    Want the lad to get a chance under clement think he’s got more to give us. It was Beale that treated him like crap bringing in Sam lammers to play in hagis position absolutely criminal. If we had a hagi at his very best for a season I’d think it would be a very successful season

      To be fair to Hagi it was insulting of Beale not to even give him a start against Greenock Morton.

    Hello Cj, a Romanian here.
    From my perspective Ianis is a great player with a lot of vision and decent talent, what I think Rangers fans do not understand is particularly the traumatic experience he went through when he suffered the injury. He was a part of a documentary in Romania regarding how we qualified to the Euros where he talks a bit about his injury and almost ends up bursting in tears. When you have that reaction, it obviously is hard to put up the same performances with the same confidence as he used to have. What he needs right now is a lot of minutes, a lot of confidence which he didnt get at Alaves at all. It is frustrating because at the National Team he is very decent and contributes for the team, but never seemed to get a chance at club level especially after this injury.

    Hagi has 100% got something. He was a big part of us winning the league because you might see the stats of that season but what is important most of his goals and assists he gets for rangers are when the game is a draw like 0-0 and the other team has every player defending. Those goals and assists should count for more sometimes. Of course he is impactful he just wants to do a little bit of magic and we should incourage that in our players even if it doesn't work because if we hagi back to what he was then he could be a big part of winning the league again. I think he should play for rangers again and I'd love for it to happen and that it goes well for him and us

    Hagi is a team player. He was not the fastest but seems to have found an extra yard of speed, probably through improved training at Alaves. He has got excellent game intelligence and will shine with good players around him, all showing good movement and looking for the ball. Let's see what Big Phil sees in him when Hagi comes back home at the weekend. More consistent than Todd Cantwell and Tom Lawrence.

  • @JoshAston23
    @JoshAston23 13 дней назад +1

    Must keep him. He's got bags of talent, great vision, can unlock a low block, can shoot from range, and most importantly he's industrious defensively (unlike a certain number 11 we have).
    Don't forget he's playing against much better opposition in Spain than in Scotland, so those goal contributions are not going to be double figures over there, especially with limited game time.

  • @rach2135

    Hagi to me is exactly the type of player you want at rangers natural skill and good work ethic and want to play and be the best he can. I was at the cup game before he went on loan. He was working so hard and conducts himself so well. I watched him spend time with ball boys and you could see how much they took from that. I think clement could really help return to the player he was and get even better.

    Unfortunately Hagi’s biggest flaw has always been his lack of pace and that hasn’t changed! Given also that PC seems to be intent on addressing that particular issue within the squad then I really don’t see where he could fit into PC’s vision for the future? Also I don’t think that Hagi’s stock will ever be greater than it currently might be after his appearance at the Euros therefore this might be the best chance for us to get a return on him financially?

  • @alanmcnamara7643
    @alanmcnamara7643 16 дней назад

    I sincerely HOPE that big Phil brings him home and tells him "you play well, you'll be in my starting 11".
    I do think that Ianis can still be a big addition to our team. He showed enough in the minutes on the pitch he had before beale threw his teddy out the pram, to tell me that he can help us.
    For me, I put aside his season in Spain because 1) it was a comeback season from a bad injury and 2) They were not set up to get the best out of him.
    The big question for me is; does Ianis WANT to come back? Did the beale experience put him off playing for us again?
    I hope I'm wrong here but I think it has put him off playing for us again and if the right club comes in for him, he'll be off.
    I WANT him to stay, I think he SHOULD stay but SADLY, I don't think he will.
    As an aside to my opinion on this; I've seen the latest photos of the work at Ibrox and I believe the chances of Ibrox being ready for the end of August/beginning of September are ZILCH.
    I was told a rumour and I stress it is a RUMOUR, that it will be DECEMBER before it's ready.
    Regardless of it being September or December, the cost of this work and the delay (thus losing us matchday revenue) will make a serious dent in our transfer budget for sometime to come and therefore having a player of Ianis's ability and it not costing us a penny is worth a punt.

  • @KoS-24
    @KoS-24 19 часов назад

    In Spain he was treated like the guy who is about to leave, not having a buy option in the contract. No wonder Alaves looked towards the future.
    I have the feeling Clement wants to choose new players to bring in, and will never give Hagi a real chance.
    Best option for both player and club would be for him to switch clubs.
    Worst option is another loan.

    I like him. I would prefer him to be given a chance. A different manager could be the making of him.

    I think when a player does not perform club level but powers on in euros and World cups then they are putting themselfs in shop window, scandless in my opinion coz the fans pay them big wages and should play there heart out for the club, take the big money if it comes in and manager can get someone in who wants to play for the club, he's been one to watch in euros so why no the spfl

    Thought Hagi was decent in euros, displaying a good attitude. I would give him an opportunity at Rangers this season.

    You're crazy thinking Clement will get a tune out of Hagi, the boy is shite. I can only remember him playing one good game and that was the European game when he first arrived. He's living off his dad's reputation, we need better. Move him on and let's hope some other team buys the Hagi brand. We let a player like Daniel Candeias leave and he was 100 times better than Hagi.

    I would sell Hagi and Cantwell and bring a new Croatian prince in Niko Jankovic as our 10. A real 10 that can score and assist well. Danilo can also play well as a CAM as he did that at Feyenoord well, as well as play as a striker. Though out of Cantwell and Hagi if we were to keep one I would keep Hagi any day over Cantwell.
