  • Turkish side Trabzonspor have bid for tav & apparently agreed terms with him
In todays video we are here to discuss & react to the news that turkish side Trabzonspor has officially bid for rangers captain tavernier, the same reports suggest that tav has also agreed contract terms now its just down to the clubs to iron out a deal as Rangers have rejected their first approach with a second bid expected we give our thoughts on the tav bid and if its the right time to sell the rangers captain, is sterling ready to replace tav? do we need another rb in? is there a chance tav stays? this is our reaction to rangers possibly selling their captain..this is our thoughts..whats yours?

One thing Tavpen won't need help with is carrying his medals. Has got to be the least successful captain and hall of famer (no laughing at the back, please ) in their short history. And watched on as celtic are still going through their most successful period /dominance of the govan outfit as for his penalty number's he would never have achieved those, anywhere else in the world bar this bigoted country where refs openly drink with fans of the team they support, and have referreed the game absolutely ridiculous that this is allowed to happen.

11:34 YES CJ! EXACTLY THIS! I've been saying it for the past couple of years. We know Tav is an attacking full back who often gets caught out of position. We know the right side of our defence is the area we concede most goals from, so why are we doing nothing about that? Our managers are the ones failing him. Gerrard had Jack and Kamara providing lateral cover for Tav and Borna. Gio and Beale did nothing to protect that part of our defence. Alrhough Clement has adapted Tav's attacking role, he's still failing us defensively.

For the money he cost and the state we were in when he came in, he deserves respect for all that he has done for us over the years. His time though has come as his decline the last few months showed he is slowing down and we can have others take pens etc and boost our forwards numbers also. If he goes he goes with my thanks for all he did and his consistency. Just hope that Goldson follows him out the door as he is done!

I think if he’s talking to other clubs then it’s over. If he was to stay I’d have rathered he was further up that park and not as our RB. I think he has lost that half yard but without his contributions I think we’d have been in even more trouble. I do think it’s time though, and I thank him and wish him the best. He hasn’t had the players around him to make Rangers more successful since 55 and he’s unfairly taken a lot of the blame, we have a board who backed Beale with mediocrity and we’ve all suffered for that and will continue to suffer. We need something new and we need to build winners. All the best Tav! Thanks for 55 🔴⚪️🔵

Seen a lot of people saying he had more good moments than bad.
With respect… We’re rangers. We’re supposed to win 70%-100% of our games. Theres supposed to be more bad than good.
    However.
Highs and lows over the course of a season are nullified and defined by the league standings when all is said and done.
This man has experienced way more bad moments than good ones in that respect. And that’s the metric that matters.
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
    “Stalwart of second place.”
    “The runner up ringleader.”

    Thank you, goodbye 👋 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't know about getting rid of tav at least this year because without him we are talking goals out of our team and availability. I would rather keep him this year just one more.. while we are in this transitional period is it really okay to loose 58 games and 36 goal contributions? I don't think so. Unless we sign a few more established guys with the young guys. Because so far with us only signing young guys is it going to be okay to leave it to them? I'm just not sure

Usual well balanced appraisal of the situation. Okay, Tav wasn’t always perfect but tell me who has done more for us over the past few seasons??? I agree that it’s a good time to cash in because, if we don’t, he will be yet another player walking out the door for free. I wouldn’t rush to find another right back until Devine is given the chance to prove himself. That’s what the Academy is all about. If that doesn’t work out, then look for someone in January or next summer. Only caveat would be regarding our central defenders - if Goldson leaves, we only have Davies and Soutar with King in reserve. Clement might well deploy Sterling in that position and, if so, we need to think again.
