satisfied.
Great vid, so good when you talk to customers, store owners and of course the insight of your guides, thanks
Love the content and just in the past few years got into bourbon and have enjoyed your descriptions when tasting and puts me on to new stuff. Thanks bud and keep it up .
Having a GREAT time watching the video and the interactions. So much knowledge I am learning from each video. Have a great one and God Speed.

Loved the tasting the haul at the end! Great addition.
It was really cool seeing my friends around town in this one 👊🏼 I’ll see you at bourbon fest!
This was one of your best hunt and the pig is such a wonderful place and owner. I literally would move to be next to a store like that
$25 bottle- Benchmark Full Proof…. ALL DAY LONG… I LOVE THAT STUFF!
Guy at blind pig seem like a really cool dude !!
The guy at the Bling Pig was such a cool guy would love yo see him in future vids!!!
Blind Pig is my vote for STORE OF THE YEAR! ..... I wish he would relocate to Ga !
Blind Pig guy = Legend
The only bad thing about these hunting videos is there aren't enough of these bourbon hunting videos.
Josh is hands down the nicest guy you’ll find in any of the liquor stores in Bardstown..all the others are museums and not personable besides Evergreen…I’ve learned from experience.
Those Punjabi prices are bananas 😂
Someday Americans are going to get tired of these foreign merchants, and they'll wish they had been better guests.
We stopped by Evergreen back in April, found a Unicorn, picked up an Old Forester Single Barrel. Pretty cool shop! Will be heading back up that way for Bourbon on the Banks!! Love your videos, from ENC.
Josh is such a super dude!

I appreciate your videos. They're very informative and have saved me a lot of money .
Great video. I went up to Bardstown earlier this year with a bunch of friends and Evergreens was awesome. We posted up at that bar and drank tried a ton of stuff. Great prices and selection.
To the end, great info and great stores has given me some great ideas for the next bourbon hunt
Maysville! Let's go lol that is where I live, my hometown.
Old Pogue is great. Hard to get outside of Kentucky. They have a cask strength version that you can only buy at the distiller
Such a great video! I saw a few places I went to when I was in Bardstown last October. I’ll definitely seek them out when I’ll be going back this October as well. The next time you’re in town, I highly recommend going to the Abbey of Gethsemani and Log Still Distillery.
Bottle Kill!!! Just a newbie in the bourbon world. Thanks for all the info you put into your videos
I've had ALL the Penelope. When I was visiting fam in Louisiana, the staff introduced me to Penelope.
20:28 The fact you didn't grab those Disco 11's I have to question your honor sir! lol : )
My god Disco 11 is so goddamn good it's insane!
Yep. On my second bottle
Sir TJ. I am new to Bourbon. But I have had bourbons before. Please kindly share three of your most favorite bourbon. Your videos are very organic and unscripted. Keep it up and I appreciate you too.

Tj you got me addicted to these videos ,just went hunting with my sister and I got 4 roses small batch to try for my first bourbon
Love that unicorn game!! 🦄 I hope some store owners in Dallas, TX implement this game!!
I was at the whiskey weekend when those three chords were blended during a competition. Very good blends
Evergreen, The Blind Pig, both will get my business when I'm in the area, you guys are so cool! #bottlekill
#bottlekill -- will definitely support @blindPig next time I'm in the area. I might also have to see about finding myself a unicorn!
Filmland is not gimmicky. No more than 3 Chord is. The Bourbon Hunters podcast has an episode with them interviewing the founder/owner. I can’t wait to run into an extended cut and give them a shot
Put Flintstone Vitamins in the unaged Dickel to create the Dickel profile in a flavored whiskey.
Now your in a town I have been in numerous times. I have never been to some of the stores you went to. I have been to The Blind Pig and Toddy's. One you missed is Bardstown wine and spirits. There is a store of some kind that has a Famous sausage sandwhich in Bardstown.
Bottlekill. The unicorn hunt was genious!
Huzzah,, 1st time watching one of your full length videos. Which i watched all the way. I live in Hardin Co. Kentucky and my primary physician is in Bardstown. So thought I'd watch it since i love Burbon as well. Just not as much as you. Stay Safe Sir
Unicorn hiding in the red wines... Hahaha 😅
loved this hunt, great job. that clear is interesting
Dude at the Blind Pig was cool
Bottle Kill hecknyeah. I'm definitely hitting up the Blind Pig when I go there.
My buddy bought a 1776 bourbon and i dont much care for bottles that use dates or famous figures (example Jefferson). We smoked it with apple wood and it was addictivly good.

My work is doing its second barrel pick from RD1. First one was amazing, birch wood!
Those are the store owners that I love to talk to. They make me wanna come back to there store
Worthy of note, that Lux 12 is almost always older than 12yrs and is only available at the distillery. Also, Tumbling Dice is solid. Those red labels especially.

Great video...I loved the energy of The Blind Pig! Always generous! #bottlekill
LMFAO @ the guy not breaking stride while answering Elmer T. Lee price request "Elmer T. Lee $374". hahaha!
I have been watching your videos for a while now and I love them. Im still new to the bourbon scene, I started getting serious about bourbon about a year and a half ago and I'm still developing my palete. I used to be a rum guy. Insane how many bottles these places have just sitting. Glad I live in SoCal.
Bro... Tumblin Dice is soooo good! And that James E Pepper 1776 is a fantastic rye, especially for the price.
I was at that evergreen! My buddy found a unicorn and got an old forester SiB 100proof
Xpress Liquor 12~ min that is a real smile right there.
Bottle kill! Taking a trip to Louisville next spring so I love getting these great recommendations!
Brewzle love you man! That walk is getting scary though, please consider starting an exercise routine! We want you around for a long time!
