Hi Angela, thank you. Since you know what I look like in real life and just how blue my hair really is, I’m glad you think they’d suit me! It was lovely to see you too - hopefully I’ll be back down before too long.
I’m definitely a lucky bee, Christine! I’ve been eyeing the Olya for a while too and I love shirts! Last day in Scotland today so hoping to crack on with it soon xxx
I like the clock fabric but agree the red duvet would be very apt, loved hearing a mention of Trago great reasonable fabrics. Have fun with the challenge 😊
Thank you! Lots of love for those two choices coming through in the comments. The nearest Trago to me is Merthyr Tydfil so I don’t get there very often.
Hi Laura, great vlog/reveal 😅 My choices would be; 1) Tokyo Nights (love that fabric), 2) Red duvet & 3) White floral I’m looking forward to your reveal & hearing how you get on with the pattern 🤩
I love the white floral for that shirt, and I agree that you could pair it with so many skirts or pants. Dressy enough for work, casual enough for jeans. I also think the navy blue batik, the clocks, or the leaves would be great in that shirt. Any one of those would be a good choice. Looking forward to seeing your finished work. And I subscribed today. Just found your channel.
Thanks for subscribing, and yes I agree the floral would be versatile. Glad you mentioned the batik - I really like it too but no- one else has mentioned it. I think it possibly looks better in real life than on camera.
Clocks, definitely 😎
Thanks Liz! Hope you’ve got your sewjo back!
Lovely pattern, I like the steampunk and the duvet set, think they’d suit you and the pattern. Good seeing you Sunday

Wow that patterns been on my list for ages, you lucky bee! I’d use the large leaf pattern with some of the clock together. Good luck xxx

I think your idea of a steampunk version would be fun
Thanks Jilly! So do I!
I’d go with the duvet - red is lovely. 👍🏻
Thanks Sue! It’s a lovely fabric and I’ve had it ages so ….!
I like most of your choices but I'm torn between the red/pink duvet set and the clocks - can you do both?😂😂
At some point probably. but not by 31st July 🤣🤣
What a lovely pattern from Clare!
I think honouring her with the duvet fabric would be fab but also think…. CUT THE GOOD STUFF ✂️ Good luck Laura ❤
Thanks Sam! Definitely need to cut the good stuff at some point soon! X
I love the clocks for the shirt and save the floral for if you make the dress.
Don’t think I’d have enough of the floral for a dress but I know what you mean about the print working for a dress. Thanks for commenting.
Ooh I love that shirt pattern!
It’s fab and quirky! Highly recommended!
I like the red Laura ❤
But any of your fabrics would look great I think 😊
Thanks Alison!
Hi Laura, great vlog/reveal 😅 My choices would be;
1) Tokyo Nights (love that fabric), 2) Red duvet & 3) White floral
I’m looking forward to your reveal & hearing how you get on with the pattern 🤩
Thanks Claire - looking forward to seeing how you get on too xx
Lovely pattern, I think the tokyo nights would be great or the red, good luck
Thank you! 😊

Hi Laura, lovely fabrics but like the flowery Higgs &Higgs choice. Also less waste with that fabric.
Very true. Cheryl. It was bought with a shirt in mind - just without a particular pattern in mind. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Great vlog, really enjoyed it. What a brilliant pattern. I think Tokyo nights as the shirt will be big enough to show off the pattern. ❤
Yes, that’s definitely true especially the front yoke piece. Glad you enjoyed and thanks so much for watching.
I've made a dress in the Nightlife Tokyo fabric and I love it. So, that's my choice for your shirt. Happy sewing.
Thank you! I love it too though it was an impulse purchase which is why I have been so indecisive about using it.
Thanks Irene! I love it too. It was an impulse buy which is probably why I’ve been so indecisive about how to use it!
Thanks Irene. I think I have been so indecisive about it as I love it too!
The red 🦖
Another vote for the red! Thank you - and I love your user name!
@@SewVeryLaura 😂
I keep thinking I need that pattern. My choice from your fabric would be 1. Lady macelroy 2. Flowers 3. Duvet
I’ll review it when I do my reveal, but I really like it so far. Thanks so much for your thoughts on my fabric choices 😃
Tokyo Nights or red duvet!!
They’re both lovely and vibrant aren’t they? Thanks for taking the time to comment.
xXX👍👍👍
Thank you Victoria! Xxxx
My opinion - Tokyo nights is too busy for those seam lines. Save that fabric for a shift dress or skirt without a lot of seams.
Thanks Jane - definitely something to think about. I need to read the pattern instructions before I decide I think.
