Another great video, thanks Professor. Very interesting and relevant content that I hope my opponents at my casino never come across. The button bluff has already paid dividends for me.
@@ploprofessor Josh, which hands are worthy of shoving all in facing two potters in front? Last night I had TJQK Rainbow facing two repots in front of me which would put me all in for 300. I called as I felt this hand was good enough to call getting 2-1.
I would / generally speaking you will have better than 33% equity be two random hands, if they are sharing cards, you’re equity will increase. Ty for the question and Ty for watching!
To me the Dry Ace is a stronger "blocker" as it does block any nut flush (minus str8 flush of course). Having a pair block for the nut straight is good, but there are still two other cards that will give them the nuts. I only remember winning one big pot with JJJx in my hand to block the nut straight....was from the straddle. Stack size and the player are the most important by far to make these work. probably lost 1000bb learning that lesson.
If you're playing 5-6 card Omaha an Ace blocker is even more powerful. It's because a Q high flush in 6 card is the equivalent of a 6 high flush in 4 card. However, you need to take careful note of who can't fold K/Q high flushes when making such a play. As you mentioned, blockers are also important when it comes to nuts vs monster draw hands. For example, having pairs on the flop is useful for blocking full houses when you have a wrap + flush draw and cards that block flushes and straights is also useful when you have the nuts, as if you have the nuts with no blockers or redraws it's often better to call just to see a safe turn card before ripping it in.
I played a hand where I had two tens in my hand I think I had 10 10 8 6 well i rivered the straight using 10 8 . I potted it and then got re potted .. my heart dropped .. I kept telling myself I had the ten blockers it was no way he had 10 J for the bigger straight.. but his re pot Was so strong .. I folded my hand .. never found out what he had .. but now I’m thinking what if he bluffed me with the JJ blockers lol 😂
Pot on the river is extremely strong. Rarely is someone bluffing on river with a raise of pot; but if this person was experienced…. He could of been using blockers!
I’ll be covering that in an upcoming video. Most on the same principles will apply but there will be a few additional ones and slight changes. Stay tuned! Ty for watching!
I do. When I do play online I prefer to focus on tournaments, but I do play cash as well. I do prefer live play over online play (partially b/c I play my reads with all my heart).
Cool! Looking forward to bluffing the CRAP outa the nits at the local PLO game! 🤗
Great video. I look forward to working with you before WSOP! Jim
This makes a lot of sense. Nothing is worse than the short-stack cavalier call to ruin your best bluff. I like your shirt style, snazzy!
Ty! Love my Robert graham shirts! Ty for watching and Ty for the comments!
Great vids. A holdem player moving over, great practical advice!
Ty so much for watching and the comments! Love the positive feedback!

@@UnderbellyNZ I am calling with TJQK with two all ins in front. I prefer not having an ace in the hand vs two pots in front.
Thanks professor 😊 looking forward to the next episod online 💪 games
It’s a short and sweet one but I’m hoping it will be out tomorrow!
Great Channel
Ty for the comment and ty for watching!
Good job, thanks again
Would you get it all in (100BB) pre-flop with dry pocket aces? Three handed, both villians raised and re-raised.

Absolutely!
Anyone know any good training sites for Big-O?
I checked RIO and Upswing, but didn’t see anything Hi/Lo.
I will be covering Big O in a few episodes. I actually prefer big O over any other form of Omaha

5 card differences from 4 card? 5 card is all we have in the DC area.
I’ll be covering that in an upcoming video.

never ever bluff dry ace flush blocker unless your playing a table of pros
I think it’s definitely player dependent - Ty for the comment and Ty for watching!
